"After reading the bad reviews, I didn't want to go through this company. After giving it some thought, I did anyway. I found the customer service to be excellent. I asked allot of questions and always got a reply within 12 hours. It took my product 6 days to be delivered after UPS received the info. It took a total of 8 days from time of order. Everything I ordered was sent. I would go through this company agin. Very Satisfied:-)"

" Order has been queued for awhile, tried to cancel it, but can't get a hold of anyone over there.
I think thats the frustrating thing for most people; they rightly expect an immediate (or at least same day) response to their concerns, if not they panic, and either a. write a premature scathing review, or b. send a very angry threatening email to console source. Unfortunately
I was guilty of the latter, but in all fairness I've never not been able to get a hold of a reseller right away. It sucks on both ends, but if this matter is resolved by console source and I get my money back I'll be satisfied. I already reordered my items from modchip.ca, they arrived the next day, even before my card got charged.
Maybe if console source acknowledged that had customer service problems and were working to correct them, they would have a much higher rating on the site. I see now from these posts that the frighteningly long response time is normal, and that in fact most of these issues get resolved, it just takes forever. For now i'm content to sit on my hands and hope it'll turn out ok.

15 JUL 2008 - ~1400 hrs - I receive the package in Savannah, Georgia. I opened the package to find that what I had ordered was what I had received. The 1 GB Micro SD card was Kingston brand. The R4 was in the original packaging, and it came with all of the pictured accessories. As per the description on the R4DS website, the R4 no longer ships with the CD. The firmware is now supplied solely by the company's/team's website. After installing the kernel from the website and moving some files onto the Micro SD card, I placed the card into the DS and found that everything was in solid working order. Console Source got the product that I ordered to me in a time that is reasonable for a company based out of Canada, considering that I live in the southeastern United States. Would I go through them again? I don't see why not. My girlfriend now wants an R4 after seeing what it can do, and I may be ordering from them again relatively soon. Overall, the company did a good job.

"Im very very Happy when I receive my package today. The Package is not only arrive on time, it arrive a day early. Product work like a charm and im very happy with it. Only thing thats negative is that my Package is missing a CD, CD that allow to you to put firmware into your memory SD card. Thats not a problem because the website of the product have all the update and recent update. Im very happy with my item. Thank you sooo much ConsoleSorce. "Well, I found 3 items that I want to bought from there, at the beginning everything seems to be normal, I pay for it and they just told me that the item was already out of the store, and will be in my hands in about 12 days. I've been waiting for 2 months, and I've been sending them emails every week (since the past first month), but they just told me that "the item is in motion", "it's leaving certain point", etc. They didn't even bother try to contact me to make it clear, they just keep telling me that they cannot track the item.

Anyway I just lost any hope to get the package in my hands, just because the last item that i get is telling me that "Canada Post confirms the item was delivered successfully.", but i don't get it, since they told me that "There is no Tracking Number.".

They hardly respond any mail, and in the chat they always told me to wait another week or so. The package didn't have a tracking number, but must have a number to know any problem with it. They never told me anything; When i contact canadapost, they told me that every shipped item must have at least a number (not a tracking number, but something about the details of the package), and they don't seem to give me anything.

This is what's happened just a minutes ago when i was trying to contact someone in their chat.

"Just got my items a week after ordering, which is fine.

The problem with these guys is getting any info out of them. They never sent me a UPS tracking number, which their site says that they automatically do within 24 hours of placing the order -- LIES! I sent them two e-mails and filed two support tickets begging them to simply tell me the tracking number, assuming the package was sent at all.

I finally called them today. They answered promptly and the guy on the phone, who was very nice, gave me the tracking number. I could finally see that it had indeed been sent, and the package arrived a few hours later.

But WTF -- why was it so hard for them to do this via e-mail?!

The moral: Good prices, but don't expect ANY response from them unless you call.

"I ordered a modchip from them and they sent me something completely different. When I complained about it, they told me that it's out of stock so they sent another one without letting me know. They don't even update their website properly to state what actually do and do not have. If they had notified me before shipping it, I would have declined it and asked for the order to be canceled.

I created a ticket with their help desk support and it took a week for them to reply with one sentence telling me that I can send it back for a refund with no additional instructions. I waited for an RMA number to mail it back and after another week, I got fed up and decided to pay the $10 to ship it back as fast as possible.

I sent them another response asking if they received and the refund.

I got fed up so I complained to the BBB about this, and I received a message from ConsoleSource that the refund has been issued. I checked my bank account and it wasn't there. I called them directly and they told me that it would be there in 3 days. They were right! I received the refund in full.

In summary, I have ordered from them before and this is the first time I have ever had a problem like this and this is the last thing I will ever order from them!

"Consolesource.com promised me that they would send out the item I purchased within 24 hours. It wasn't until today, tuesday, that the item was sent. I had sent them an email asking and i got no reply. I tried to talk to some one on a chat on their website but never got service, so I finally called they. they couldn't have been nicer, to my surprise. We will see if it comes within the next 4 days as they say it will."

"Well this was my first poor online purchasing experience. I placed my order for HD Extreme Combo on February the 8th my Amex was charged the very next day and I waited for my order, and I waited and waited and waited. Finally I contacted them on the 18th and raised a ticket. I had no response until the 21st where they sent me the Canada post tracking number, didn't bother to look into it themselves, after a quick look into it the package appeared to be picked up but that's the only record, Canada Post informed me that Console Source needed to raise a problem report which I passed on to the vendor , but certainly something I should not have to be doing. I had no response to my issue as per usual as it seems so I raised another ticket on the 22nd requesting a response to when I would have my order or a refund as well as an email requesting the same. Again no response so finally I told them to refund my money and forget the order on the 25th and refund my money to which they finally responded today on the 26th of February, I doubt I will get my refund in a timely fashion.

My advice is avoid these guys like the plague, I wish I has known their poor track record before ordering from them and certainly regret doing so. I'd stick with modchip.ca as it seems they have a excellent record.

February 28 Update- Well I got my refund today, so they were very quick on providing the refund from the date they said I would get it(Jeff called me yesterday and informed me I was being refunded), only a minor annoyance they charged my credit card $51.71 and refunded $51.10, $0.60 short, not worth bitching about I know, probably an exchange rate issue, c'est la vie.

"Was a little hesitant after reading all of the bad reviews. Decided to try it out anyway. Ordered the Black Katana Wii case on January 23 just before midnight. On the 24th that status was changed to processed. On the 25th the status was changed to complete. Received my Wii case on the 29th. It was packed well and the order was correct. Everything worked out well. I would buy from this company again and I would recommend them to anyone living in Canada. I do live in Alberta, Canada so that might have been a big factor with the quick shipping."

"i am very happy to say that i got my r4 for the ds in 5 days. well 4. it arrived today. however what i don't get is for all the people that had to wait for a long time. why didn't you just call your credit card company. they had given me no response when i emailed them 2 times called like 50 times to see what was going on. i called mastercard they said ok give them 5 days and if nothing happens will take care of them for you. meaning they will get you your money back or the product. luckly mine came in 4 days. i ordered on sat they charged me sunday. arrived thus. i talked to mastercard twice and they said that as long as you have proof of what you ordered. aka your invoice. they will take care of it. i've seen a response were someone called visa and forced them to give a refund( they claimed that it was shipped to the wrong address. tired to blame the postal service. if anyone neeeds any more info just holler at me."
