"You get what you pay for here in terms of service. Upgraded White Glove Express Shipping means three weeks from order date to your door (vs.5-7 days promised during up sell). Calls to sales and customer service (including shipping company) regarding tracking were fruitless--three promised return phone calls never came. Upgraded cable offered in up sell never arrived either. On the positive side, I received a great TV at a great price (even including the worthless shipping upgrade). The Chicago-based delivery crew was on time and efficient. It's a shame East Coast isn't more upfront about the way they do business. For most people the savings probably would outweigh hassles/risks if expectations were properly set. One final note--and probably the main reason I would likely choose another merchant in the future--given my experience with customer service I have no confidence that if there had been a problem with the unit that it would have been resolved without a significant amount of effort on my part."

"Ordered a Samsung UN65F7100 online on Sunday 07/07/2013 for $2130 charged to my Am3x card. Got a call the next morning to sell me white glove delivery for half a dozen decreasing prices (something like $199 to $59). I refused each offer saying free shipping was all I wanted. I was then told about a 2.5% shipping insurance fee. I said I'd rather cancel than pay anything more. The salesman than agreed to the original price quote, and then said it would take about 3 weeks to arrive. It did. The order seemed to languish in a 'pending' status for a week. I called to inquire on Tuesday 7/16/2013, and then things started happening: my credit card was charged; the electronic shipping info was transmitted to AM Home Delivery; the status moved to 'ready to ship' or something like that; and I got a tracking number. On Thursday evening 7/18/2013, AM Home Delivery's tracking said it was in transit from NY to TX, and was updated again on Monday morning 7/22/2013 with a new time stamp, as if it missed the previous truck and was really on the way now. Nothing else until the afternoon of Monday 07/29/2013 when AM Home Delivery called to say they would deliver Wednesday 7/31/2013 between 8 AM and 12 PM. I agreed to be there. They called again at just after 7 AM to say they were about 30 minutes away. I'm assuming they were quoting eastern time zone for central time zone? Anyway, they arrived at about 7:45 AM, insisted on opening it up and plugging it in and letting me inspect it. They were polite and professional and efficient and I have no complaints. The TV looks great, works great and registered on Samsung's website without issue saying it was built in June 2013. The up-sell call is unpleasant, and the updates and status could be a bit better and the turn around time is a bit longer than I would like, but I did save about $566 for what little stress it really was. So I would order from East Coast TVs again. Note: the overall satisfaction rating should really be about 4.5 stars."
"This is my second TV purchase through ECTV - the first was last year - a 55-inch Samsung. Delivery and equipment check was fine. We just moved from Maryland to Tampa, where we have a media room that needed an upgrade. We opted for the 80 inch Sharp (857U) and I just went back to Kenny at ECTV. Again, great price and the service was just like the first - delivery was within the estimated time window, and the equipment check again went fine (they do not hook it up to the set top box, but it's a simple HDMI connection). When our new neighbors see this TV (and want one), I will certainly recommend ECTV. "

It was way cheaper than any other retailers online. Delivery guys brought the TV into my apartment, opened the box and made sure that the unit is not damaged and working properly.
