"I recently had to change the motherboard in my pc which meant my windows 10 pro key stopped working. MS wanted £220 for a new key which is ridiculous imo.
I was wary buying a key from anywhere but MS as you can never tell if it is a scam, pirated or genuine from a third party.
After I verified that EKSoftware are a certified MS Partner I decided to take the risk and purchased a key for £58.52 (normally £77 but reduced for their New Year sale), a huge saving compared to MS.
I received the key via email within 3 hours of purchase but as this was midnight here in the UK I waited until morning to try it.
Windows accepted the key, but it came up with an activation error.
I immediately went to the EK website for support, I couldn’t get the chat to load but as it was New Years Day I thought it had maybe been disabled. I used the remote support option to schedule a call for 22:00 same day.
At 22:02 Daniel from support called me, quickly ran through a couple of things and asked me to send screenshots of the error.
By 22:14 the call was ended with Windows now fully activated and functioning perfectly, Daniel also assured me that if I have any issues with the key in future, even years down the line that I can always get back in touch with them for support.
Overall I am very happy with purchasing the key from EK saving a lot of money compared to MS, and happy with the efficient and knowledgeable support I got from Daniel in quickly resolving the issue I had, if I need MS keys in future EKSoftware will be my first choice."

I said just a few minutes, but Eric immediately responded that he would send the link. Apparently, people wait a bit to get the link normally, but I wasn't aware of that. Eric didn't say a word about it though, just quickly sent me the link. Then he helped me with further questions that I had. And furthermore, he upgraded me to the more complete package of software than what I had ordered! He was not at all patronizing but did offer all the help I needed. Probably has something to do with Microsoft 365 and not your fault, but I paid for it and not getting any value. Microsoft 365 and OneDrive are the pits."
