"I recently order the 3 set disposable buffet warmers and was able to place the order fairly quickly. My only concern was whether or not I was going to receive my order in time for my upcoming party. Since the shipping charges didn't indicate a delivery time nor did my email confirmation, I was uncertain of when my order would arrive.

To ensure that I would receive my order on-time, I reached out to customer service to get a confirmation. I was very impressed with the professionalism, timely responses, and detail from support rep Caryn Rumshas that eased any concerns that I had.

For all future party needs, I will definitely order from Catering Supplies Depot again.

"We placed an order on January 21 -- turned in our credit card payment so you could get your money -- and us, the customer, is still waiting to hear from you an entire month later. I have made two phone calls and found out it was on backorder until March 9. Why did YOU not inform us that it was on backorder!

Poor service, poor follow-through. Will NEVER order from Cook's Direct again!

"Cook's Direct customer service did not respond to my e-mails. The image of the item(s) I purchased did not match the item that I received. I contacted Vollrath, the company that supplies Cook's Direct this product, and found some additional help, but did not have my issue resolved. After another day of frustration, I purchased the item that I needed from Cook's Direct. I am not happy, but will probably continue to grudgingly use this service."

"I had a confusing ordering experience. The telephone Advisor I spoke with while on the website advised me to order by phone for certain reasons relevant to my shipping needs, and gave me the # to call. However, the person I spoke with when I called to order informed me that no orders are accepted over the phone, orders must be placed through the website, and denied a Telephone Advisor would have given me those instructions. I was upset at that point, but decided to follow through with placing the order anyway and went back to the website to do so.
I deleted a number of items from my order during the shipping information page. Those items were on sale and/or were listed at a low price which I considered a good deal. Finding out the cost for shipping those items revealed them to be anything BUT a bargain. A shipping cost of $30 for a $4 rubber spatula? No thank you. $16 of such small items had a total shipping cost of $70. Those items were quickly deleted from my order, at which time a balloon appeared on the screen offering to speak with a phone Advisor. I passed on that option. Ended up strictly sticking to ordering the 1 item I originally was looking for. That was a $21.49 item for which shipping was $11.75. I was told I could expect to recieve the item in 3-5 business days. I recieved it within that time frame. The item was in good shape- obviously brand new, no flaws/defects. I'm very happy with the item itself.

"I called to place an order and the young man that I spoke to was completely uninterested in helping me and pushed me to the website instead. "I was searching for a chili pepper themed mitt to fit fajita pan handles and I stumbled upon Cook's Direct. They advertised that the case price of these mitts was $3.64. After I ordered and paid I received an email from Cook's Direct that said the price was for each item, not the case. They would not honor their posted price even though I had already completed my order. I will never order from this company again because I really needed those items in a hurry and their "pricing mistake" wasted my time and was extremely frustrating. I will not do business with a company that does not stand behind what they advertise. Period. By the way... the so-called "each" price was more than twice of what competitors are charging! Buyer beware!!!"
