"Do not Do not order from this company. If it even is a company. I ordered a clarion m309 on June 12, 2010, and still have nothing. It started with them telling me two more days. Then it just kept going on and on. Then I asked for a refund and they said they did. Yet it has been 19 days since I didn't receive my refund. All I want is for no one else to get screwed so just save your money."

"Never buy from this store EVER! These people are scamers. Once you cancel your irder they never respond. So I filed with Internet Crime Complaint center. my next call is to my credit card company. the next call after that is to the company that prosses there credit cards. I promise one thing. I WILL NOT STOP. I WILL NOT FAIL, OR GIVE UP TILL I GET MY MONEY BACK! I really think that this company is ran by a kid in his basement with no product and a lot of time."

"Well, I have been ripped off as well. I bought a car stereo from them back in June. The total cost was $103.99. They sent me an email stating it would be shipped soon and that I would be getting a tracking number. They said if I don't receive a tracking number within 7 business days, to contact them. After 7 business days I contacted them and they said "That should ship shortly. The MP345U will be updated soon." I ordered the MP342U, not the MP345U. A few days later, still no tracking number. I emailed them again stating "If this order has not shipped, please cancel my order and refund my money for this item immediately." They then said " Just let us know what to do." I wrote "Please refund my money back to my credit card immediately. That is what I need you to do. Thank you." They write back "So if the MP345U can ship today, it wouldn't work? I said "No, I am afraid not. That is not even the reciever I am ordering. Please refund immediately. Thank you." They then wrote "Canceled."
I have yet to see a refund. I have since reported this to my Credit card issuer and I let Dealer Cost Car Audio know this has been done. However, they have decided not to respond to me any more and are not refunding my money.
WATCH OUT for these guys. I am amazed they can continue to operate like they do. They need to be closed down and investigated so we can get our money back and so they cannot continue to take people's money.

"WHAT A SCAM!

I don't have anything to say that hasn't already been said!

They charged my account over $300, and have just been jerking me around ever since. These guys are lucky I don't live near their headquarters, or I would be down there in person waiting for my refund!

DCCA are a bunch of lying crooks!

"I ordered a SONY CDXM60UI for my pontoon boat on May 19, 2010. My credit card was charged on that date. I sent an email on June 1, after calling and waiting on hold using their automated calling system for over 1 hour. I was told the order status would update in 1-2 days. Then on June 11, I sent another inquiry email. To which they replied: "This is still backordered until next week.". To make this short, I canceled my order on July 14 and immediately ordered it from Pacificstereo.com The unit shipped from them the same day!

Do not buy from dealercostcaraudio.com!

"WARNING WARNING WARNING!!! Do NOT buy anything from this site! All these bad reviews are correct!! Only wished I had seen them sooner! Ordered from them May 30th and the $411 was taken immediantly from my bank account! (Which, by the way, should not be taken until they actually ship your stuff!) Weeks went by, nothing...email game started. Me sending messages and them either ignoring them or send two word answers like "on backorder" or "two days". They sent the "two days" message two weeks ago, by the way. NO traking number, no merchandise, no refund! I have sent them several emails stating that I want my money refunded. They are not only crooks but apparently stupid, because I got a response this morning that said, "Tell us what to do"....Ummmmm...ok....GIVE ME BACK THE $411 YOU STOLE FROM ME! I am appalled that this company is still running and ripping people off left and right. They messed with the wrong lady this time! I will blast them on ever review web site possible, hire a lawyer, report to better business bureau....EVERYTHING I CAN DO! If anyone else has class action lawsuits going then please let me know. I will join you in shutting these theives down and putting them in prison where they belong!

Update 7-15-10:
They emailed me after they read my review and boldly asked me to take this review off... my answer was NO...GIVE ME THE $411 YOU STOLE FROM ME AND I WILL EDIT IT IN ACCORDANCE!! Why do they even bother reading and caring about reviews when they are such a horrible company in the first place??? Weird!

"This is the worst website on the internet for buying car audio equipment.They have 1 honest sale for every 10 people they rip off,I ordered 2 subs and an amplifier which were broken when I received them, and they lied and said they would refund me,but months went by and no refund,they also lie about the items they have in stock,THEY HAVE NOTHING.Believe the other bad reviews because they're absolutely 100% true,THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM,please don't buy here,you can find better places,this website should be taken off the web so we don't get ripped off during this horrible economy.

"I ordered from these guys back in march. KI was told that the item was on back order i was ok with it at first. They told me it would take 2-3 days before item would shipped. It is now july 12 and i still haven not recieved my item and i want a refund and stiull have not gotten a refund. I just keep getting littel responses and can never get a hold of any one on the phone. I justed emailed them and if i dont recieve my money or a product by the next two day i will be filing a lawsuit and reporting them to the bbb and internet fraud. The wotsy customer service i have ever had and i will never order from them again. I will also be post and every website i can not to order from these people in their lifetime horriable service. "

"To begin, I need to say that I've never written an on-line review and especially a negative review in my life. I'm a youth pastor and try to believe the best in people and situations. Unfortunately, I've been duped by Dealer Cost. This was such a HORRIBLE experience that I had to document it for others. NEVER order from this company, even if they have a cheaper price on an item you like; you'll pay quadrupple the savings on hassel and heartache, you probably will not get your merchandise and may never see your money again either. I placed an order 2 months ago, had 20 email correspondences back and forth, literally waited on the phone on hold for over 30 hours (not exaggerating)--you'll do a lot to get nearly $500 back when you're a missionary, and still have not received any refund from this horrible company.
They will tell you it's on backorder, may even offer you a free upgrade, which will itself be on back-order, and after stringing you along for over a month will finally cancel your order and will not issue a refund. I've seen several others on-line have had to contact the FBI and District Attorney in California. I hope I don't have to go thru that hassel too, I've already spent too much time on this company's poor business practices. Please be warned and never order from Dealer Cost. I actually ordered my items from another on-line retailer a month ago, and literally received my items in 2 days with free shipping.

"People...call your credit card companies. That's how my son finally got his money back from these dirt bags. Also contact the California State Attorney General. They will tell you that it's out of their jurisdiction, but don't let it go. They finally opened a claim for me against this company. Don't stop!!!! "I placed an order, and very much like all the below reviews, I did not receive my order in the time specified on the website and was never given a clear answer as to the delay. I sent many emails to Customer Service and got the same ambiguous answer every time, "2-3 business days we are hoping it will ship". I asked many times why my order was being delayed with no answer. Calling and trying to talk to someone was a total waste of time; I never got through after 3 hours and found out that if you wait on hold, after 60 minutes you are "exited" from the phone system; how convenient. After reading numerous bad reviews online and waiting 11 business days for my order to ship I emailed and said that I wanted my order within 2-3 business days or I would report them to the BBB. Without notice they canceled my order. A reputable company would try to resolve the issue, but a fraudulent company would most likely try to cut all ties with an unhappy customer. I'll let you make the judgment here. "
