"Contacted Drivewire via phone to check on AVAILABILITY on a heater -a/c switch . After several minutes on hold and having to explain what i needed to the person more than once , i returned to the online site and was able to order the part. HOWEVER, a few days later i receive a notice from DWire that they don't have the part.
I will not use them again. I went to another site who had SEVERAL of the same part."

"Drivewire substituted a cheaper and inferior set of spark plug wires. They did not prodvide notification of the substitution or refund the difference for the less expensive item. The plug wires were not even a direct replacement for the specified vehicle and are a poor fit. Customer service has not been of any help

After several emails and phone calls, Drivewire's return department claimed they were going to send me the exact part I ordered. The representative verified the part I requested was in stock even stated they would confirm the part number prior to shipment. I received the replacement part today and guess what, they substituted a inferior "Standard" brand wire set again. Once again no notification of substitution was sent. A Drivewire rep just confirmed the part I ordered was "in stock" and was not able to explain why they are incapable of shipping it.
Bait and switch appears to be a component of Drivewire's business model. If it were possible, I'd rate them with zero stars.
Update: 3/10/12
Almost 3 months since the item was returned, Drivewire has not yet credited me with a refund. It required a 15 minute call for a "promise" I will be credited on Monday.
Drivewire was given 2 chances to deliver the part I order. Yet both times they substitued cheap inferior parts without notification. I eventually received a email stating they don't actually stock the Bosch plug wires I ordered. Checking my year and model on their site now shows only the no-name plug wires. About 10 other brand name wire-sets formally listed against my truck were also purged. However, if you search by part number, guess what, the Bosch wires I orignally ordered are reported as in stock!
It's clear to me that Drivewire intentionally does not accurately report their inventory. They falisfy the status of national brand parts then purposely substitute and ship cheaper no-name items. And of course, they pocket the difference.
While Drivewire's customer support staff were polite, it's now apparent they were feeding me nothing but a continuous series of lies. Worst on-line company I've delt with in many years."

So the problem is not in the wharhouse it is in order processing. I emailed a copy of the packing slip to the customer service agent and was told I would have to wait while they "investigate" and it would take 48 hours.
