I'm also a writer myself -- with 12 published books (both traditionally published and self-published) -- a fact I mention as neither boast, nor bombast, nor bluster, nor the boredom of bragging rights, but purely to emphasize the fact that I've used pretty much all the services out there.

One should be aware that DiggyPod does have steeper upfront costs than, for example, Book Patch, Ingram-Spark, Amazon, Lulu, Blurb (et cetera), and those initial upfront costs DO at first strike you as a little exorbitant, and perhaps off-putting.
