"Searched all over for a black entertainment console of this size. It took about 2-3 hours to put together. I recommend using a little dab of wood glue on dowels to make it more secure. We had some minor troubles getting the holes to line up squarely, but made it work. The back panel is very flimsy paper board and the middle shelves are sagging a bit with our receiver on it. Overall, it is not great quality construction but exterior looks good to the eye.
Box was damaged when we got it. Only cardboard backing was damaged inside which I used black tape to cover and a small knick in the top piece, which I could cover with a furniture pen. It's similar to furniture you would buy and assemble from a retail store. Not bad, but not sure if it's worth the price."
