"I ordered a dress in gold for an event that gold is the required color. I am very disappointed in the color of the gold. The chiffon is beige and the satin on the dress is gold. Therefore, it is a two toned dress with beige and gold. The colors of the fabric do not match as they show in the picture on the web site. The colors on the web site fabrics are not true to life. I complained on the day of receipt and was told computers are not true to color.....I have a mac book pro. I do not believe it is a computer issue. Therefore, I have had to go find a gold dress to wear to the event. I will not use this site again! Poor customer service.
I just got off the phone with customer service. They are giving me a full refund. 1/2 now and 1/2 when they receive the dress. I have changed my scoring below based upon the resolution. Thanks for the quick response. "

"I purchased a paid of dance shoes size 42. They arrived and were much smaller than a 42 we would purchase in the UK. When I emailed the company they offered me 15% of the purchase price and suggested I sold them on myself to get rid of them! After several more emails I was offered a total of 30% of the cost excluding postage. I refused this telling them that their sizing was wrong and therefore the shoes were not of any use. They emailed back suggesting I send the shoes back at my cost for a refund. The cost of returning the shoes by far outweighed the cost of the shoes, which I told them. The company admitted their shoe sizes are not the same as ours! Surely a size 42 is a size 42 wherever you buy it. Apparently not, so I have been left out of pocket financially, stuck with a pair of useless shoes. I shall be sharing my story with fellow dance friends as this is outrageous and they should not be allowed to trade with the UK making false claims about their sizings. I shall never use this company again, and shall ensure as many people as possible in the Ceroc and Jive community are aware of their trading ethics.

"I bought this dress for my daughter for Homecoming. I was a bit worried about the timing of arrival, 5-7 days to make it and 5-9 days to ship. Placed the order on a Thursday night and had it the following Wednesday. I did not custom size, as she was pretty close the size chart, but I did have to have the dress altered a little, which took another week. The dress is beautiful on her and no one will have the same dress at the dance, I would definitely use this website again! Thanks for the quality dress and speedy service"

"I didn't realize that shopping for a mother-of-the-groom/bride dress would be so difficult. I first shopped locally and found nothing. When I did find one I liked, I was told there was no way I would ever get it in time. The wedding was five weeks away, and they needed at a minimum, six weeks for a rush order. I was also told this was standard with any dress maker. Then I found DressFirst.com. The selection was amazing, and the prices even better than if I bought locally off the rack. I was very nervous that I wouldn't receive it in time, so I contacted the company prior to ordering, and was promptly answered that it wouldn't be a problem. I was nervous and skeptical to order online, but with 3 weeks left, I ordered. I didn't have to wait long. Once shipped, it took two days to reach my home in Maine from China! I was floored by the quality of materials and workmanship of the seamstress. The dress fits me perfectly to my exact measurements. It could not have been better than if I had been fitted in person!
