"I bought a vacuum part from this business and it costed $139 and they made a mistake and gave me a wrong part so they told me to send it back which costed me $50 and when they wanted to give my money back they took out an extra $30 which is why I don't recommend to shop here."
"Ordered a charger for a Eureka battery vacuum on July 19. No reply within a week. Response to my email inquiry advised it was back order till Aug 1. Heard nothing more. Response to my email inquiry advised it was back ordered till Sept 13. I emailed on Sept 13, and was told should be available today. In response to my email inquiry on Sept 21, they said back ordered till Dec 13. I told them to cancel order. Their first email reply said order was canceled but a few hours later they sent a second email stating, "...as I instructed my warehouse to cancel, they received this (part) in and shipping today." My email the following day went unanswered to confirm it was shipped. (I found the part locally but didn't purchase as they said the part was shipped). No response to my email by Sept 28 so I called them. The person confirmed it was shipped the prior week. Then, on Sept 30, I received a refund from Paypay. I sent an email asking why I was refunded when the product had been shipped as confirmed by their email and their customer service representative. No response to email (again). Called on October 4 and representative confirmed the order was canceled. I explained the above asking how a shipped item (confirmed by email and on the phone) could be canceled. She said, "must have been a miscommunication." She also said the part had been back ordered with no estimated date of arrival. (what happened to Dec 13 from a few days ago?) When I asked for a manager, I was told there was no manager available.
Their lies are crossing each other. It was THEIR email, THEIR customer rep who told me it had been shipped. How is that miscommunication? Plus, why did they accept my order without informing me they didn't even have the part? And never update me when it was (allegedly) being repeatedly back ordered by Eureka? And only provide information when I call them? This is deceptive business practice in my opinion. And now I cannot find the part again. Refunding my money like they did me a favor? wow, how generous!! Buyer beware with this company. "
"It was easy enough to find the parts I needed. I ordered four things: a replacement hose assembly, a replacement brush attachment, a canister filter, and a HEPA filter, all for a Eureka bagless upright.
During checkout I attempted to use discount code "take10" for 10% off the order, bringing my total below $50, which apparently no longer qualified for free shipping. So I would have been charged more to take advantage of the discount code.
I placed the order on 4/19. The order arrived on 5/28. eVacuumStore was waiting on parts from the manufacturer -- but I didn't find this out until I contacted customer service. They replied with a frank, short, two-sentence response. They didn't apologize for the delay. They didn't even start the message with a "Dear Sir", or sign the message with their name. It was very impersonal and dismissive.
If parts are backordered, that's understandable. But the business needs to communicate this to the customer as a courtesy, whether on the item page or at the point of checkout. The customer shouldn't be tasked with trying to find out what the issue is AFTER the order was placed, and then dismissed by those who are supposed to help.
When the order finally arrived, everything was, mostly, OK. The hose was good and the correct one. The HEPA filter correct, but was packed loosely in the box with no plastic sleeve or packaging of any kind, therefore it’s not clean and probably collected particulate contaminants during the long shipping process. The canister filter is the correct size, but doesn't snap properly into place so it doesn't have a secure connection. And the brush attachment doesn't have a magnet, so there's no way for it to stay attached to the vacuum when not in use. Instead of going through all the hassle of dealing with eVacuumStore again, and wait possibly another month for the correct parts, assuming I successfully navigate their "friendly customer service team", I decided I'll make do with these as they are. I simply took the back of the old brush attachment and put it on the new one -- now it's magnetic and hangs where it's supposed to. As for the canister filter, hopefully it just stays in place until it's time for a new one.
To close, this experience was far, far less than average, but not completely horrible, as I got mostly what I wanted at a decide price. Less than average, but not horrible. That's the definition of two stars.
I won't be ordering from eVacuumStore again.

"My experience was terrible after I tried to return a part . Here is my story. I purchased a replacement nozzle for $149.99 after a conversation on phone with customer service . I did not buy on their website because I needed advice on which of three possible parts was causing my problem. Because the part was costly, I asked if it could be returned if it was the wrong part and was told yes, just keep the receipt and send in the original packaging. No mention was made of a restocking fee norwas there a comment about restocking on my receipt. When I received the part & it did not fix my problem, I returned it immediately. However, only $110 was credited to my account . I called about this and was told there was a restocking fee and I no longer was entitled to free shipping although I did keep part of my order. When I questioned this further, I was informed that the product was now used. I said that I needed to turn the vacuum on and try it on the floor to see if it would work and not cut out. I was told that I should not have tried the vacuum on the floor but held it upside down. I have never vacuumed upside down before! In all , my experience with this company was terrible. Both times I called them I was put on hold for over a half hour. Also how could I tell if the power nozzle was the part I needed if I couldn't turn turn on the power. I had planned on buying another of the parts they suggested before I learned how they would tell you anything just to sell the part. Buyer beware!"
"They sent me the wrong part on two occasions-then finally admitted they don't have the part I purchased on line.--(I no longer see the vacuum part available on the website). The problem is their horrible customer service person-Jen. She seems to be the only customer service agent and she is NASTY and doesn't know much. Trying to explain to her the problem and trying to return the wrong part was torture. I told her it was their mistake--they ended charging me the return shipping anyway. I called her back explaining the whole story again-and she was extremely rude and defensive- never once did I receive an apology for their repeated mistakes. "
"I ordered an Electrolux vacuum from eVacuumstore. Ordering was easy enough, but after a couple weeks my vacuum had still not arrived. This was understandable, as I am at an overseas APO location, but the troublesome part was that the USPS tracking info didn't even show the package entering their system. (just status of "notified of shipment"). I gave it 4 weeks to be sure, and then contacted USPS. USPS stated, wrongly, that the tracking number was just a delivery confirmation number, not tracking. At this point, I contacted evacuumstore to follow up on the delivery.
First, I called and spoke to somebody who said they needed to talk to the warehouse folks to look into it and that the would get back to me. I waited another week to hear from them.
Next, I tried their online chat, and chatted with someone who said they were following up with the warehouse. I left the chat open for about 45 minutes hoping that they would have new info for me, but they hadn't heard back from the warehouse. I asked what information the warehouse was looking into and he said they were trying to find my tracking number. I copied and pasted my tracking number from the order details page of my account (would have thought they had access to that as well), and he said they would get back to me that day.
I waited just under a week before contacting them again. I called and spoke with somebody who didn't know anything about my prior requests. I filled him in on the details and he said he needed to contact the warehouse to look into it. Again, I waited - this time for a few days. No word.
Once more, I chatted online with somebody. They said that the warehouse was going to call UPS to find out where the package was (the package originally shipped UPS and was handed to USPS). When I did not hear back from him, I chatted with someone again the next day.
This time, after telling my story again, the customer service rep opened a ticket with UPS while I was on the chat and promised to get back to me that day. As it was Friday, I waited until Monday before calling again. When I spoke with someone this time, they were able to confirm that a ticket had been opened with UPS and they would have a response within a week.
A couple days later, tracking info updated, and my package was en-route, though I did not hear anything from eVacuumstore for another couple of days after that saying that it had been resolved.
I know this has been a lengthy retelling of my experience. That is part of the point - it was a painful and lengthy process dealing with customer service and nobody seemed to take any accountability. If they had taken action when I first called, my vacuum would have arrived three weeks earlier and several hours of my time would not have been wasted following up with them. I ordered my vacuum on October 20, and should have received it by mid November, but did not have it in hand until just after Christmas.
To sum it up, you are probably ok ordering from these guys. Their prices are fair and shipping probably goes just fine most of the time. However, if something goes wrong, God help you dealing with their customer service."
