"Well I’m like every other buyer. Purchased a bedroom set, their delivery drivers show up with it unpackaged and tried to bring in in my home in the middle of pouring rain. I was told by conns to go outside and give him some of my blankets to get it inside. Then they said I refused delivery. Well you’re bringing an upholstered set in the rain with no covering. They come back the next day and the set has sharpie markers all over it. The delivery driver says “I wouldn’t accept this if I was you”. I have not heard from the salesman since he got my money. Still no furniture and they don’t care. "
"Walked into CONN’s, was impressed by the variety of beautiful merchandise. I selected a beautyrest queen mattress / the box spring, along with a floor model 65inch TV console. My first delivery was botched up! Waste of time waiting all day Sunday, Jan 23, 2022. No phone notification because my phone number was generated incorrectly. This should’ve been a red flag. I accepted apology, reschedule for Tuesday, Jan 25, 2022. On this day, only the metal frame was delivered. No forewarning! No box spring, no mattress nor TV Console, after my having confirmed order. I Interrupted my workday, went to the office in person to inform that my old mattress had been thrown out. I accepted apologies a second time, spoke with a manager calmly explaining my situation and disappointment. And even though they admitted that the mistake was on their side it was like pulling teeth to get just $100 Concession off my $2,300 purchase. Was told the problem was that my particular mattress was not available but assured that everything would be delivered Sunday, Jan 30, 2022. On this 3rd attempt they tried to deliver just the box spring, and the tv console glass was stained I could not even keep it. This time I was in tears after 5 days without a mattress. Went to the store again, and instead of a humble greeting, I was asked why didn’t I answer the phone earlier? This, being the same day of my delivery they claimed the mattress was damaged and wanted to reschedule or that I take a different available one. INSANE! I would not recommend CONN’S to anyone! This was a horrific experience, not to mention time, gas money going back n forth to store and aggravation! Went to Mattress Firm a few blocks away. I found a superior Beauty-rest mattress which they immediately offered a substantial discount to offset my experience at CONN’S! My beautiful Beautyrest was delivered as promised the very next day. Thanks Mattress Firm for being a positive solution to this negative experience!"
"If you are late at all they will call you a million times a day! They will try to force you to make a payment even if you explain that you will pay it a little later! (Almost get the feeling they are about to send the mob after you to collect debt). Place is trash! I’ll never buy from them again "

"Recently bought an expensive couch and tv stand from them. 3 deliveries later and I’m forced to deal with a broken stained couch. They rent out movers so the people moving your furniture DONT care if they scratch rip
Or break the furniture. I’ve already had 3 deliveries done and the issues still continues. I wish I could go back and choose another place to rent from, I’m paying over $4k for a broken scratched up couch. Doesn’t make sense to me!!!! WORST company hands down "
"Horrible. 1st time going into that store. Had great deals. Figured I'd be paying monthly. I had no idea. Well I was told it was going to be 89.95 never said monthly or bi weekly. Well I looked on the loan site and saw thay it said 119.00 every 2 weeks. I'm not paying 240 bucks a month for a TV. Also had the sound bar bundle. They charged me separate and charged me the bundle by it self. Also got a clearance coffee table. Figures you know maybe 100 bucks or so. No full price 300 bucks after loan 8xx something dollars. I kept telling them i want to return the items because I was miss informed on the info and they want 15% restocking fee on everything. Which is over 300 bucks! When I called the store, they kept saying the store manager was busy. Customer service wouldn't even help me! I drove up that night about a hour away and he was gone. I spoke to the manager on duty she pretty much said we'll you still have to pay the fee. So they will not take it back after 2 days. So never go to these guys they are a rip off! The deals are not that good. I'll stay with aarons like I have for years. Only 102 bucks for a TV and bundle! Screw Conns they are a bunch of con artists "

"We purchased two sofas in April and they began breaking down in less than six months. Conn's has refused to refund or exchange the sofas. Their answer is to "repair" them. In addition, we discovered that 3 of sofa bottom cushions had either dirt or damage to them, as well. Sadly, I should have inspected them upon arrival, but because we are not messy people I had never picked up the cushions until recently when I discovered black, grease marks on two of the cushions. After further inspection, I also found one of the covers had two holes near the zipper at the back. All things that would not have been visible upon delivery unless you were looking for it. Conn's customer service will not do anything except "repair" said damage. We are senior citizens and my husband is disabled, so good job Conns' on defrauding older, disabled people! "
"The damages to the Risk were caused by the delivery company who self identifies as a subcontractor of
JB HUNT. JB Hunt according to the subcontractor is contracted by Conn’s.
The damages shown were solely caused by the two delivery drivers who delivered the refrigerator, damages were not only caused moving the new refrigerator being moved into the Risk but also in taking the existing refrigerator out. The drivers requested $150 dollars in cash. The reason given for the request was that there was no note in the work order to remove the existing refrigerator and both drivers thought the move was going to be difficult. Additionally, the request was made after the Kenmore was taken apart and the moving had begun. The larger driver wanted $100 but the smaller driver wanted $150 cash to complete the move. It was requested that the existing refrigerator be taken to the garage, it was left half partly assembled in the gravel driveway in front of an open garage door. Damages to three solid oak 120-year-old doors was witnessed by both myself and my son. Damage to the wood floors was witnessed as well by both of us. It was mentioned during the delivery that damages had taken place, delivery drivers responded. Laughter took place, grunting noises and at one point the larger driver said he was hung in the doorway going into the kitchen, I asked they PLEASE be careful stating there are Kitchenaid appliances near the area where the refrigerator had become stuck. Both refrigerators were damaged by the drivers and the ice maker leaked all night long. Being found the
following day when the damages to the new refrigerator were found due to the fact that the
refrigerator had to be moved exposing the damages to the lower left side of at least 9 to 12 deep dents, a large scuff on the top front face. The Kenmore that was new flawless now has multiple damages.
Conns continued to collect with no regard to us or the now damaged appliance in our now damaged home. They said we signed a release of liability for all damages. We signed a release of liability so the ice maker could be hooked up at least that's what we were told. "
"I bought a TV on a Saturday, had it delivered on a Thursday. TV quit working on Monday, during Monday night football. Called conns Tuesday morning and was told I had to call the manufacturer, in this case Samsung, because it's sounded like a manufacturer defect. They have no return policy. Called Samsung and set up a time for the technician to come out. Turns out the console is bad. Now I vave to wait until November 8th, today is October 21st, for a new console to come in to replace it. Conns doesn't care. So I have a new $2000 dollar TV that I've watched 3 times and it will be over a month before I can watch it again. Do yourself a favor and buy from Walmart. At least if it fails, you can take it back and get a new one same day. Conns, just what the name says. They are definitely a con. Don't ever do business with this place. I know I won't ever buy anything from them again "
"I received my product on 9-15-21 and it stopped working on 09-25-21 so I called to see if someone could come fix it. I was given the run around from the store all the way up to Corporate, THAT'S RIGHT EVEN CORPORATE GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND!!!! If I wanted Rent A Center quality I would have gone there. So, I was told it would be 10-13-21 before they could make it, and I was ok with that UNTIL I couldn't be given a time for the repair. I have called each department and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BECAUSE IT IS A THIRD PARTY VENDOR NO ONE CAN GIVE ME A TIME, THEY CAN'T EVEN CALL THE THIRD PARTY THEMSELVES TO GET THE INFORMATION. CONSUMERS BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN DEALING WITH CONN ARTIST SUCH AS CONN'S (THEIR NAME FITS THE COMPANY PERFECTLY!!!) Corporate even said to me, "you can fill out a voluntary repossession form at the store" that there showed me that even Corporate don't give a sh** about their consumers!!!!

"Wish I had read the reviews first. Customer service **** to hell!!! After a month I’m still trying to get a refund for a dishwasher kit that I never received. Giving me the run around about my $35.00. Also my stove and refrigerator was damaged by the technician who came to switch the door to open from the left. She dropped the fridge door and it hit my new stove and dented. She left my house before I noticed it. Had to contact her to tell her about the damage. So she orders the parts to repair my oven door, came to fix it and when she was putting the door back on the hinges, the oven door glass shattered. So she had to order parts again and I also noticed a dent on my fridge door from when she dropped it. So now I need a new fridge door. So she comes back to repair the stove again with success!! So now I’m waiting for my fridge door which I got an email saying it is now received so hopefully this week I get it installed. Please pray for me"

"I filled out the application and got approved for 3000. They asked me to verify a few things...then they asked me again and again. I placed an order and waited, and waited. I finally got a delivery date for Sept 11. I had to call and verify my address, phone number, and email on the 10. Delivery was scheduled from 12-4pm. I noticed it was getting close so I called to make sure that I was going to get my furniture. They had no idea about my delivery. Then I was told there was no couch and it wouldn't be here until October. I cancelled the order and told them... I'm DONE!!!!!!"
"I bought a laptop and the battery didn't work. I said I wanted to exchange it for another one they had in stock and they said I had to pay a 15% restocking fee when the computer I was going to exchange it for was more already. I was on hold multiple times with multiple people and that was the best they could do. If they can't fix it I am returning it and biting the fee. I don't want to do business with companies that are this shady."
