"Terrible and disappointing experience. I ordered a Canon Rebel T2i on 6/5 - did not receive the shipment until 6/14, despite living in NYC (the item shipped from NJ). After anxiously waiting for more than a week, I opened the package only to find that the camera was defective (it would not power up - it did nothing). I returned it the next day - DIY received the return on 6/16. I called Customer Service that day to confirm receipt - the rep couldn't confirm receipt but assured me that if delivery confirmation indicated it was received that day, there was nothing to worry about and the replacement would be shipped the next day, 6/17. In fact, it's 6/22 and no replacement has been received. I am very frustrated with the lack of response to emails and phone calls, the defective item, poor delivery speed, etc. I wish I would have spent the money I thought I was saving by ordering through DIY to order through a reputable company instead. Stay away from DIY.

What a joke - two days ago the reply by DIY to this review cited the "disaster in Japan" as a reason for the serious delay in processing my order/return. This was never mentioned to me in our correspondence (nor is it a sensible excuse for DIY's own poor communication), and it was just removed from the company's response today.
I finally received my camera in the original Canon box (although I am still not certain that it is a new product because the seal on the box was removed). Regardless, the camera works, and I was too frustrated to return it again (which I'll probably soon regret).
The only thing that ever prompted real action from DIY was this bad review - within minutes of posting it, I received a response to my (three) unanswered emails and a phone call. I did ultimately receive a $25 credit as "compensation," but DIY premised it on my revising this review. I won't take the bribe. "
"Placed a order on May 23 2011 got a shipping conformation with in 48 hours, i have never seen a company ship a portable air conditioner that fast.
The portable air conditioner arrived earlier then expected, and it is in great condition .
I had a couple of questions about the warranty on the unit, and the rep was very nice to talk to and very helpful.
