"They sell equipment that they are not authorized to sell, and therefore the manufacturers will not honor your warranty. Do NOT buy YAMAHA equipment from them. There is no indication on their site they are not an authorized dealer. I recieved a defective Yamaha Reciever from them. After being given two phone numbers to call, I got through to a third guy who said he was just a sales guy and that customer support closes at 6 ( I called at 6:30) when the previous person told me specifically that customer service was open until 7. He also informed me that my reciever was a 'special order' and that they would NOT take it back, or honor the warranty, when the reciept mentioned specifically that there was a full warranty on the machine. This man did not have any comment when I mentioned that Yamaha would not honor the warranty. I think they are trying to scam people."
"I placed an order for a $4000 item. They charged my credit card right away, but they were slow to get me the tracking information. Five days after my order, I finally received the tracking information. Then, later that afternoon, I got a call from the carrier to arrange a delivery time (ie, the item arrived in town). I don't know if the problem in communication was between electrified.com, their distributor, and/or their shipper. Apparently the order was processed within a couple of days, but noone could give me any status until the item was already here. In addition, they charged me $390 for deliverying the item "inside the house" which the delivery person later clarified it would only be just inside the doorway. ($130 more than if they drove the truck by the house slow enough so that we could get the item off the truck ourselves.) They said they needed to charge the extra $130 to bring it inside the house in order to have another guy on the delivery truck. The guy showed up by himself. In some ways, one could say all's well that ends well, but I don't like not having access to any status information after spending $4000... And I didn't get the impression anyone really cared that I wasn't getting the tracking information I was looking for. (The sales rep didn't even give me the original invoice number.)"
"This company is way out of line when it comes to shipping. They consistently overcharge. Their prices are great, but you get cheated on the shipping."

But I couldn't figure out how to hook up my mouse, I now know I had a USB mouse... I called James back and he walked my through the hook up process, how wonderful to have someone reliable there to help on a Saturday!!!"
