"I Placed an order October 4th for an item that appeared to be in stock. It would ship & arrive (according to their policies) within 10 days. Plenty of time for an Oct 22nd birthday. After 2.5 weeks, I began to worry. I emailed them asking where it was. They responded that this was a pre-order and that the site clearly said it was. I visited the site (& took screen shots). They later told me that it didn't show that it was a pre-order on the customer's end, and that the item would be available on November 20th. I decided it would be a Christmas gift, and scrambled to find a replacement birthday present. It didn't actually ship until November 28th. I asked for a shipping refund (which was a pricey $11+), which they refused, telling me that my reward was that I saved $ by purchasing it early. The item arrived on December 13th, more than 2 months after I ordered it. I strongly recommend against shopping at DasCheap. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. "

I emailed Das Cheap right away about the issue and they immediately sent me a new controller...no questions asked. I was always skeptical about buying items online. So I did my homework and researched. Das Cheap had wonderful reviews. And you know what? The reviews were right. Their website was extremely easy to navigate through. The customer service was informative, friendly and very professional.
I was able to track my package-my item was delivered when they said it would be it was in perfect condition. It turned out to be a fun experience.

"I agree with most of the sentiments already listed. DasCheap.com who claims to offer a "Does not suck guarantee," does in fact suck, big time. I ordered 2 video games, with free shipping as advertised on the site. The next day I checked the status of my order, this was a Saturday, and there was no shipping information. I thought nothing of it and moved on; perhaps they didn't have a chance to get the item shipped Friday. By the following Tuesday there was still no shipping information. I called, and emailed, and called finally I got to speak with someone. This person "Aaron" told me that he had personally processed my order and didn't know why it had not shipped. He said he would contact the "warehouse" and make sure it shipped. On Thursday, still no shipping information (though Aaron had told me not to expect the site to update this automatically as my items were a split shipment) so I called back in. The item had still not shipped. That afternoon (six days after the order was placed) it finally shipped out and arrived in the timeframe anticipated with "ground" service.

After I received my item I called back to customer service, lucky Aaron got to speak to me again, and complained about the poor service. I requested expedited shipping on the next item to make up for it. After a bit of arguing Aaron finally conceded and agreed to the quicker shipping. The game release date came, a Friday, and went no shipping information. I called on the following Monday, low and behold the item hadn't shipped.
I requested my order be cancelled, at which time I was told that I would be expected to cover the cost of the shipping for the previous item as now my total purchase didn't meet minimum requirements for free shipping. I refused.

Granted, at this point, I have received all monies owed to me, and Aaron deserves a gold star for his "I'm not running the show" attitude in dealing with me. DasCheap.com is awful; the savings on your item should be substantial as you will deal with a huge pile of crap to actually get what you ordered.

"I ordered a Christmas tree from Das Cheap 10/29/11 because they were the only place I could find that carried the one I wanted. My order status with them stayed on "pending" day after day after day. On the 10th of October I asked why, what was going on with my order. I got a reply quickly saying hey we don't know, will find out and let you know tomorrow. 4 days later I once again had to inquire ok now why am I not hearing back from you and on the original issue as well, what is going on? Only after basically threatening to cancel my order, did I get informed via email, that my order was currently in "out of stock" status. Ok so if I had never inquired, would I have even been told this? I asked that my order be cancelled. And incidently, my order status on the web site, is still pending. Lol. This is not the way a business, up and coming, or established, is going to keep customers. I know I won't hang around. "

"I placed an order on October 10 for a Halloween costume. It was 10 dollars cheaper than the next lowest place and I had read such "good reviews" about the site. Payment cleared instantly so I patiently waited for my "shipped" email. After 4 days of hearing nothing I emailed them about it. (a pleasant email.) Heard nothing so I started reading more reviews which scared the crap out of me. I sent another email 2 days later demanding to know the progress on my order. Nothing. The costume actually came on October 17th. A week later, which I was happy about. I got an email yesterday...on November 4 that my item had shipped...A little late arent we? I already have my order, so I dont care but their blatent lack of communication is a serious problem. "I looked all over for Felix the cat for NES and was not able to find it for a long time. But finally I found it on DasCheap! I placed my order and they shipped it out promptly. I had a problem with trying to get it shipped to a different address other than my billing address and they wouldn't allow this to go through. While it was a legitimate purchase I am glad they have high security measures to stop fraud. I had them ship it to my billing address since it was my parents house. The game works perfect and was in good condition. It's the only NES game I've gotten that came with the sleeve! "
