"I purchased a Brilcon induction cook top through ElectroDirect on eBay. It died completely after two months, so I made a claim on the advertised 2 year warranty. Electrodirect fought like hell to avoid honoring the warranty. They even claimed that I had not used a licensed electrician, when I had and I had given them plenty of proof. It was installed by a builder as part of a new kitchen. It has been three months now and I am still fighting. It looks like I will have to take them to the small claims court.
I think that their standard procedure for processing warranty claims is deny, deny, deny, lie, lie lie then refuse to communicate further. "
"Initially had a so-so experience. An Item I received was supposed to be "Like New'. It worked, but clearly was not "Like New" because it has loose parts.
I Emailed the company and wasn't satisfied with their first response, so I made a second. As a result, their resolution was far better than I had imagined.
It took a bit of effort, but I was more than pleased with the end result."
"I know this company has taken quite a hit on this site in terms of poor reviews or ratings, but they treated me well and took care of me as a customer and it would only be fair for me to return the favor. I purchased a pair of Refurbished headphones from them and they arrived in a bit rougher shape than I hoped. In addition to this, there was no sound coming from the right side of the headset. I contacted them, they acted quickly, offered to replace my headphones immediately, and I agreed. I had my replacements a few days later and they were better than expected and in perfect shape. The company handled the issue as good as you would want someone to handle it and for that I'm thankful. No complaints from me and I would probably be willing to give them my business again in light of how my issue was resolved."
"They were not an authorized retailer of ludacris headphones. I was unable to return to them because it was beyond their days. I tried to send it back to the manufacturer under their warranty, but they returned because electronica direct was not authorized. Amazon was fabulous to take it back, but we only got a portion of the total back.
This has made me not want to online order anymore."

I bought a E3000 Linksys router from Electronica Direct. The box was very carefully packed, but nothing worked, even the adapter.
My recommendation is : DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS VENDOR."

"I ordered a ULPC-X Mount for a TV installation I had scheduled just over a week in advance. It took them 2 full business days to email me back about my order being canceled due to them being out of stock, but it clearly said in stock when I ordered. I called on a tuesday to find out if they could expedite a shipping on one from the manufacturer to help me out, and got an answering service saying they are on vacation and will back in the office on monday? really lol? Anyways I since ordered the same product elsewhere, but due to them taking 2 days to cancel my order, I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to reschedule my install, as the part I had to re-order elsewhere, probably won't make it here on time. I probably won't be using this company in the future, clearly they aren't setup for retail over the internet."
"I ordered an HP Slimline PC that was listed as "brand new in the OEM box". Before my order shipped my credit card was charged. I called to get tracking info and they said they would email it immediately. After 2 hours I called again and they said the order had been stopped because they realized they were about to send me a refurbished unit. They did not have any new units. They applied a refund.
Based on my experience I would never order again from this store. Big mistake. First, no retailer should ever charge your card until they have shipped the goods. I think this is a couple of people running a shop out of their home, no real inventory. Some nerd in the basement building stuff out of junkyard parts and hoping you won't notice."

I JUST ordered a Garmin 1350T from this company via Amazon as mine was stolen when someone broke out my car window and stole everything I had in my car this last weekend. "Electronica Direct is by far the worst seller that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with on Amazon.com. I was mislead by their description of the product (they have since pulled the advertisement, but I copied the website before they removed it.) I was lied to, they told me in an email that the Blu-Ray “is compatible with Region A and Region B. Region C is untested.” Which it is not! I have asked for a replacement disk twice and a return mailer three times and have been deflected from a straight answer each time. I have finally given up and gone to Amazon directly for a refund. I haven’t got a clue why they are rated so high on Amazon and so low every place else on the net. They must have their employees writing reviews for them. If you see a “Reseller Reply” from Electronica Direct after this post and I haven’t updated my post they are probably lying about it Amazon.com were the ones that made it right after fighting with Electronica Direct" I have documentation to back up everything in this post. NEVER AGAIN FROM ELECTRONICA DIRECT!"
"Very bad experience. I bought a re-manufactured router which turned out to be faulty and I simply wanted another one. But it is nearly impossible to get these people on the phone. Customer service is non existent because they decided to go on a 2 week vacation and no one can help me during that time. Because of this I will miss the return period and won't be able to get refund or exchange. This is totally unscrupulous business practice. "
