I had placed an order for replacement speakers for my Ampeg bass (guitar) cabinet. They had a decent price on their item so I ordered 4 speakers online on 06.08.11. On 06.09.11 I sold the cabinet I was to install the new speakers into. I called a few times thinking someone might be there and left a voicemail to stop the order, but they were not in the 'office' and on some 'vacation' or 'holiday', (The whole business?) and they wouldn't be back until Friday to resume shipping items placed that week. Assuming that they recieved the voicemail, I waited to hear back from them. Never happened. First thing Monday morning (06/13/11) I called again to say not to ship my items and to cancel the complete order, being I recieved an email stating they had the order packed and WAITING for UPS pick up on Tuesday. The guy (Tony, I assume) wasn't very sympathetic or helpful. Said that it went out on Friday (it didn't) and I should get the package on Wednesday. I told him I don't have the cabinet anymore and I'm not willing to pay $60.52 for shipping of a 40 pound box. I told 'Tony' that the email said it hasn't shipped yet and it was still in staging. He claimed it took the system up to 48 hours to refresh the real time shipping info and to let the buyer know that the item has shipped. (That seems highly unusual for a company that strives on perfection.) Once again I told him to contact the warehouse guys (which he said he did and it was too late even though it was still 2 days from shipping the RIGHT package on the 15th) and cancel the order and have the package returned to their warehouse, or just not ship it at all. He said I got a great deal on the speakers and to turn around and sell them on eBay and make some money on them or keep em incase I blow a speaker. I never blow speakers! Nice sales pitch, Tony. There are a million of these on eBay and I don't want the overhead since I am out of a job currently. I once again called him back 2 days later when the package never showed up and I noticed a UPS intercept on the (four?) packages that were sent to me originally. I told him to cancel the order since the one he sent to me was the wrong product and had to go to North Carolina instead on Minnesota. He said the new package would be here on Monday June 20th (which it did), but it wasnt shipped until June 15th, FIVE DAYS AFTER I TOLD THEM TO CANCEL THE ORDER FOR THE THIRD TIME! Tony again said he hates to lose customers respect. WHAT?!?!? Fix the problem and you wouldn't have that issue and people would be happy! After running numbers through the websites, USPS would've charged $28 to ship a 40 pound box and UPS would charge $31. Where did they get $60.52 for a shipping cost when they said they don't make money off of it in the first place? SCAM!!!!! I understand the cheap price, but lets be real here. They wouldn't even allow me to return the item with a rejected package. They told me I'd have to pay the return shipping which in total would be over $100. I don't understand the logic behind customer service here. It was a simple fix after their first mistake to just cancel the order, but they insisted they just HAD to ship it out after being told a few times not to. Shame on you, Tony. Remember, the customer is always right. Just refund my total order price including the shipping and you can have your speakers back. Not a big deal. Your computer system wouldn't even let me use the 15% off e-coupon. Said it was invalid, so I had to go with the $5 off coupon. Thanks for the 'savings', whatever that means. Judging by other reviews, its the same game and always an excuse why your company can't help people out and take responsibility for your companies mistakes.

This customer service is unnacceptable and is at best........the WORST transaction I have ever made wtih a company in my entire life. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the customer service person got absolutely rude with me and threatened to put my order status as Shipped and I was saying loudly........CANCEL my order. I do not want it. He said it was still processing and it had been since June 8th...........now all of a sudden POOF this order is magically listed as finished and shipped because I do not want to listen to him? I think not. He told me that if I didn't want to listen to what he had to say he was going to ignore my request to cancel the order and ship it whether I wanted it or not. Either I could listen to him or he would not cancel my order. Also, I was told that it takes 3 to 5 business days for the cancelled transaction to show up on my credit card which is fine as long as it does show up in that time period. He said he was the supervisor and so I asked to speak to the VP......he said the VP doesn't talk to customers. Seeing as how today is June 14th and they still haven't even shipped it and I asked them the day I ordered it to advise me if they thought it would not be here in time for June 17th........because that is the date I needed it for. I would not recommend doing business with this company. "
