"Brought a laptop it stopped working 1.5 months in. Took it to conn’s they sent it out for repair said it was a manufacturer defect went to pick it up they lost the power supply and cord . Sent it back to Acer . Acer is claiming liquid damage I have an extended warranty that covers it but conn’s won’t pay for repairs Acer won’t pay for repairs made last 2 payments on a computer that I don’t have and they won’t fix .Even thought I have coverage to cover the repairs. Was told today that yes you have coverage until May 2025 unless you use than it voids it . Is that really coverage until 2025. Buy from conn’s and be assured your spending good money for nothing. They don’t seem to understand if you sell a service you have to provide it. Worst place in the world to buy a computer from or anything else. There is a reason they have 1 star out of 5."

"I bought a washer and dryer from Conn's Home Plus and they had a deal going on where you could pay no interest for 12 months on purchases. I didn’t plan on financing them but thought, why not!
In August, I went online to pay my bill and they took my payment TWICE. It was deducted twice from my bank and credited twice to my account at Conn’s. I called them to tell them that I didn’t authorize that payment and that I wanted them to put the other payment back. They assured me that it was an issue with their system and that they would be cancelling the first extra payment. THEY DIDN’T!!!! It cleared my account. Both of them.
I called AGAIN a week or so later and they told me that they were going to issue a refund. I wait another week or so and still no refund. Then, I called in AGAIN and they told me that they were issuing my refund and that it would take six weeks for it to process and get sent to me.
SO…after holding my money for three weeks without my permission, the only way that they can send me a refund is by check and it is going to take six weeks?!?!?! Are we living in 1990?!?!?! WFT?!!?!
I called their billing department and spoke with a manager named Zach. I doubt that is really his name but that’s the name he gave me. He may have been one of the RUDEST customer service people that I have ever dealt with. Not only did he do NOTHING to help me, he, and another lady at Conn’s proceeded to BLAME ME for the extra payment saying that I authorized it. THAT’S ABSURD!!! Why would someone make two payments that were timed stamped in the same second and the call and complain about it.
I don’t advise that anyone EVER do business with this company. They are rude, incompetent and don’t seem to care much about customer experience. If you need appliances or anything else for your home, you can do a lot better than having to deal with these CLOWNS!!!!"
"I purchased a washer/dryer and a sectional from Conns in June 2022. They told me the set was brand new. Last month the dryer stopped working. I called Conns they told me there was nothing they could do for me. They refused to help. I’ve been hung up on several times even for asking who I was speaking with they would disconnect the call. Eventually the service center finally sent someone out to look at the dryer he ordered two pieces to fix the dryer one piece came the other piece was never delivered. So they said they’ll do an exchange of the dryer. Saturday my dryer was supposed to be delivered between 10:30 to 1:30. No one never showed up or called. So I called at 1:35pm to check the status. Dispatch tells me they couldn’t deliver because the truck broke down. They’ll call me once the tow truck comes. An hour later I get a call from a lady named Diamond. She tells me the second truck broke down and my dryer couldn’t be delivered until Monday ( Labor Day) at this point I’m ****. So here I am Monday (Labor Day) I called to check the status of what time my dryer will be delivered. They tell me my dryer wasn’t on the list to be delivered because they had a power outage and that I’d have to wait tomorrow. My whole 3 day weekend gone and wasted waiting on Conns. They only they could say is I’m sorry and I understand. Highly **** customer."
"DO NOT GO HERE!!! Conns is a CON!! Just like the name says. I have made a purchase with conns 5 years ago. I was doing the monthly plan until I found out the originally the insurance I signed up for was not what I had asked for. After my tv had messed up due to electrical problem with the tv, I stopped paying because I could not afford to pay for it with my third daughter being born. When I finally got back on my feet, I called Conns to settle the rest of what I owed. I then started a monthly settlement plan. I made my payments every month. When it reached the end(what I thought) I was told that I am finally done paying it off. The person on the phone asked me how does it feel to finally have this weight off my shoulders? I told them it felt great. Been a hard and tough road with me paying this right after Covid started. I never received an email and only a couple calls. When I answered they said they see that I have it paid and they put me on the do not cal list. About a month ago I went to the bank(this is a year and a half since I paid this debt) and tried to get a loan for a better vehicle for me and my three kids. The bank denied me because they said Conns is still on my credit. Ummm okay that doesn’t sound right. So I called Conns and they told me that I didn’t make the last payment and they threw out the deal I originally made with them. Then asked me to pay them over $1000 after I had finished this deal with them. I told them that it should be paid. I spoke to them multiple times. Y’all never reached out to me and said I owed money. The money wasn’t scheduled to take out of my account like the previous months I paid. They keep trying to blame me even though they never emailed me(which they say they did) and never called me more than a couple times. I have pictures of all of it but they don’t care. This place is a CON. They want you to pay 3x what the items you bought are even worth. I cannot get a newer car for me and my 3 daughters. As a single father in todays time it’s not easy trying raise kids. It’s doesn’t make it any easier when companies like this want to take all your money and some. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I used to like this place and speak highly of it until they constantly screwed me over. Always give you the run around and never take any kind of blame for anything. "I bought a bedroom set and it was not put together correctly and the mirror was broken. Literally been on phone back and forth for 3 days and still no relief. I can not sleep in my bed and still don’t have a mirror. No one can give me a definite answer on anything. "Not too long ago, I purchased a couch and chair from Conn's. I was looking for something durable and would stand up against the test of time. I was assured by the salesmen who sold me the items that the leather on the chairs was durable and would not peel. What a lie, they both are peeling and are an embarrassment to have in my house. Long story short, I went back to the store that I purchased the items from, talked to a manager and was sent packing. I will never ever ever ever buy another piece of crap from any Conn"s store as long as I live. Conn"s is a con. "
"The online ordering system totally messed up my order. I wanted delivery in Louisiana but the confirmation email had me listed as pickup...in Texas.
Customer service got the issue worked out but I was not contacted for a few days regarding the delivery day. They canceled the first order and made a new order to fix the issue. This left two massive transactions pending on my bank account.
I tried again to use their customer service to fix this issue. Most of their representatives had some heavily accented English which I assume means they're outsourcing these positions overseas. Their automated selection is extremely limited so I had to select a random one and get the rep to transfer me.
Despite specifically requesting a supervisor in billing right from the start I was still transferred several times, having to verify myself again and again and explain my issue to each person I was passed off to.
All in all they finally got me to a naturally English speaking person with access to expedite the first canceled order transaction, but I still have to wait potentially a few days for the funds to be released back to my account.
All in all, I do not recommend using Conn's...unless maybe if you walk into a store and deal with someone face to face.
And I haven't even gotten the delivery yet. Depending on how that goes I may be doing another review. "

February 2021
I purchased a Samsung Washer and Dryer Set along with the pedestals and had extended warranty on both items.
The Washer started making a loud noise. It would beat and bang when the clothes would wash.
December 02,2021, I had repair come out. They had to replace washer because of a issue it had with the balance. The repair man said it was okay to use the old washer until the new washer was brought out. (this caused black hard stuff to crumble from the inside all over the floor, and it scratched the flooring)
Now, this washer has a Known defect and they are aware of this. The second washer is still under the same numbers and date of this known defect. Not acceptable.
The New Washer was brought out in December 14 2021. When the delivery guys was there. They scratched to floor getting the old one out as the washer had trash under it from the washer parts breaking while using it.
The new washer came on December 14,2021. The guys never balanced it. The door on the Unit was so loose. I called the company and they sent the Delivery Manger out to look at the door, not a repair man. In the email, it stated that a DELIVERY was on its way. I assumed they were bringing a new one. As it was Christmas time, I had moved all my items out of the way for the DELIVERY. But NO delivery was with him, As it was the Delivery Manager alone. He stated he would have to send a Repair man out to look at the item. And stated that Conn's would call me. A MONTH later, I still had NOT had a call from them to schedule a repair. I assumed they were being delayed as it was Christmas and New Years.
I waited for the call and never got it.
On January 15,2021
I tried to leave a review on the Conn's site and it stated it was unable to publish my review due to Containing Personal information. It was not a good review.
Again, I called the Conn's number.
On February 22, 2022.
A repair man came out, (Dean), stated the DOOR is suppose to be that loose. The bolts will not tighten up and the latch is wiggling.
Now, my previous washer, the door never wiggled or moved. There is NO WAY this door is supposed to be loose like this, as it will leak being a FRONT LOADER.
He said he leveled the washer, which was not level to begin with from delivery.. He stated, he ran a cycle, but there was NO weight in the washer at the time. When a load of clothes is in the washer, it makes the loudest noise.
I was unhappy with his response.
I received a email asking for a survey on the repair. I replied with a Negative Review. I never got any call from anyone on this review. As the email said, someone would contact me.
I called Conn's again for another service repair to come out as I was not happy with the previous repair man.
Every time I wash any type of load, The Washing Machine Shakes my Whole house. It Causes my Cabinet in the Kitchen which is in another room to vibrate my dishes. Just waiting on them to break and fall over from this is unacceptable as well.
And the Washer makes a load noise, The Door shakes and vibrates and The Washing Machine Vibrated out of my Closet into the hall. This is very unacceptable.
I had Jamie come out at this time. He stated it was the cause of the balancing thing as well that happened to the first washer. He was very polite and helpful. Stated He would try to get this resolved for us.
I had a repair appointment call on 3/15/2022. It was Dean, I canceled the appointment, as I did not want this man to come out as I was not happy with his first response.
I received some parts in the mail. Had no clue as to what they were. Never was told anything on this.
I had Jamie come out again on 3/16/2022, I refused to let him put the replacement parts in the unit.
There was NO replacement part of any mention of the Door being Loose.
The reason for my 1st call was because the door being loose.
I had Paid for a BRAND NEW washer and dryer. I DID NOT pay for replacement parts washer.
This 2nd Washer has the same problem that the first washer had.
I am Not satisfied with the results.
I have tried to call corporate but I keep getting the same people. OH, you have to schedule a repair.
I want them to come get this Washer and Dryer Set, return my money that I have paid. As, this is Junk.
Having to call for a repair is ridiculous in itself. You go thru 3 different people, they all ask you the same questions and then they ask you what the reason for calling. So you have to repeat yourself over and over.
Having to call for repair on the same item more than 5 times is ridiculous. And The ISSUE IS STILL NOT FIXED.
I purchased a Freezer from Conn's and have had no problem.
But the Washer is having the same issues over and over.
My payment is due on 3/17/2022, and I do not think I will be making a Payment on this until the Issue is resolved.
