"If you are looking for a company that makes excellent glasses & provides outstanding service, then your at the wrong place.
You could see better through a broken glass bottom than the lenses they provide. The prescription they filled was so far off & they blamed me. My eye Dr had to check the lenses & I had to return glasses back to Dreamshades. They do not answer their phone or their so called live chat on their website, Cant talk with a person at all . They lied to me a number of times. Don't waste your time or money with this so called company.."
"DreamShades.com have low prices but at the cost of customer service and communication. Although I received my product, the road there spanned a month just to process the order. Here's my account of it.
Placed an order in the second week June, expecting it to arrive at latest in two weeks. This was just a pair of sunglasses as a gift. There was nothing special about it. Credit card had a pending charge. Near the two weeks period, I found out it was out of stock. They didn't send and email or alerted me in anyway sooner. I had to email them to find this out. I only emailed because I realized I didn't have shipping information. (Out of sight, out of mind.)
In the email, they me asked me what I wanted to do. What does that means? They gave me no options. They didn't tell me when they expect more, if any, and they never told me if there was a process to reverse the changes or anything. Just asked me what to do. They also didn't tell me that my order didn't actually get charged. I had to find out from my credit card company that the pending charge didn't go through.
I inquired when they would get more. I never heard anything from them. A week later I asked for another update. All of a sudden they changed my order to "In progress" and told me it's ready for shipment soon. It didn't ship until a week after that. Just received it the other day. It took a month for the order and then a week to ship.
I don't think I'd be so upset with DreamShades.com if they could communicate and have a business process for conditions such as out of stock and when they are restocked, both in the system when you order and from the customer service. However they don't. They don't have a process for communicating at all. If they did, things would be simple and it wouldn't get a poor profiling."

Never got any message indicating order could not be filled nor was the order status updated online to indicate that it had been cancelled due to the item being unavailable. After two weeks I contacted the company to find out what the status was only to get a terse reply that the order couldn't be filled as the order had been discontinued and that I should know that as I had been notified via an email message that the order couldn't be filled. The only message I got from the company was a standard confirmation message indicating the the order had been recieved and was in process.
I won't be attempting to do any further business with this company after reading the reviews of others and finding the poor BBB rating, my problems were minor. "

"I bought a pair of Ray-Ban RB5121 glasses from them and I am a very active online shopper. Dreamshades is the WORST, and I mean WORST company that I have EVER dealt with. After purchasing the pair of glasses, they proceeded to tell me it was on backorder with no pre-warning. I then asked them to change my order to a different color of the SAME pair of glasses so I wouldn't have to wait for the backorder. The sales representative kindly changed my order, but when I checked my bank statement, they charged me twice. My first, ultimate total came up to $77(coupon codes lowered the price), yet there was also another pending charge of $99. I asked the sales representative about this and she kindly apologized and told me she would fix the issue. I wait it about two days and check my bank statement to see both pending charges gone. I wait about a full week to see if there would be any further action with my credit card and there were none, so I proceeded to email them to cancel my order to which they IGNORED. After a couple of days I check my bank statement yet again to see an existing charge of $99, not pending, but actually charged. They basically ignored my request to cancel my order and waited until their backorder of my original pair of glasses I ordered arrived and just sent it to me anyway, with no email to tell me or give me a heads up. I had to email them myself to find out that they shipped the pair of glasses. I don't mind keeping the pair of glasses, but keep in mind that my original total was $77, yet they charged me $99. I emailed them about it and they told me they would refund the difference. I'm still waiting on that refund. (EDIT: They told me i was not getting my refund until i took this review off. Guess i wont be seeing that refund.) If you're thinking about ordering from this company, I beg of you, for your sake to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE buy it elsewhere. This company will only give you problems stacked on problems. Save yourself the trouble."

I have never left an online review before but this experience deserves one.
The glasses I recieved are perfect, genuine and have arrived in record time. 4 working days from NY to Perth (Australia) is unheard of in internet sales. I deliberately ordered 4 weeks early to ensure my gift would be in the country before the date I needed them and my expectations were exceeded 10 fold.
I will be telling everyone who needs sunglasses to come to you.
I can't believe I just got a AU$450 pair of glasses for $130. David was amazing and processed my order with great communication.

"I ordered a pair of Versace sunglasses from Dreamshades in August... I was notified from them that the glasses were on back order and would be in towards the end of the month. Later, I was updated again saying that the glasses were still delayed and would be longer than originally expected and they asked if I was still wanting to wait. At this point summer was pretty much over and I had waited so long, I felt that it was still worth it. However, I asked if I could get a $10 discount for sticking with the process and being patient. I was told this was acceptable, and shortly after my sunglasses finally arrived at the very end of September. Although I had to email again to remind them of the added discount, I was refunded the $10 with no problem. All in all, I was VERY happy with the communication that Dreamshades had with me throughout the back order process. It did not go unnoticed. It can be rather frustrating using online sites and feel like there is nobody on the other end. Dreamshades has great customer service and I would definitely use them again, even with the very long delay from getting my sunglasses. Thanks again for the accomodations:)"
