"I ordered 3 pairs of shoe inserts at the end of January. One pair arrived on time. I called customer service in mid-February, and they said the other 2 were expected to be shipped out the same week. It's now the middle of March and I called to cancel the remaining order. They said they already sent an email explaining that they had cancelled the remaining order due to their inability to restock the items, in February. I never received any such email. They also hadn't initiated the refund due until I called to complain. This has been a terrible experience with a company that I no longer trust."
"Ordered Overalls got email said they were put on truck today .and charged my card. week later got email saying out of stock. been two or three weeks haven't put money back on credit card. Which would of been fine if they put money back next day they took it out same day they said it shipped. no big deal I ordered from another company and received in less than week."
"Ordered an item on the 14th of February. Order was processed on the 17th of February and the money was taken out of my account. Item never showed up. Called them March 6th to ask about the status of my order. She tells me that the order had been cancelled due to it being "out of stock." (Why wasn't I informed of this?). She apologizes and says that they will issue me a complete refund. Call them back March 9th to check the status of my refund. She tells me that they have not gotten to it yet and that it will take 24 hours to process. Call back on March 11th. She says that they are behind and that it will now take 3-5 business days to receive a refund...
I called customer service 17 days after I had purchased this item. During those 17 days I never received any phone call or e-mail telling me about the cancellation of my order. I wonder how long they were planning on waiting to tell me about this...
Why wasn't I contacted by Construction Gear about the fact that my order had been cancelled? Why didn't the website state that the item was out of stock to begin with? Why did they process the order and take the money out of my account even though they did not have it? Why is it taking so long to get MY money back?

"When I received my shoe order they didn't fit so I sent them back to exchange for a different size. I hadn't heard anything in a month so I called to see why the exchange was taking so long. I was told that the exchange dept. was very backed up but they would process it soon. About a week later I received an email saying they were refunding my money. So I never did get my shoes but I did get my money back so I was able to go somewhere else to buy them. I guess it all worked out but I was unhappy with the lack of communication and how everything took so long. "
"Not happy. I ordered a pair of boots for a xmas gift that did not fit. i returned them and called the company asking to make an exchange and ordered by husband a few carhart shirts. They recieved the boots i returned, never refunded me or processed my exchange. This is the first time i have ordered from this company and i have made at least 4 phone calls, if you have made any you will know this was not easy! Will not be ordering again."

"I am still waiting for a refund on boots I shipped back 9 weeks ago! I took the package to the post office with the return label I printed from construction gear's website. However nothing has happened. They tell me they haven't received the package. I called and I was told they would issue a refund while they investigate the location of my package. I even had them email me saying that they said this. However, still nothing! I emailed them and I just keep getting a run around. 9 weeks later I have no boots and I'm out $130 and I don't know if I will ever get my money back..."
