"I called my credit card company to ensure that the shipping address was registered with them, per the requirements on the Computer Brain website.

My order was held because they couldn't confirm the address with the credit card.

When I called the credit card again, the address was easily confirmed.

The extra annoying part was that their email telling me to contact them didn't have the hours of operation, the days of operation, or the contact person or department listed.

The voice mail system assumes that you can use a phone with touch tones and their outgoing message on the sales department machine (the default for those without touch tones) does not list the hours of operation either.

There could have been a secure link in the email
that was sent that enabled me to enter or confirm
the shipping address. It could have simply asked
for a confirmation return email.

Nothing in the actual process of calling them
and confirming my address, at my expense, was
any more secure than the original internet order.

It was just a hassle to make some feel like they
are more secure.

On the positive side, once this hurdle had been cleared, my product was shipped expeditiously and I haven't had any other issues with it."
