"This is not one of those glowing five star reviews which DinoDirect gives their customers $6.00 for putting here.

First I want to say that I've bought a lot of stuff from DinoDirect and I've never been disappointed, with one exception. I ordered an IP security camera from them in mid-December 2012. I didn't receive it until two months later, thanks to China Post's incredibly slow service.

This camera with no brand on it had faulty automatic brightness control. Sometimes it was OK but most of the time it was useless. DinoDirect got me to send them a video showing its fault, which I did. They asked me to find out the cost of shipping it back to them, and I did that too.

After many emails back and forth, they gave me a gift card worth about the same as the camera. I used the card to order another cheaper IP camera (and they didn't give me any change back). It was held up for weeks but eventually DinoDirect sent one to me.

This no-brand camera was OK when it was first powered up but after a short time it stopped sending a picture and disconnected from the network whenever I tried to send it a command. It was useless too.

By this time it was FOUR MONTHS since I first ordered an IP camera from them and I still didn't have one which worked properly. I wasted huge amounts of my time with emails, making another video to prove that this camera was faulty too, and going to the post office again to find out how much it would cost to ship it back to DinoDirect.

Finally DinoDirect put a smaller amount than I originally paid in my DinoWallet as my 'refund'. They had no interest in all my time their rubbish IP cameras wasted, or the inconvenience to me.

The bottom line is: do NOT buy a cheap IP camera from DinoDirect. Pay a few dollars extra and buy one with a brand on it from a local reputable company like I finally did."
