"I put item in my cart. Went through whole process and paid by visa. 10 minutes later get email that order was cancelled. No reason given. Checked website and could not find item listing anymore. Charge still pending on my VISA so they charge the card asap.

"I thought that I would give this place a chance and put through a few pre-orders on some Banpresto figures during some site wide sales as the prices were pretty appealing and shipping seemed very reasonable as well... But that was the end of the good news.
I tried email correspondence and phone correspondence with their customer service multiple times and I can't express how horrible their service is. First, they barely can understand what you are asking, and I have been told different things multiple times. They have cancelled the wrong orders or items. They have cancelled orders when I was just asking about something else. It took 4 email's to get an answer on what shipping service they use, and was only answered when I sent an email with 6 words in BOLD underlined with nothing else... "What shipping carrier do you use?"... for some reason, if you send them a properly written email, they don't read any of it but the first 3 words or so it appears. To answer that if you are wondering, I was told USPS or UPS depending on the time.
Also, their Order status page and information is the worst I have ever seen. There is next to no information or notification on order status.
All it took was one email with AmiAmi and Tokoyo Otaku Mode (TOM) to realize what GOOD customer service is... both of those places have service that is a million times better and I have decided to deal with TOM here on out. Sure they have a subscription deal but the free shipping and discounts are so much better.. and their service is amazing. Never again Deep Discount... so extremely bad service. Don't be tempted by the prices... I doubt they would even full fill most pre-orders from what I experienced."
"I looked at other reviews and gave deep discount a chance because they had a bundle with some pre order items i had wanted. I reached out to customer support several times long prior to release of all bundled items to confirm availability and shipment. Today, was the release date for the last item in the bundle and upon contacting their customer support i was notified that the item is back-ordered. The item back ordered in the bundle released last week on 3/13/20, i was not notified of this back order after contacting their customer support, and was advised that all items would be shipping together as intended.
This is an unacceptable business practiced. They would not have even notified me if i didn't pro-actively reach out that the product is now back ordered. As a result of their negligence i will now have virtually 0 opportunity to purchase the intended products.
Avoid this sham business at all costs."
"I won't bore you with the details of my 7-month saga but in short: DVD was ordered and delivered but wouldn't play due to a country code error. I contacted Deep Discount who advised I return the disc for a full refund and provided a mailing label. As added security, I included a printed copy of the e-mailed receipt. They are insisting that the DVD never arrived and therefore cannot process a refund. Needless to say, I won't be using Deep Discount ever again. "

"I ordered a CD box set. Deep Discount used flimsy packaging and the box set was damaged during shipment. I returned the damaged item. USPS tracking number shows Deep Discount received the return, but they never acknowledged receiving it nor did they refund my money. "So I ordered 13 Funko pops from them, all showing in stock. They shipped 11 of the 13 and did not send me an email or a phone call about the other 2. I waited 2 weeks and still nothing. No refund no product, no email. I then ordered 13 more items from them, also Funko pops. I got the ship notification that only 8 were shipping. So I called them. Was told on the first order, which is now a month after placing it, the last 2 items are out of stock. I told them they still have them as in stock on the web site. He said he couldn't control that but would issue me a refund for the two items. I said to them "so you take my order and ship a partial to me. You don't notify me of the out of stock items and you do not automatically issue refunds for items not shipped. Is that any way yo run a company?" He said he was sorry and would issue the refund and I would get it in 3 days. So then I ask about the second order and again told 5 f the 13 items are out of stock. He will issue a refund for them as well.
So my question is, if I had not called them, would they have just kept my money for the canceled items? Looks like that is there policy. no automatic refunds for canceled items, you must call and beg them to send your money back.
Definately not ordering with tehm again. Should never have placed the second order. BEWARE of them."
"I ordered “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” on Blu-ray for $26.55 CAD from Walmart’s website 07NOV and it arrived about a month later. It was the proper packaging but not a Blu-ray. It was a coffee & cream coloured plastic see-through disc with the movie and Blu-ray logos on it. Very weird. I contacted Walmart and their 3rd party supplier (DeepDiscount). Walmart responded quickly stating to contact DeepDiscount, DeepDiscount did not respond for about a week. I returned the disc 11DEC with the proper form stating the reason but could not use the prepaid USPS bar code as I was returning it from Canada. I returned it using the 2nd cheapest rate and cheapest rate ($14.39 CAD) that included a tracking number as I did not have much faith in DeepDiscount given my experience to date. Good thing too as DeepDiscount initially stated it had not been received despite the tracking number showing it had. DeepDiscount stated the postage rate I paid would not be included in the refund but their estimate of the cheapest rate would be refunded, approx. half of what I paid. Not happy but ok. Approx. 2 weeks later Walmart emailed me stating only the purchase price was to be refunded and it was on 24DEC. I emailed DeepDiscount asking for them to refund the cheaper return postage as per their previous email but it never happened. I decided not to waste further time on these guys. Approx. 3 weeks later on 13JAN Walmart emailed me stating they have not heard from me regarding a final response. I replied they refunded the original cost so should know issue is closed. I spent $41 including the return postage, was refunded $27 so am out-of-pocket $14 to Walmart, one of the biggest companies in the USA, and their 3rd party supplier. This was the worst online purchase ever, every step had problems, I’ll never again use Walmart or DeepDiscount, they are NOT recommended, 1 out of 5 stars only because 0 stars is not possible."
"Most of the reviews for Deep Discount are negative. I, however, had a great experience on two occasions. During Black Friday, Deep Discount had a sale on specific DVD's I was wanting. The discounted price was more than half off other retailers. I purchased these DVD's and selected free shipping which I knew would take longer than regular shipping because of media mail. I received timely e-mails as well as my package in a reasonable time. I also had another opportunity to purchase other DVD's at by one get one free. These DVD's again were better priced that other retailers even before the buy one get one free offer. I had a very positive transaction and would not hesitate to order from them again."

"This is a **** website. I ordered 5 playstations 2 days ago and the order was canceled because there is no instock. However they refund me only the value of the items but no the shipping fee. So they keep the shipping fee for not shipping your items!!! ridiculous!!! so I email them but my email got ignored totally. **** customer service.
