I contacted Expansys-USA and they explained that they had received a bad batch of these from the manufacturer and would issue me a refund, which was done immediately. "I was impress of the easy checkout and prompt delivery! However, I was disappointed in the Product and Return/Exchange process.
I purchase a tablet with a defect hardware. I contacted Expansys via phone twice and both time got a VM. They finally contacted me back with a canned email on how to return. I didn't get my question answered and had to follow-up with a few emails.
The worst part came when I wanted to exchange my tablet. Per the policy set by the Returns Manager, he said that I had to pay for my return shipping cost because 1) I didn't pay for the shipping the first time and 2) the item was value less than $100. I explained to him that I want to exchange since it was a defect and it's not like I had changed my mind. He kept on standing his ground about the policy he set. I just didn't understand why I would have to pay for return cost when they sent me a defect! He explain that they are in business and didn't want to cause confrontational. At that point, it was beyond the return shipment cost. I felt cheated!
I had plan to YELP and contact the CEO for this unreasonably POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!. Unlucky, the Return Manager sent me a return label but didn't further to apologies or anything like that. Very disappointed. I asked 5/5 people and everyone agreed with me, so I know I wasn't being unreasonable.
I hope this poor feedback gets posted and the management change its policy.
