do not buy from this merchant

"Ridiculous.... placed an order on the 16th it is now the 25th, at first it showed estimate delivery date the 22nd than it moved to the 23rd and now it's just blank. Tracking number now says pre-shipping I've emailed the company 2 days ago and no response.... I just called customer service and she informs me that they don't use USPS however I have a USPS tracking number but she was unable to provide a tracking number for the company they use all she said I should be receiving my item sometime around the 30th... and I'm still not for certain I will get it on the 30th. Unbelievable!! I will return this purchase immediately and never order from this store again."

Old, used or counterfeit products? Broken Seal.

"I recently went to a spa and was introduced to a Naturopathica peel during a half hour facial treatment. I walked out with a super clean tingly and nicely blushed face. :-) Anyway, right at the spa I decided to buy the peel despite the steep price considering the (at the time only anticipated/hoped for results). I used the peel a few times in the next few weeks and was convinced enough so I decided to give a couple more products a try. I came across Dermstore and it looked legitimate enough to order there. Very excited when the products arrived only a few days later! To my extreme dismay one of the seals was broken and a considerable amount of the product had leaked all over the package. Considering the price point and that Naturopathica apparently has a good reputation that was the first thing that made me suspicious. Next, I noticed that the lot numbers on the products were in entirely different formats, print and size. Odd. Next, I noticed that the blue color of the newly ordered containers was lighter than the container I had purchased at the spa. Further, the stickers on the container were placed slightly differently than the original and the brand name was in slightly differently sized font. Not sure if this means they are simply old or returned products or are counterfeit, but I won't purchase again at Dermstore. My skin is too important to take the risk. The company is supposedly owned by Target which makes it even worse."

Charges you for items that never arrive!

"100% incompetent. Customer service is equally disorganized, unhelpful and gives you the runaround. I receive a shipment with 1 out of 6 items in my order but I'm charged already for the full order. My missing items that I ordered never arrived. Kept telling me that its on the way but customer service was unable to provide me tracking or shipping details. Told me to wait another 2 weeks for a total of 1 month now and then blamed the delay on the type of items I ordered. Nope, if they had sent the correct items to begin with, there wouldn't be a delay to begin with! The discounts are not worth the headaches and amount of time you waste trying to track down your order. Buyer beware! They are happy to take your money and that's it. They don't care if you get your order or not and will in fact blame any issue on you as a customer. "

Take your money and don’t send products

"Disorganized mess. Email and phone center do not communicate. Told me an item was back ordered when it wasn’t. Then shipped it then double charged me for it. Insane. Will never shop here again. Go to Sephora or absolutely anywhere else. Not worth the amount of time on the phone with customer service — they can keep that 20% discount along with everything else."

THIS WEBSITE IS A FRAUD!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

"I purchased a skin ceutical set a week ago, and when I check on my order again, it shows no order history. I freaked out, and called customer service, after I gave my information to the lady, she told me there is no order history for me. But the they CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD!!!
This is my first and LAST time with dermstore.
If this is how they make money, STAY AWAY!!!!

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ITEMS

"There was a missing item in my shipment! This was very disappointing for my "first" order with DERMSTORE! I didnt receive a phone call nor an email regarding this error. When I call the customer service the girl tells me that the item is "out of stock" and only can do a refund at this point! First of all, there should not be a missing item in the shipment. Second, if it was "OUT OF STOCK" someone should have communicated with the matter. This is an "ONLINE STORE" where they should take responsibility with issues like such, this online store does not have integrity NOR take their customer seriously! "

One month later and still waiting for products!

"I ordered 3 SkinCeuticals products through this organization on March 30th and one month later, today, I still DO NOT have my products they claim are on back order NOR have I gotten any updates at all. Not a good experience at all for 300.00 worth of merchandise. "

Won't issue a full refund for faulty products!

"Received 2 faulty products and a lot of hassle trying to get a refund. They offer "free" returns if you accept a store credit instead of a refund. Not wanting to pay to ship back a bad product, I opted for the store credit for Jane Iredale foundation that was separated and would not blend. I used the credit to purchase Leonor Greyl shampoo that was not the same color, texture, or scent as the exact same bottle purchased from Leonor Greyl directly. I received a fraction of a refund, but was re-issued another gift card for the same amount as the original one for the foundation. I don't want to keep getting store credits for faulty products that I can either lose money on shipping them back, or keep getting a store credit for more garbage product. - Buy directly from the manufacturers and save yourself some stress."

This company is a FRAUD. They will charge your card without your permission and without informing you.

"Worst ever shopping experience. I have opted for their free magazine subscription multiple times. Never a magazine arrived at my doorstep even after 8 months.

Even when you cancel your order, they will send an email saying order is cancelled. But a week later they will process your card for payment and won;t let you know about it until shipment is out of their premises. No order confirmation email , nothing.

And when you call their customer care number wait hours on the phone, they will give you a return label which will only give you store credit.

THIS COMPANY IS A BIG FRAUD. STAY AWAY.

Online Chat Function?...Don't Hold Your Breath!

"Today I visited the website looking to purchase an eye treatment for mature skin that did not contain retinol or any product like it. Cost was no object. Overwhelmed by the vast product selection I clicked on the online chat function hoping for a recommendation. I entered my query and got back a message that someone would be with me within 5 minutes. Fine. After close to 15 minutes an online customer service person came on and sent a message asking if I was still there. I tried to type "Yes"...but there was no place to type a response. There was no open space. There was no link. There was no way to have an online conversation. And so, I went to Sephora's website, the very last place I wanted to go. And just now I've learned that Dermstore is owned by Target, a company I'd want to shop less than shop Sephora! Never, ever again."

Poor experience

"The product came opened and now they refuse to leave me alone with their marketing attempts. I have requested many times to be removed from email and marketing lists but continue to receive marketing/emails from dermstore regularly. Avoid if at all possible- thanks."

Ridiculous

"Want to return an item.......on hold for 20 mins. 3-4 days in a row, as the "beauty experts" are busy with other customers... Really? Then I go on live chat to return the damaged item.........."3 minute wait as another customer is being helped" I don't think so unless someone is doing this job inside her/his house and they do this part time...."
