I did order a helmet, paid to have it overnighted. It was not. They did refund my money for the overnight shipping, which was good and issued a coupon too. The helmet did show up that Saturday night, two days late, and too late for the event. I’m happy with the helmet otherwise. For the most part they do a fare job, the carrier they use, not so much.
The helmet I ordered arrived that Saturday evening, by what looked like a tractor repair truck. We do have tractors at our ranch. I was a little taken aback when the driver handed me a Cyclegear box.

"Ordered LS2 Explorer helmet and it came with a torn strap cover & missing hardware for visor. The helmet looked like it was never worn but, the strap cover where the magnet hold is was almost completely torn off. The helmet is supposed to come with instructions and 3 tabs for wearing the helmet with out the visor and they were not included with the shipment. It was also missing another bag of some kind of pads and they weren't included either. It didn't even come with the sticker! The helmet obliviously was a return and Cycle Gear did not inspect the helmet before shipping it back out.
Luckily for me, i contacted LS2 and told them about the problem and they sent me out the missing parts & some additional swag to make things right. LS2 customer service is top notch! Cycle Gear..., not so much!
The helmet is very comfortable and looks great! Has plenty vents to help keep you cool on those hot days, which works very well in +90 degree weather. The helmet comes with a secondary internal smoke face shield that is super cool. It allows you to ride with the primary face shield open and maintain eye protection. One little flick of the finger and the inner shield goes up or down. Very cool feature! Also came with clear anti fog pinlock. The bigger brand name helmets don't come with that! Has all the safety ratings & features as the bigger brands. And, i own a couple of the $800+ street helmets. This is my first enduro/adventure class helmet and i know i made the right choice. My only complaint is that there is no D-loop strap. Only Euro models get the D-loop for this model. When i first wore the helmet, the quick release buckle felt a little bulky. When you look down it kinda rubs my neck. In my case a double chin. They should have made the locking buckle side of the strap adjustable instead of the male end of the strap. However, i got use it pretty quick & doesn't bother me anymore. But did take a couple of rides for that not to be annoying. Overall this a phenomenal helmet. Very comfortable, keeps your head cool on those hot days and warm on the cold ones. Very stylish and great price point. I tried on just about every helmet in its class and this one by far superseded the bigger name brands in everyway possible. Great Helmet, Great Price, Great Company, Great Customer Service!! If you haven't considered LS2 helmets maybe you should give em test fit and see for your self. Highly recommended. "
