"After reading previous posts about this seller & against my better judgement, I proceeded to place an order for a Nikon D3000 solely because of the price advertised. Please know that if you choose to purchase from DDD, they are a retail store located in Florida and do not immediately process your internet order as would be expected. That isn't 100% clear at the time of purchase.
Four days after I placed my internet order, I received a call from a store associate, Bernard, who attempted to upsell me on items such as a battery, memory card & warranty. I choose not to purchase these items. He concluded the call stating that he has all of the information he needed and that the item would be shipped. Today when I checked my email I received a message stating that they were unable to bill my Visa through their credit card networks. They stated that they were awaiting to hear from their Visa/MC vendor to correct the problem. The message in the email asked if I watned to cancel the order or use another form of payment. I choose to cancel. After reading several other recent posts from people stating they received the same message, I have a strong inkling to believe that this company is advertising they accept major credit cards but does not want to use them as a form of payment due to the fees that they must pay.
I cannot imagine a problem that has gone on long enough (several weeks according to other posts)to preven them from allowing customers to use a credit card as a form of payment.
I will promptly be calling Visa to report this DDD for false advertising. I cannot imagine any problem preventing them from manually billing my credit card even if their machines are not working. If credit card payments are not a viable form of payment, it shoudl be removed from their website as an option.
At this point, I still want the product I attempted to purchase but I do not trust them with my checking information and will never do business with them again.
Buyer beware.

"It's a really mixed bag dealing with these guys. I first ordered a Nikon D90, I had to call back to get the order confirmation info sent to me. I then found out that they had a problem with their visa and master card account which they couldn't get corrected. After several days they suggested canceling the order which I did and to their credit they did send me a cancellation confirmation and I never did get a charge on my credit card. They sent me a $45 discount coupon toward a future order as an apology. I was looking for a lens for my camera that I bought elsewhere for less then I would have paid Daily Deal Digital. They had the lens I was looking for online for a price way below anywhere else I could find it. When I called they told me it was a mistake and gave me the real price. Bernard, the salesperson I have dealt with throughout told me he would ask the boss what was the absolute lowest they could give it to me for and get back to me. He didn't call and two days later I called and he still didn't have an answer and said he would call me back. He never called and I tried calling the company for about five days and no one ever answered the phone in sales or customer service. This company is pretty much out to lunch so in the final analysis I'd say deal with them at your own risk and time. "

"This is the worst company i ever made business; I do not want to make this mistake again in my life.

I ordered Nikon D90 and Nikon 18-200mm lens from this company. They told me that it will take a couple of day to ship the order. They did not do that. I called them after three day, they asked two days… I waited … I got an email that they are not able charge any of the major credit card, and they gave me option of wire transfer the money. I accepted it and they told me that i will receive an email that has procedure to do that…. I never get that…..i tried to call them almost every. There was no response….no reply for my voice message and no reply for my email too…….

I lost the hope on this company……finally I decided to cancel my order…. and did that also

I WILL NOT RECOMENT THIS COMPANY TO ANY ONE ……….

"AmEx has been working with me to get this guy "Bernard" to credit my account for the merchandise I returned back in November. He has still not done so. That may be one of the reasons DDD is not accepting AmEx cards.
This is my original complaint:
A better name for this company would be "Dewey Cheatam and Howe" (not to take anything away from Click and Clack). I requested and paid for 2nd day shipping. The order took 7 days to arrive. I ordered a top of the line lens costing over $1000 but a lesser quality lens, worth less than $500 was substituted and I was charged $1299.99. I was billed $279 for a memory card worth less than $30; $319 for a $60 battery; $279 for filters worth less than $25. There was no shipping order included. In short I was sold a bill of goods and am working with AmEx to get my money back after returning the junk. I strongly urge anyone reading this NOT to do business with this company.

"I received merchandise of an inferior and less expensive quality to that which I thought I was getting. After numerous emails and telephone calls during which I realized that this company was unscrupulous in their dealings, and not feeling comfortable enough with them to refund my purchase price should I return the merchandise, I accepted a reimbursement of $380 for my "troubles". Part of this reimbursement was that I amend my original complain with this outfit.

THEY NEVER SENT ME THE MONEY THEY PROMISED ME! This company CANNOT BE TRUSTED! If there are any of you that are considering purchasing from this outfit, please heed my warning.

"Used my new JVC to film my wedding and the Mrs. and I couldn't be happier. The Daily Deal team did a great job of steering us in the right direction. We never felt "oversold" the guided us to the right item for us. And the whole process was a breeze beginning to end. Plus they shipped UPS so I knew they took the shipping seriously!!"

"ordered a D90 with lens kit, website states to call for faster service, called was upsold a warranty/service package and extra longer life batteries, fine ok. Was told to be getting extra ugraded shipping and several better items, a-lot of wrong stuff has arrived and still no warraty paerwork which is to be mailed, box of stated new camera seem to be opened, wrong filter set for lens size, needed to called multiple times to gain resolve, still waiting for the warraty paperwork to arrive a couple of day short of a month later. Correct size filters for lens arrives and now I can fell good about using the camera but next time i would be better shopping locally or using a real dealer such as B&H Photo or the like. Bernard is very sincere on the phone and shows genuine concern and promises to rectifiy your issues but it has been over a 3 week period of calls and still waiting for final purchases to be correct. I would most likely shop elsewhere in the future, I learned my lesson. Nothing against Bernard but for the price paid and promises made it would have been easier to deal locally, not sure i really saved any money and the strees and incorrectness of the order concerns me, was the camera really new in the box? Who really knows at this point, $1500+ dollars for a D90 with a 18-105VR lens seems a bit high, but that was to include a 5 year warranty and service plan (pending) upgraded batteries x 2 and faster memory card which was backordered and filters (Wrong size for lens kit at first), did ship correct ones later date,/ hard case which still has yet to arrive, ect, ect. My vote is to avoid this dealer in the future."

"Very good communication and suggestions from Bernard, the salesman I dealt with, and am very pleased with my purchase. Items arrived in great condition and in a comparison, DDD had the lowest prices for the Nikon D90 camera and lens I bought. "I'll be back!" Excellent rating!!!"

"October 5:

Daily Deal Digital made every attempt to correct the transaction with them. I am quite impressed that their staff (Bernard) went out of his way to improve my experience with the company.

At the end, Daily Deal Digital pulled through and I am happy with the end result of the deal.

I purchased a Canon 5D with 18-200mm lens package for $1399. I spent a month searching for the best deal and seems like this is it. I called the store and spoke to Bernard- sounded very knowledgeable and helpful. For additional $280 he promised to add 2 extra 6-hr batteries, filters and 8gig memory card.

9/15/09: Package arrived. Noticed the immediately the packaging. The camera box it came with was the 50D+28-135mm box minus the 18-200mm. The lens was not in the original canon package, no lens manual. 1 bower filter kit (valued at $26.99), 8GB Transcend memory card (valued@ $21.45) and 1 extra Li-on battery (valued @$13.21). All extra items values based on amazon.com

9/17/09: Called Daily Digital and told them I did not received the items I was promised and for additional $280 I received goods valued at $61.65. I was told that the battery that came with the package box was part of the 2 batteries I purchased! I cannot believe I was hearing this.
I purchase cameras from other stores and this store really think that they can talk to customers this way.

9/21/09: Got a call from Daily Digital and was advised that I should not be comparing the Amazon pricing to the extras I received because it was a package. I understand they have to make a profit, but send me something worthwhile of the $1679 I paid. I was told by Bernard that he will look into it and that he will send a tripod and monopod instead. I said I was not keen on the tripod and monopod and asked them if they can send at least 1 6-hr battery as promised.

9/26/09- nothing happened, not heard from Daily Digital.

What I learned from this experience I was taken by Daily Digital.

"After talking with them extensively, I will alter my review (again):

The Brief is: I bought it, they didn't have it in stock, they raised the price (blaming a rebate mixup), I accept getting charged $400 more, They STILL don't ship the product. I cancel 20 days later. In this mess was a pile of calls back and forth and some long winded conversations about how they think this review is unfair.

Here are the details:

9/5/09 - Want Epson 6500UB projector. Google it, click on the lowest price one. It was from DailyDealDigital. It was posted for $2195. I have the screen capture if anyone cares. NO mention of a rebate or instant rebate or anything on THEIR website. I saw from the Epson website later it had a mail-in rebate of $400 and a free lamp. Yipee... a great deal for me.

Three days later: Get call saying they don't have it in stock. They wanted to know if I wanted to cancel my order because they didn't have a delivery date. "No, it's a good deal, lets give it a week, call me back when you can get it"

9/18/09 - Product still listed at that $2195 price and in stock. I write a bad review of them. I feel like I got taken.

9/21/09 - Daily deal digital calls me with a long explanation of how two things happened: 1) Their supplier didn't have them in stock at the time, but they are in stock now. 2) They listed it at the $2195 price because they thought Epson had an instant rebate that went to them and since they didn't, the actual price is now $2595. With much hesitation and 20 minutes of their lip service, I decide to fork up the EXTRA $400 to get it (yes, they asked for more money AFTER I bought it). They tell me they are going to call back to confirm everything. I did screen capture that day they had the price listed as $2495. They blamed some issue with NextTag and how they have to alter the price so NextTag will update theirs... I honestly don't care, I want the projector.
Their Input was that they contacted me on the 21st with the rebate info, the 18th was friday, assuming it was Thurs they would of contacted me on the 19th which is one business day later. THEIR EMAIL RESPONSE claimed they told me they followed up with a phone call and email on the 22nd. They still didn't SHIP the product.

today - 9/23/09 No sign of a projector in my future. I think they don't actually have them in stock. They told me they tried to call back on 23rd and 24th. My phone log shows someone calling and leaving no message from what I assume is from their area.

My review is they can take the order, talk like great salesmen, they have a bag full of excuses, but they just didn't deliver. So I say pass on this business. I requested cancellation on the 25th of September... which I ordered on the 5th.
For now, daily deal digital is STILL on my "DON'T BUY FROM" list.

And they did tell me how they felt they should be rated...
