"Ordered a Chameleon XBOX mod chip. Order was delayed, and customer service did not respond to inquiries. Finally shipped a few weeks later (on order that was supposedly in stock!) When product arrived, I installed it, and it booted into the Linux BIOS. However, the product is *not flashable* and is stuck with the buggy 1.8 Cromwell BIOS forever, due to some kind of manufacturing defect. Merchant's policy is to not refund my express shipping, and keep 4% of the transaction on an RMA ... hardly worth returning it. Stay away!"

"They shipped me a defective chip and shorted me on the refund even by their own refund policies whicm makes you pay for all the shipping costs and keeps 4% of your order to cover credit charge expenses. They have not bothered to even reply to my question why I was refunded more than 15% less than the defective product THEY manufactured and THEY should have tested but didn't prior to shipping - even though in their own forums they claim to test each and every one. They later apologized for not testing it and promised they would test the new chips - like I would believe the same story twice! Where's the rest of my refund??? And why should I have to cover their expenses when THEY screw up???"

"Well, I decided to check out the company on this site AFTER I had already made an order. I was thinking about getting a refund beause of the negative feedback, but I decided to wait, because the company followed through with emails and I was able to track my package. My order arrived in 8 days. The only problem was the packaging. A box would have been better instead of a little bubble wrap and a bag. Lucky thing my chip wasn't crushed.

"Charged my credit card before shipping. Still waiting for my credit back. I ordered a chameleon mod chip that they indicated was "in stock". Later on , it was out of stock with estimated date of arrival December 10th, now it is changed to December 16th!. STAY WAY>>> As you can see I was mistaken to order from them."

"HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! This company will take your money and not ship the product on time. This company will charge you more to ship overnight but wait 2 weeks to ship. This company will make you wait on hold for an hour to talk to someone. This company will list an item as 'In Stock' when it isn't. "I originally called EasyBuy's toll free number to confirm stock of the product I was going to order (Chameleon + solderless adapter). Upon confirming that the product was in stock I placed my order with EasyBuy2000 on Monday, Nov. 10th. The next day I received a call from someone to confirm my billing and shipping info. I was told at this time that my order would be shipped out that day or the next, and I can expect the chip in my hand on Thursday.

When I returned to their tracking page on Wednesday I discovered that the product did not ship. When I called that afternoon I was told that they had run out of stock but they had already received a new shipment and were testing them. At this point I was told my order would ship on Friday or Monday due to the time it takes to test the chips.

Friday and Monday both come and go. On Monday afternoon I called to find out if my order had shipped since I didn't have access to the web so I couldn't check the online tracking. The entire day I could not get through to a human being. I sat on hold for 30 minutes at a time and finally gave up. I tried again on Tuesday morning. This time I was told that the stock they received of the Chameleons were not sufficient to fill their orders and they were expecting more to arrive on Friday or Monday.

After having been promised 2 delivery dates already and the obvious fact that they were withholding the truth I decided to cancel my order.

Based on the reviews here, it appears to me that Easybuy has run their operation this way for nearly 3 years now and has yet to make any corrections in the way they handle customer service. I give them a big fat ZERO on a scale of one to ten. Only buy from this company if you enjoy frustration and being lied to.

"I ordered the Swap Magic CDs and paid for tracking. My first complaint is that they shipped it from their Canadian office instead of the USA one. This defeated the purpose of the tracking number since once it left Canada it quits updating. My next complaint is that the CDs just came in 2 little paper sleeves inside the cheapest envlope they could fit them in. They didn't include ANY protection with them at all. I tried calling customer service twice. The first lady was some what helpful trying to see if there was a new tracking number for it once it got into the USA. The 2nd man sounded like he was mexican, I couldn't understand him at all, neither could my guests."

"Placed an order for PS2 modchips on Friday 8/15, buy 3 get 1 free with free shipping. I thought it was such a steal until I checked their ratings on this site. During the weekend I thought about calling and canceling my order. On Monday I checked the status of my order and to my surprise it has already been shipped. The package arrived late Tuesday afternoon. They shipped using FedEX over night from Canada. Maybe this is a sign that the company is shaping up."

"Bought a chameleon XBox mod chip.

The single most atrocious company I've ever had to deal with.

The modchip was delayed by 5 months however the company continued to lie to customers that it would be shipped in the next few days.

Following shipment, CSR had no clue which location it was shipped from (they have 1 in the US, Canada and Mexico). My tracking number did not work.

The packaging was a simple thin envelope (no bubble-wrap) for a mod chip. Packaging was badly damaged. Shipping took 3 weeks to arrive (from US).

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!
