Two days after my order online, I got a phone call about the order. As others experienced, I was pushed to take white-glove delivery and insurance. I took them as "they would make sure your tv works and will ship out much faster." After checking their online fine print, I found out that the so called "Express White Glove" delivery service only plug in and see if the logo is coming up. I called back two hours later to cancel that shipping option. With all the whatever sales talk, and then he told me that "it's already shipped and you will get it a little over a week." That was 8/7 and I finally got the tv on 8/24. The delivery guys wouldn't even put the tv on my 2-ft high entertainment center and demanded another $30 for "setting up". To be fair, East Coast TVs did say on the site that "assembly & installation not included", but it's a shame they are pushing such a service with a very long delivery time.
The total cost from east coast tvs for my TCP65ST60 is still on the lower end comparing to many other options, but i really don't like the pushy sales and not quite honest practice. Similar comments here lately although as I checked before the purchase there were more happier customers."

Expected a delivery in a week or two, but I received a phone call from the Sales Rep two days after ordering, asking if they could deliver it the next day! Just incredible for a TV that was in huge demand at the time, with other vendors saying they'd be out of stock for weeks!
Two young men delivered it the next day - very polite, very professional! They unboxed it for me so I could inspect for any shipping damage, but it looked like it just came from the factory floor. I'm very satisfied with my experience, and would definitely do business with them again. "

"I was very happy with the price, service, and delivery. I ordered an LG refrigerator for a screaming low price--hundreds less than I could purchase the same product anywhere else. Sure enough, the day after I place my order, Mike calls me from East Coast TV. He tells me that the fridge is backordered and unavailable. I should just "sit tight" until it becomes available at the distributor. Then, about three hours later, he calls again and tells me the fridge is now available. On the phone he tries to sell me the "White Glove Service" for $119. I was prepared for the call, expecting the upsell, and I declined. He offers the same service for $89. I decline and point out that he must be the master of the upsell. Mike gets offended, tells me I don't have to be sarcastic, and quits trying to add on things. Then he tells me that I have to pay shipping insurance at the rate of 2.5% of the purchase price. We do a walk-through of the website, where he points out the fine print where it says that shipping insurance is required. It's still a very good price, even with the add-on, so we close the deal, he gives me a final price, and we're done.
I'm expecting that without any expedited shipping or premium handling I will have to wait 10 days for the fridge to arrive. I get an e-mail telling me the fridge has shipped and it will be 7-10 days to delivery. Then, to my surprise, a couple days later I get a phone call telling me that the fridge will be delivered on day 4 since shipping. I couldn't be more pleased! They called the day before to give me a 4-hour window when delivery would take place, and then on the day of they called to tell me exactly when they would show up. The shipper was AM Home Delivery. I couldn't be more pleased with their service.
When the delivery arrived, they took the fridge off the truck and opened the box, allowing me to inspect the unit completely for scratches and dings. It was immaculate! Then they asked me where I wanted it. (Since I hadn't paid for the "White Glove Delivery" I expected that it was going to be unceremoniously dropped on the curb, and that would be it.) They carted the fridge around the side of the house, brought it in through the back door, and parked it exactly where I wanted it. Magnificent service, and the men were extremely careful and courteous!
I'm giving East Cost TVs four stars only because (1) I didn't appreciate the attempts to upsell premium delivery service, and (2) because the upcharge for the shipping insurance was hidden in the fine print and not obviously disclosed. Otherwise, I was extremely pleased with everything about the experience, and I feel that I received an excellent product at an extremely competitive price, with great service overall."

"My overall TV buying experience with East Coast Tvs was ok though it took a bit longer to receive the TV. I ordered the TV on 07/07/13 and received it on 08/05/13. At the time of order, I was told that TV is in stock and I should it in 7-10 business days. They give a great deal on TVs; very low priced. You get the same TV with less money spend. Nobody can beat their price. I did not have a good experience with their Customer Service personnel. After I placed the order online, the salesperson to whom my order was assigned to was rude. He used to get upset when I called him to get the status of delivery.
I had some problems with their shipping company. East Coast TVs utilizes AM Home Delivery for shipping. They showed up to deliver the TV at my house without informing me. Delivery re-schedule was painful as AM Home Delivery local office (in TX) would never return the phone calls. After calling their local office for at least a week with no response, I had to write a letter to East Coast TVs mentioning that I would call my credit card company to dispute the order if AM Home Delivery does not deliver my TV asap. Then I received a call from AM Home Delivery the next day and my TV arrived in just 2 days."
"I ordered an LG refrigerator on the website. I thought I would save several hundred dollars compared to competitors. The next morning I received a phone call that I need to add 1.5% for shipping insurance, and I should upgrade to express shipping to get the refrigerator in 1 week (regular shipping would take 2 weeks, and I live only 80 miles away). I was unhappy about these extra charges and the fact that the shipping company (A.M. Trucking) has an F rating at BBB. In the end, the shipping and delivery went fine, and I saved about $250 compared to competitors."
