"This was my first time to purchase from this online retailer. I felt un-easy about them from the beginning. I emailed them after 72 plus hours to find out why my order was still being processed. The next day I received an email. “We are sorry to say this item is on backorder We can ship as soon as the unit arrives, or we can cancel teh transaction Your credit card has not ben charged Wes also have several other Denon receivers in stock Please call us at 1-877-DAKMART ext 226 thanks" (I tried to call several times (Kevin ?)to re-order a deferent model but only got messages, they never returned my call. I just hope its just waisted time and they don’t charge my card (I will press charges). After doing Google search it appears they have had many complaints (Google dakmart complaints). It makes me wonder if some if not all of the reviews here are bogus. Purchased item (Denon receiver) elsewhere. Bad business practice's, waisted time, horrible customer service,many google complaints, merchant has all my credit info. wow! can you say red-flag

Received a call from Dakmart this morning advising product ordered (Denon AVR) are in stock and now available. The gentleman apologized for the inconvenience and offered a deal. He said he spoke with Kevin about the issue and asked if I would revise my resellers review. I have all ready ordered from another supplier since. My item has been delivered and set up days ago. If they had just called before now I wouldn’t have felt as if my purchase was just not important to them.

Dakmart.com sent item anyway even after canceling the item. I was totally shocked again by this companies business practices. Called Dakmart.com same day, they sent a return label and said UPS would pick it up. I don’t think UPS was ever notified so I took it to the shipper myself. I finally received credit for the returned item but not for original shipping charges of $36.59. Called Dakmart.com again and spoke to Diana she wanted my original email stating that I canceled the order. Another runaround. I forwarded her the original email cancelling the order. She replied she was unable or could not because she didn’t have the authority to do so. Diana with Dakmart said she would have Kevin the manager call me right back, well Kevin doesn’t get back to his customers from my experiences with him. So let’s just see what happens next.
