"I'm completely disgusted with www.dailydealdigital.com. I ordered a camera from them on a Saturday. On Monday, I got an email from them saying that I needed to call them to finish processing the order. I called in and waited for 30 minutes. Finally, I talk to someone who tried to sell me accessories to go along with my camera. I only added on the warrenty. The person then preceded to tell me that my order would be processed and that I should receive the camera in 5 to 10 business days. Fast forward to Sat. I receive a generic letter in the mail saying "we regret to inform you that the item you ordered from dailydealdigital.com was oversold" If that was the case..then why didn't the person tell me that on Monday when I called in.. why would you try to sell me accessories. Was it because I didn't buy anything else from them that my order was cancelled? If they had my email address, why would they send a generic letter to my home address? Because they waited 6 days to tell me that my order was cancelled, they ruined my opportunity to order the camera online because I wouldn't have gotten it before leaving for vacation. I'm a member of many social websites and forums and I will be letting everyone know how www.dailydealdigital.com screwed me over and to not use them for any reason. They are so not worth it. I'm not I'm not the only one that was screwed on this camera deal. www.nextag.com needs to take them off of their website. "
"Ordered Nikon D90 SLR + Nikkor 16-85mmVR + Nikkor 70-300mmVR lenses on-line. Confirmation caller tried to "up-sell" the battery plus lens accessories. Knew these were "cheap" and unnecessary so caller stopped his sales pitch, thanked me for the order, said confirmation of shipping would be sent. Nothing came other than original on-line order confirmation. Called once, e-mailed twice for shipping status. Eventally received form letter generally implying that they cannot sell items at their (DDD) site prices unless they are not oversold...if that makes any sense. Said I could re-order at the new/higher price...but better hurry! Reminds me of "Catch 22"...where you can see Major Major only when he is not in!
Do NOT believe this store site about quality/availability, even if you call!
Do NOT waste your time here...you will only be aggrivated and frustrated. There ARE honest low-cost retailers out there. Read ALL the user/customer reviews first!

It takes a long time to try to get a refund on returned items, and they do not fully repay the total cost or the costs of return shipping as they say they will. Repeated messages go unanswered. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEB-SITE or from any other websites owned by same individuals. Canon Camera Company stated to me that they have had many complaints about this dealer. I finally got a portion of my purchase price returned after a month of repeated attempts and the shipping cost was never refunded as promised. "I placed an order for a Canon G11 camera and found out that this company had no cameras and no relationship to purchase cameras. I was told at first that they were back ordered, but upon further questioning, found that they could not purchase the camera for a price that would give them a profit. My order of a Nikon D90 was placed June 11 and was later confirmed by phone. As expected before confirming, they tried offering lots of add-ons, after not availing any extra orders (batteries and warranties etc.)other than the package online, they said that the item I'm buying is not USA version and is not covered by Nikon USA, and offered me a Nikon "USA" for an extra 300 bucks!!?? This totally contradicts their website's add (check website) that items are brand new, factory sealed with 1 year Nikon USA Warranty.
I still proceeded with the order and they told me that I'll be receiving an e-mail for my confirmation number. It took almost 2 weeks and I did not receive any confirmation e-mail nor heard from them and when I e-mailed them for the status of my order, they replied saying that the item I'm buying is suddenly out of stock!!?? I checked back to their website, and they're still selling the same package on a higher price!$%^&**?? (NO WONDER IT'S OUT OF STOCK)
If that's not a bogus operation, please somebody tell me what is...

"This company is the worst company I've ever dealt with. They told me that they were also on "Jewish Holiday" and that my order would be processed soon. I waited almost an entire month and it never went through. I called over 20 times and emailed them and received no help. They tell you to go from one extension to the next; however, it is always the same person. IT IS A TOTAL SCAM AND WASTE OF TIME!!! Do not shop or support this company! "I read the reviews and took a chance anyway and have come to the conclusion that Daily Deal Digital is a corrupt organization. At 59 and a holder of a Credit Card for at least 36 years I have never had an over-charge from anyone except this Company. In the amount of $463.92!! Now how in hell does anyone overcharge unless they are thieves? And do not be taken in by "Positive Reviews" here… Probably co-conspirators? They charged my card 2 weeks ago and still after 3 weeks no camera. I just spoke with Bernard and the excuse is "Jewish Holiday"!! "I ordered a Canon camera body in mid-March and they said that it would be shipped in 3 days. This was really important as it was a birthday present for my brother. Instead, nothing was shipped, and the response was that it was a problem with their "merchant accounts" and that as soon as the transaction was cleared, they would ship it. I heard from them over and over again that it might take an additional two weeks, that's when they bothered to speak to me. Of course, they never shipped anything and I canceled the order. "Avoid these people! They advertise low prices and when you buy, they send you a generic email which says they have received your order. Then they call you to verify the order and at that point they try to sell you everything but the kitchen sink (battery packs, warranty, etc.) When you refuse the additional sales, they send you an email saying that "The next email you will receive will contain your approval status and estimated time of package arrival." and that’s the end of it. You will never receive any other email of communication. A true "bait and switch" site."
"I placed my order with DDD over two weeks ago and have not been able to get anyone to answer the phone or respond to my emails. When I call I get a message that says, "If you are hearing this message it's because you're calling after business hours" but I was calling during business hours! I emailed ****@**** on March 29, but no reply as of today, 4-5-10. Are they still in business? How can they be if no one answers the phone? I don't mind waiting to get a good deal if they would just TALK TO ME!! I noticed that the price for the item I ordered went up $60 on their web site just after I placed my order. I emailed them to ask if I would get the item for the price that was advertised the day I ordered. No reply...surprise surprise. Fortunately they have not debited my account yet.
