The one issue I had a couple of years ago was resolved (bad packing resulting in unusable lens)immediately and they actually overnighted the replacement order. "I've been ordering contact lenses from DCL for 4 years and have never had a problem. They have great prices, selection, a nice website, streamlined ordering process, great shipping costs, great packaging, and they ship via usps (which is a must for cross border shopping). The only problem you'll ever have is if you're a canadian like me, and you choose the slowest/cheaper shipping options, customs may delay the shipment a while, but it doesn't happen every time and this is not a problem of either DCL or the shipping companies, it is our lousy government. Of course you could circumvent this problem a little by paying extra for express shipping which tends to get things across the border a little quicker. "

"I wanted to try a discount contact lens site after my optometrist tried to charge me $70 a box for AirOptix brand lenses, which I think is because he pushes J&J lenses.
Now while discountcontactlenses.com (DCL.com) was not the cheapest price i found, they were somewhere between the cheapest pricing online and the price my local optometrist charged. After reading some reviews on the cheaper sites, DCL.com seemed more trustworthy than the cheaper sites.
I placed my order on the 24th of September. I scanned my prescription and emailed it as a PDF right after I placed my order. Now one of my eyes is astigmatism and they had to order that lens. So by Sept 30th my order was fulfilled and shipped. I then received it exactly as expected a few days after that. Total less than two weeks turn around and free shipping. Which i thought was great and was in no hurry.
I imagine if you don’t have astigmatism and they have your lenses in-stock you can expect even quicker turn around. Would recommend, would order again!

"I've recently been having problems with my contacts so decided to go with daily wear contacts. Just the thought of throwing away contacts every day had my wallet jumping out of my pocket to begin with. After checking out the prices I realized it wasn't that bad and started price checking different store. All of the other stores were either more expensive or got really bad reviews. Discount Contact Lenses was the exception... good reviews and prices.
I placed the order late at night and immediately emailed a scanned copy of my prescription. They provide easy to follow directions so that was a breeze. The next morning I received an email saying that it was pending a copy of the prescription, which I sent the evening before. So I followed up with a call and pointed them to the email. Once the prescription was confirmed she said it would be mailed out later in the day, which it was. I ordered it with expedited shipping and received it in 2 days. Everything was as ordered and I couldn't be happier.
