"They say my product went out of stock when I did not buy the $500 tripod or $400 battery they begd me to buy over the phone. The site still say it is in stock, I called the customer service from another phoneumber to check them out, I said I wanted to buy a Canon 7D (what I was buying) and askt them wehn it would be shipped, they sad it would be shipped the next day.
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!"
"Excellent transaction, camcorder was delivered earlier then I had expected. Gave me a few days to get use to all the features before my family vacation. A++"
"I ordered a canon ds1400. One day later they send me a email to confirm my order. After the call they are trying to convince me to buy a battery. After my refusal, they argue that they have no presence in this thing. service is very rude and they do not have the answer why? This my first time I have deal with kind of a hoax and rough service.I hope my bad experiencre with the company will help to other people .
"
"Stay away from this company, I ordered a canon SD 1400 IS which was priced @ $118 much lower than the retail price, then got an email asking to call customer service for verification - I was ordered an additional battery to which I refused and I was told no further verification required and my order was processed immediately(what a joke)
Called them again today and got to know that the camera was on backorder (LOL) so ended up cancelling the order... Gentle suggestion : STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE JUST JERKS"
"AVOID***AVOID***AVOID*** Dailydealdigital are dishonest bait and switch artists. I purchased a Canon EOS rebel T2i from them at a very low "bait" price. Had the usual upgrade conversation from them. When a week had passed, and no tracking number was sent, I called them again to check on my order. They told me that my order was canceled due to a lack of availability of this camera."Didn't you get the order canceled email?" Funny! When I called back 5 minutes later they told me they had Canon EOS Rebel T2is in stock??? I then received the canceled order email within minutes. These jokers are flim flam artists and should be avoided like the disease they are to the retail photography business."
"DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE
What an utter joke of a company. I placed and order for a Canon Rebel XS. Four days later they emailed me telling me to call them. After spending 20 minutes on hold, somebody tried to swindle me into buying a warranty, a variety of batteries, lenses, etc.
Two weeks later I still have not received even a tracking number, much less my camera. I have currently been on hold 42 minutes waiting to cancel my order. Daily Deal Digital is a bogus company of slimy hucksters.
My credit card company has been put on notice to monitor anything being charged by them. "
"Real Cheaters. They charge your credit card immediately and ship the order after three weeks that is also after repeated requests. Ordered extra battery with the camera. Instead of giving extra battery they replaced with the original battery and shipped only one battery. They never mentioned when I ordered about this policy.
Buy at your own risk."
"PLEASE, FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND, STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE - dailydealdigital.com. Here is their process:
1. You go to their site, find a good price for the item you want and place an order.
2. You almost immediately receive an e-mail confirming the order.
3. You wait, wait, wait for confirmation of your order's shipment. In the meantime you will get bombarded by e-mails and/or phone calls, with the intent of either selling you additional accessories you do not want or need OR convincing you to upgrade to a more expensive version of what you've ordered.
4. In the end, you get frustrated and decide to cancel your order.
5. They charge your card even if they HAVE NOT SHIPPED YOUR ITEM.
6. You dispute, they CLAIM TO HAVE ISSUED A REFUND.
7. Your card has been charged and your refund is NOWHERE IN SIGHT.
Ignore the seemingly good and excellent ratings that you see of this site. They're most likely planted by the owners or employees of the store.
The criticisms, you should not ignore. They are from actual customers. If you need more proof that you should not buy from this store, see the Better Business Bureau report for this company:

"I am a photography student and this is my first year! I am very happy with the purchase I made through dailydealdigital.com. I am just learning now and know I will be needing more equipment so I will be getting it from them since they were so awesome with helping me pick out all the things I needed –thank god they called me to verify my order, I almost forgot to get a mem card!- . Maybe next time I buy more equipment from them they will give me a student discount hehehe! ;) Again, very easy steps, thank you so much!"
"I ordered a Canon 50D body only for the price on their web site which at the time was $559.99. Included was free shipping and a Canon USA warranty. the order was confired to me in an e-mail. On October 3rd I was told by a customer service person that the camera was out of stock unless I upgraded to a kit that contained a better battery and charger as the battery that was included by Canon is only good for a very limited amount of time. When I declined the upgrade my order was cancelled.
Avoid this vendor."
"BEWARE!!!. Do not shop with this company. I placed an order with them on June 16th, and cancelled it a week later. They charged my credit card before shipping, which they shouldn't do. After over ten calls to Bernard, still no refund. Today is Oct. 1st and still no refund. The charge is now in dispute with mastercard. Stay away from this seller."
"This is a great company with lots of cameras in their website for a great price. I got my order quickly with no issues."
"On Sept 7 I order online a Canon EOS7d digital camera. I chose Daily Deal Digital (DDD) because their price was very competitive. Since I have been leaving for three years to Ithaca (NY) and was going to be there for a meeting I asked to ship the package to t the University department where worked.
The day after I received an email telling that I needed to call them to confirm the order.
I did it and confirmed the order.
A few days later, since my order was not confirmed yet, I called them again. They offered a package with more accessories that I accepted. The amount was about 1900 USD. I told them to process the order only if they were able to deliver the item by Sept 16 since afterwards I was going to leave permanently to Canada. The agreed and told me that they would offer free overnight shipping.
Then I was asked to contact my bank to authorize the charge on my card. I did that and authorized my card to be charged up to 2.5 K (my limit is 1.5 K) only for 1 hour on Thu Sept 16th.
Since DDD did not get back after I authorized the charge I decided to cancel the order. So on Fri September 17th I emailed the company to cancel the order and I went to the bank to change my card limit to 500 dollars.
In the meanwhile I received an email from DDD asking to fax my ID and to fill a form to authorize charge (However the word file they sent was unreadable) on my card. I ignored the message and replied by saying I wanted to cancel the order. I never sent these documents to them but I still keep receiving this message.
Later on September 17th I received an emailed saying that my order was processed and was going to be shipped. During the weekend I asked again for cancellation. On Sept 20th I realized my credit card had been charged. According to the bank record the money was taken of Sept 20, when in principle my card limit was set to 500 USD.
Later on Monday 20th I called DDD again to cancel the order. A man (I do not know his name) told me hat the order was cancelled. No further action was needed and I was supposed to receive refund in 7 to 10 days.
Not finished yet. The day after I received the following message from the shipping department saying that they had no authority to cancel the order.
After a while I got a message saying that the order was shipped.
At this point I called the customer service. They said that the order cancellation did not go through, that the package was shipped and that if I wanted to cancel the order I needed to pay a restocking fee of 200 USD:
Not to lose too much time and money, I decided to order a less expensive item, a Nikon 90 D. An employee (Alex) told me no fees would apply to the order change and that they would ship the item to Canada (where I moved in the meanwhile). OInstead of the package I chose, they offered a more expensive package with more accessories that I accepted. They agreed to refund the difference. I asked for a detailed list of the items they were going to ship.
Today I still did not get any invoice and no item list.
I got only a message saying that the order has been shipped. After I complained again with them (today) they apologize telling that the package was late. So probably nothing has been shipped.
At this point I started to be a little suspicious about the company and I did what I should have done before placing the order: I looked at customers’ review on DDD on the website http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Daily_Deal_Digital.
Not surprisingly, I realized the company is rated about 1.5/10 against an average rating of 8.2/10. By Reading the reviews it seems almost all customers had problem with DDD. Apparently they have committed several frauds against customers by delivering items different than what the customers requested. It also seems they have a very bad Customer services.
At this point I sent them another letter asking for final order cancellation right but they still did not get back."
"I ordered a canon rebel xsi camera from daily deal digital online for $469.99 on 8/31/10, within 30-45 minutes I received an E-mail saying that I needed to call to confirm my order. When I called the salesman went into his sales mode and wanted to upgrade to the extended life battery, quick charger($69.99), 4gb error free card($59.99) that this camera worked better with,a camera bag($29.99),a lens filter kit($29.99) and the extended warranty($69.99) for a special total price of $649.99. It sounded reasonable so I upgraded. Within the next 30-45 minutes I decided to cancel the order so I called the salesman back and he canceled the order, the next day 9/1/10 I received an E-mail saying the order was cancelled.(thought everything was clear) 2 weeks later I received another E-mail on 9/16/10 saying the order had been shipped with the tracking number, I called the company to see what was going on and what were they shipping and told them I had cancelled and they E-mailed me the invoice.(the only invoice I ever received with the price being $649.99)
It had listed all the extra priced items.
The next day 9/17/10 the package is delivered at around 5:00p.m Friday afternoon. Monday morning 9/20/10 I call and tell them I wanted to return the package and needed a return number. They gave me the number after me explaining I did not want the package but they were going to charge $50.00 restocking fee. I told them that the package should have never left their shelf and I sent them the copy of their E-mail saying they cancelled, but they still were going to have to charge me. I decided to open the package being that I was not paying them to restock and thought I would just keep it, come to find in the box was the factory battery and charger, a regular 4gb card($12.99),a cheap lens filter(7.99) and an off brand bag(12.99) and nothing mentioning the extended warranty.
My card company is disputing the charges, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I am letting you know so you will not get ripped off from this company.

"Hello
My name is Eduardo from Mexico, recently bought a camera in a package whose value is 3600 dollars. At first the service was very good, but after the purchase everything change. They were rude, did not attend my emails and my calls, failed at all times. Finally, I received a completely different camera, of a much lower cost, They made a FRAUD for about 1700 dollars. I contacted a lawyers association based in New York, they follow these kind of cases of massive scale, they has a long experience solving similar cases will be able to repair the damage to all users. I have plenty of evidence to help prove that this is a fraud, because I have in my possession a bill on behalf of another company and with a much lower cost which proves economic fraud and service for which I was a victim. I am available ****@**** email so feel free to contact me and give me all the usefull information to get our cases solve. Do this together.
Excuse my English is very basic.
Eduardo."
