"Bottom line: I purchased this bed base based on false advertising. I thought it was defective and the company said they thought they could fix it, but couldn't. This week I got information and confirmation from the manufacturer that 4 features/specifications of this base were falsely advertised (3 of which were key factors in my decision to purchase). Despite selling me a bed base under false pretense, they are refusing to refund me unless I arrange and pay for the return myself which costs more than the bed base cost! I recommend avoiding this company!
At first I thought the bed base didn't do what it was/is advertised to do because it was defective. Now I have learned from the Manufacturer that my bed base doesn't work as advertised because the advertisement was wrong!
Four Features/Specifications that were/are Being Falsely Advertised by this Company (All 4 Confirmed by Manufacturer):
1-Bed base only inclines to 58 degrees (not 70-75 as advertised on Amazon or 78 on their website)
2-Remote doesn't have two presets and two programmable buttons (i.e. four separate buttons) as advertised (and the presets can't be double programmed which is what I was told the last time I brought up this discrepancy.)
3-Bed base motors aren't silent as advertised. Manufacturer agent, Harmony, described the motor volume as "loud, but not too loud." (Please note: Loud is subjective, but silent isn't and the manufacturer confirms the motors aren't silent.)
4-The full coverage warranty isn't 3 years long as advertised. It is only 1 year.
Some of the other downsides I’ve experienced related to the product or the customer service:
*It articulates extremely slowly compared to other adjustable bed frames.
*When I requested a refund because I thought the product was defective (not falsely advertised as I know now), customer service was really invested in getting problems fixed. They thought they knew what would fix the base, and promised a refund if the replacement part didn't fix the problems (which was the only way I'd try the new part). When part finally arrived and didn't fix the problems customer service told me I had already had my chance to return. (After 4 weeks they changed to say I could if I arrange and pay for the freight shipping which costs more than the bed base and was not an original return term.)
*I was told the part would arrive within 4 days, but it ended up taking over 3 months. I followed up many times. Customer service would respond, but never followed up with me and tried to hold the 3 months against me. I never would have agreed to wait more than a few weeks for a replacement part.
*They have continued to change and add return requirements since the original terms prior for me trying the part that was supposed to fix the "defect." (That turned out to not be working as advertised because the advertising was wrong.)
*My bed base only sits up to 45 degrees (which is defective because it should sit up to 58 degrees), but I thought it was defective and was supposed to sit to 70-75 degrees advertised. The seller offered to give me a part that isn't for my base to hopefully make the bed base sit up to 70+ degrees. They told me I'd have to install it myself. Doing this would void the warranty.
*I requested to talk with management. I was told I could. Called and was told I would be called back in 20 minutes by a manager, but never was. Called back the next time I was able to and was first told management wasn't available, but eventually I was told I wouldn't be allowed to talk to management and could only talk with that specific customer service agent because he had made a mistake in a response to me and is now responsible for all communication with me. I should be able to talk to a manager about problems with a $1000 purchase and especially after being told I could multiple days and times."

"Called up to try to find a replacement remote for my 20yo adjustable bed frame. Thought it was a long shot but the people at dealbeds sorted me out. I got a new memory core for my bed and a new remote. They talked me through how to install it and it works like it was new. "

Called the company and was told the order had already shipped. That blew me away.
Order arrived with fedex two days later. Bed frame was so easy to put together. I managed to reprogram my remote somehow too and the customer support team had me back to my factory settings in no time - I did have to wait on hold for a bit but they were really good and sorted me straight away. They were really patient talking me through the process and it turned out it was in the instruction manual all along!

The fabric of the adjustable bed base is damaged. iDealbeds did not take responsibility for the damage goods. I was on the phone with them, I even took pictures and sent the pictures to them. They ignored them. "

"I bought a queen size bed from this site last month. I immediately contacted the site saying there are many scratches and leather on one side of the rail ripped. Customer service agent said to send the photos of damaged items, I sent immediately. Then no response from the site, I called many times. Finally one agent said to mail the box photos to see whether it is fedex mistake to damage. I did send the photos. Then no response. Called the site again, then they said barcode on the box. Its been going on from several weeks. Tired of calling them. I never wrote a review in my life, but this time I am really upset and share my view to the public."
"They take your money, tell you the product will ship the next day, then a few days later they tell you the order is delayed. Upon order cancellation online, they immediately ( in less than 12 hours) call you and leave a Voicemail with no details asking to call them. Rather than call, given the next day shipping in a prior phone call (that turns out to be a tactic), I sent an email requesting all further correspondence is by email. Seven days later, they send an email informing me that the mattress is now in production and they cannot honor the cancellation and refund the money. They change their story to hold your money. Other reviews are consistent to my experience (to the extent that I question the validity of the 5-star reviews). This company is a big negative."

"I simply love this base, it has many features, the motor is whisper quiet, and the massage is a added bonus. I like the usb charging ports as well. Easy to setup, only downside is it is really heavy, need two people to lift.

"So let's see my initial order was suppose to come with 6 boxes. Only 4 boxes were delivered on September 7, 2021. I have contacted Dealbeds and spoke with a Kevin who was suppose to follow up with BWI terminal about the missing two boxea yesterday. The night stand is missing but part of the bed is missing as well. . Kevin did not follow up with me today about the BWI terminal status today like he said he would. Yes I disconnected the phone call with him yesterday because as a customer who spent almost $2,000 is getting the run around which is upsetting. No one can seem to find the two boxes no where. At this point come September 10, 2021 if I do not receive a follow up from Pilot Deliveries and a representative from Dealbeds a return policy is being initiated. I am so disgusted right now. If the nightstand was missing I could tolerated waiting for it. But part of the bed pieces are missing to is what's crazy to me. I do not have the total 6 boxes in my possession but 4 that are standing straight up against the wall in my bedroom. Dealbeds can have this partial order back I'm over it! Thats not how you treat a customer let alone someone who could have forward their website to peoe I know and spoke highly about the company if in fact the full transaction took place smoothly all the way to the delivery but it was not! I asked Kevin how do you accomdate me as the customer who spent $2,000 on a bedroom suite especially during COVID providing your company with a bm transaction when in fact alot of people are unemployed and seeking housing? By putting me on hold and doing nothing to fix the issue because the company is being cheap **** hell and do not want to send me the replacement parts? Guess what they can have the crap back I'm over it! Just do not try and make my return process hard because I have an attorney on standby if need to be if Deakbeds get to playing games with my $2,000. I should have continued looking for the bedroom suit within with DMV area at local furniture stores and waited to have it delivered I'm so disgusted right now. Fix the issue!!!"
