DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DISCOUNT RAMPS!!!

"I researched the Cruiser lift, took the info to my mechanic. He said it looked pretty simple. I ordered it and when it arrived My mechanic could not find a way to make it work safely. Tried to send it back unused they said no, tried to swap it for a lift for the bed of my truck so I could still take it with me they said no. Very rude and unsympathetic. Cost me $7k for the worthless pile of metal I now have. I wouldn't buy a pencil from these people."

"They advertise that they have a 30 day return policy but they will not accept the package when you ship it back to them causing it to be then lost in the mail. "

I would not buy this Lucky Dog Pet Trailer Again from Discount Ramps

"I purchased the Lucky Dog pet trailer in April, 2020. I was delighted with the trailer and its operation. In November, 2020, the wheel bearings fell apart and the trailer became unusable. I contacted Discount Ramps to see about replacement parts. They said they do not have replacement parts and basically told me to go find someone else to fix the wheel. I asked them to check their records to confirm my purchase, as the trailer had a 1-Year warranty. Of course, they had no record of my purchase. I have been to bike shops, repair shops, and even to bearing manufacturers in China. Nobody has bearings that can be used to fix this wheel. Don't let the price fool you. Once the product goes bad, you are on your own. Never again...Stay away from this product and from Discount Ramps!"

Non Responsive

"Product came beat to heck...reached out multiple times and zero response. I waited and tried a couple times, I used an email that worked earlier (shipping was delayed and came in multiple packages). So I have a beat up product (literally dented and scratched) that will be a rusty mess later this year. Do I install it on the vehicle and "get to work" do I wait?

Not at all impressed.

Tried to leave review on their form and magically, it won't take a negative review. and when you look at their site, only 5 star reviews. VERY INTERESTING!

"Received my ladder racks with the bolts and nuts scattered throughout the box from USPS. Called sales with limited wait time and transferred me to CS. Nuts and bolts replace, shipped no question ask. Great Service. "

Would give -1 if I could

"Would never recommend purchasing from this website. I ordered an universal roof rack for my 2014 Camry. Got charged $20 for shipping (item price 49.99). Item does not work as much as I try to tighten it to the roof it keeps sliding. Instructions are not vehicle specific. And most importantly, return policy is ridiculous: no refund on shipping, and they charge you 15% off the item price. Horrible business policies and thats why people keep ordering from Amazon. Tried to give them a chance, but they showed just how bad this business values customers."

Lying lazy sketchballs

"Website lies. Says parts are in stock when they aren't apparently. Wouldn't be such a deal but when they contacted me about the parts not being available I was told 3-5 days to get my refund back. Also when I was told it wasn't in stock I pulled up the website & confirmed that it says in stock. The lady insisted it didn't & sent me a screenshot after she changed it to being out of stock attempting to call me a lair. I had the page up on the screen while talking to her. It said in stock & a timer counting down till a sale on them ends. I refreshed the page many times while on the phone with her not seeing it being out stock until after our phone call. Sketchy. I suggested being their fault could they expedite the refund instead of the wait cause what's that all about? At my business when I reverse a transaction it instantly goes back into their account. This company puts timed sales on items to gather a bunch of sales of a item they don't even have then it takes a week to dish the refunds back. Seems like they run a timed sale when they just need to borrow some quick cash from customers. Cause seriously what excuse is possible to not issue a instant refund? You took my money. Just reverse the transaction. Give it back. This is a instant transaction. UNLESS YOU NEED TO BORROW MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS FOR A FEW DAYS.."

Wheelchair lift

"I have been buying products for a couple of years. The quality of product is outstanding. I had to buy the one that will handle 470 lbs. The second one I bought was aluminum not good for a 470 lb scooter. I bought another one for 500 lb and metal, plus has a longer ramp. These roads here in Austin is ridicules, potholes deluxe, with the scooter on back bouncing everywhere made the main shaft break at the pivoting point. I called the company up and asked if under warranty, they wanted a picture of it and said it is. I told them, just the shaft that pivots, not the whole lift. They sent me the product they said 3-5 days, it took 4, and I got the right part. They worked hard on this matter of getting things done. The only bad thing about the company is that they have a bad connection always having static.

A big thanks to everybody at Discount Ramps.

A repeat customer for a reason

"Discount ramps shipped right on time as I was replacing a ramp that was getting old after way more than 10 years of constant use. The old ramp was a faithful tool but it was time to retire it with a new one.
Discount ramps was right there the first time I purchased and still around to answer questions years later when I needed. When I had an issue (that was unique to my order and not a normal problem) they stood behind their product 100 percent. I recommend this company highly

Excellent Customer Service

"I had a problem with the pieces I could not put together and the fact I no longer needed a ramp so they refunded my Amazon and told me to give it to someone who needs it. What a wonderful policy! I really thought I'd have to pay return shipping. I will definitely use them again whenever it comes to my needing a ramp, knowing a handyman can put it together."

"IMPORTANT FYI:

ME: "Hello - The order WEBN00XXXXX was last night and I was told it would be next day delivery. This is not the case.

I would like a refund please...

CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE (a bunch of red tape that was mis advertised):

"Good Afternoon, This order was placed last night at 9:15PM. Orders ship same day when placed before 3PM Central time. FedEx and other carriers do run during business hours, and there is no possible way this would have shipped after 9:15PM last night.

This is shipping next day air as you requested. We will not be refunding the next day air as we are shipping it next day air.

Thank you for your order, we appreciate your business. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance."

Horrible

"---Do not buy from this company---
I purchased an item over Labor day with their 15% discount (see attached pic). Immediately afterward my credit card is charged the full amount. In asking why I did not get the labor day discount? They said my purchase was on a sale item and not eligible for the discount. I responded by sending a copy of their web site stating “discount on any order/no minimum”. Their sarcastic response was to dig up some verbiage buried in their web site in 6 pt font that states something to do with my purchase being ineligible. I think this defines horrible customer service. All orders means “All orders.” I have opened an Better Business Bureau complaint on this horrible company to ensure their fraudulent behavior gets accounted for properly.

Shady Company

"Brought a ramp in October 2018 for my mobility scooter. Assembled and used for the first time on Thanksgiving week. On my trip the ramp leaned terribly to one side with the weight of the scooter. Every driveway caused the ramp to scrape. Mind you I bought the 450lbs ramp for my 168lb scooter. Called immediately after my trip to resolve the leaning issue to a customer service who doesn’t care. They wanted pictures, which I furnished and it took several months to get a half **** answer back. Bottom line is they took my $480. dollars and they don’t care because my allotted time to return for refund expired! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!"

Black widow motorcycle lift

"Product surface was terrible. Scratches scuffs, paint Was worn all the way through to bare metal in mult locations Wheel vise was not completely painted. I had a dent in the side. The welds are crappy , Crating was minimal To be shipped via truck. I sent a email with video and discount ramps never contacted me about the poor Quality of their product. Better quality lifts out there I wish I would have made a different choice. "
