"First time I’ve ever had an issue with a Crutchfield product. My daughter gave me a kenwood cd receiver for my 2001 Mercedes Slk. It came with virtually no wiring instructions. I contacted the company and was sent installation instructions but no wiring instructions. I called again and got detailed but inaccurate instructions. The factory amp in my car is a 2 channel only but was told how to hook it up as a 4 channel. I tried this, no output. Seems that the amp was getting powered from the factory radio, but was not be powered via the Crutchfield wiring harness. Got tired of uninstalling and reinstalling factory unit and returned the new unit. "
