"Total rip off I had the 12 months no interest my balance was 1559.41 In June of 2023 i paid 200 then 250 then 400 so my last payment was 709.41 and that's what I paid on July 21 my expire was July 27 so I was paid off one year later now they say my last payment was 724.41 how that don't even add up so I owe them 14 so with interest it's 1272 now crazy they won't tell me how is it possible nor let me talk to a head person "

"July 24,2023 I purchased a mattress from Conn's in Harlingen, Texas. The saleslady made a mistake on the invoice causing me to receive the wrong mattress. Store people knew a mistake had been made but corporate said no mattress exchanges period. Customer service is a joke and no help at all. I,m stuck with a mattress I did not order and do not want. Also Conn's shared my personnel information with at least two credit agencies without my permission. My advice is do not shop at Conn's."
"They are very deceitful my wife got sent a pre approval letter in mail when she went to purchase washer & dryer she was told it would be 66 dollars a month but after she filled our all paperwork the price was 250.00 a month and they said the 66 was conns price but she wasn't approved by coins they ran her thru American first finance and that's there price so she said forget it to cancel it and they still took 53.00 out of her account as down payment and she is still fighting to get it back when they promised her that wouldn't happen the manager Evan is a crook they have the perfect name conns because that's what they do con you into buying"
"My elderly Mother in law was looking for a new couch with soft arms for comfy napping. We walked into Conns and found the perfect couch, purchased it but….the salesperson input the wrong item number and the next day we received the wrong couch (had square arms) she was home alone and was encouraged by the delivery driver not to unwrap it. When I returned home I immediately realized it was the wrong couch. It is still factory wrapped so I called to have it exchanged but we were informed we are stuck with it. They made several mistakes and are unwilling to correct it. It would be a very simple fix. Shame shame shame"
"My name is William from El Paso. I have for Years dealt with the Conn's Store on Gateway west in El Paso Tx. They have always been friendly, helpful, & done pretty good. On February 2nd, 2019, I bought a new washer, dryer, & a nice LG side by side refrigerator. I also purchased the Extended warranty on all the items. Their service department has always given me good service, I have always given their service personnel good CSI scores. Well, this morning when I got up, I noticed water all over the kitchen floor In front of the refrigerator. I thought what the heck is going on. So, I opened the fridge & everything felt lukewarm, opened the other door and everything in the freezer had thawed out and was leaking everywhere. I check the setting & everything was set properly, I got the owner's manual out went through the troubleshooting guide, everything looked fine. So, I called the Conn's service department to arrange a service call & they inform me the extended warranty expired already. I asked how that could be, that you always send a letter before it expires so I can renew it if I want too & the customer service lady on the phone could not answer the question. All she could say was its going to cost a $99.00 service fee. I asked how can a refrigerator that is barely 4 years old that I am still paying on every month go bad & be out of my extended warranty already. She still could not answer the question, just kept repeating the $99.00 service fee. Oh & finally suggested I call the store where the items where purchased. So I called the Conn's store on the gateway west in El Paso, waited for nearly 22 minutes to speak to a manager. Finally spoke to a Mr. Trujillo He informed me that all he could to was to send a email to service to see if they could do anything for me. Or I could call back later and speak to the sales manager.
Long Story short was on the phone for over a hour and a half. with their customer service department with no resolution, after being a customer for years & buying a TV, Laptop, Gas Range, Washer & Dryer, two 14.000 BTU AC units, & this LG Refrigerator, All they do is blow people off. They have no interest in keeping customer satisfaction. Or retaining customers. They seem to forget El Paso is not that big & word of mouth gets around quickly. People are not going to shop somewhere that people doesn't give a damm about after you purchase something. Will keep everyone updated if anything changes. "
"Husband and I are financing an 85" Samsung television and bose soundbar and subwoofer, everything on Conn's part was right, it's just their third-party delivery service was garbage. Once the team delivered, they brought the television in the house still in the box, sat on our couch without permission after removing the items that were already on the couch and proceeded to set up the television like so.
Don't the delivery and installation people usually set up things outside and then bring it in? Not so sure.
Anyway, during that whole process, they made a scuff mark on our couch, left the box and Styrofoam behind; on top of that, they barely spoke English so they couldn't even help us to set up and navigate our television and we took to it their managers. The are nothing but a bunch of incompetent people who only want to save their ****. They denied our claim, basically calling us liars.
The two managers were Darren and Kathleen, horrible at getting back with people. How do you give someone your number but then when we call, your phone goes straight to voice-mail or is automatically forwarded to voice-mail? Kathleen calls once and we missed the call due being busy with other matters, but you don't call again, you don't leave a voice-mail or text message, so why are you in the customer service position? Because they only care about getting paid and not about customers' concerns and complaints.
Basically, don't shop with Conn's because they can't even afford their own delivery team, have to go through someone else or FEDEX. I guess if their delivery team can't do anything right, Conn's can't either. 041"
"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Their customer service is the worst. I have recorded conversations with managers and reps from Conns laughing at me when I try to get them to correct mistakes made on my account that were validated. A manager named Kathy employee number 115589 told me I would be the last person I'd speak with at Conns regarding the accounting errors they made when I asked to speak with her boss because she didn't want me to file the complaint against her obviously. The first complaint was on request 1472076 where I got a $100 credit for the bad experience but seems like after you get a credit, Conns can mistreat you all they want to moving forward with no additional credit for their mistake.
So I asked for them to come pick up their equipment and they said no you can return it yourself under a repossession which goes against my credit. So now they are forcing me to do business with them when I said I didn't want to anymore because they keep mistreating me on the phone.
I asked for a call back from the upper management team that reviewed the account and still waiting for that call. They say they strive for quality customer service but that's a lie. They don't care about their customers at all and they will try to rip you off by adding additional fees to your contract. Don't fall for the Conns trap they are the worst people to do business with and I hope they get sued for this and go out of business now.
I'll never do business with Conn again and I'm going to post bad reviews to as many places as I can. If they don't want to give me the credit or come pick up this equipment then I'm going to let everyone know so they don't fall for the same trap I did. I have all these calls recorded so I'll be posting the calls as well so the people can hear how they treat customers. They need to be exposed or they will keep doing it. "
"I would give negative stars if I could. Please do not buy. All sells are final and no customer service after the sell. Even if it’s under warranty. I purchase a recliner and I had to wait over a month before it was available, when I called to cancel the order they always gave me some Bulls**t story saying it will be available this week but when we finally got the recliner it only worked for a month then the power buttons stop working in mid air wouldn’t go up or down. The replacement part took nearly a month to receive then I couldn’t get a technician out to the house for another week. have a medical condition and in serious need for a recliner to start home IV infusion and needs a recliner ASAP. Conn’s refused to work with us. Please stay away don’t buy anything. All the items I ever purchased this has been the most horrible purchase experience in my life"
"I ordered a new King size mattress. It was stuck in my bedroom on it's side, and the delivery people left. I contacted the Conns Manager in Orange City Florida, explained what happened and told him I wanted to cancel the order, I had removed the new mattress still in its plastic wrapping to my garage and he could have picked it up there. The manager apologized and assured me that he would have the issue corrected. This was on 2/24/2023. Later that afternoon I was contacted by the manager of the shipping company for Conn's, who also apologized for the issue, and he told me that not only should the new mattress have been installed, but the old mattress should have been removed as well. I was assured by this manager that he would have this issue resolved for me right away, no later than 2/26/2023
Conn's is hands down the most incompetent bunch of idiots I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
After jumping through hoops and being promised by a store manager that my old mattress was to be removed and the new mattress installed,
Today I got a call from a delivery person, who was supposed to pick up the OLD mattress and install the new one.
What does this rocket scientist do? He removes the NEW mattress and leaves the old one!

"My wife and I bought a refrigerator priced it $1,900. We chose to finance and while reading the paperwork seen that we would be paying nearly $10,000 for this refrigerator by the end of the payment period. I told the manager I did not agree to that payment nor did I want to buy this refrigerator from them. She assured me that because those payments were based off of a biweekly pay period that amount actually cut in half from 52 to 26 payments. That is not going to be the situation at all as we later found out. The fact is we will be paying 52 payments bi-weekly for an amount of $408 a month for a refrigerator. They are cons and definitely lived up to their name I would definitely recommend never buying from these people at any store any branch or any state they are in. I gave one star because I had to if I could give negative that's what I would have done."
"I'm only giving them 1 star because toggling it is required to write a review. I'm a new conn's customer and had just received a washer and dryer (financed of course) and it has come with extra. One of the units is hosting a rat. I received them Tuesday and Wednesday night I had the displeasure of finding out what the noise coming from them was. By Thursday morning I was calling customer service, the warehouse and whomever else I could to take care of the matter. I've even requested to speak with a manager/ supervisor (have not received a callback). Ultimately they tell me they cannot help me because of the picture that were taken at delivery of the drums of the units and they "appear" fine. When the fact that the rodent is NOT in the drum was pointed out they rebutted with the question "you would expect us to take the units apart and take pictures of the inside?"... but obviously missing the point that that would be what I would have had to do to even know NOT to have accepted the units to avoid this situation. I'm upset because I've asked for finding for this, it's my first alliance purchase, I've paid for insurance and warranty for **** poor service and accountability. I'm offended that the representatives and manager Mariah (like the singer, said she the only Mariah. Yes this is how she wanted to be remembered) some to me as if I live in filth with a gang of rats. And this was after they were informed of my children's health issues ( I have a child with respiratory issues and another allergic to rodents). I am not badly and would not refer anyone to deal with this kind of service. "
