"If you shop for vintage Volvo electrical parts you inevitably see the hype about Delphi replacements for Bosch and other OEM (as in expensive) parts. How well designed and manufactured they are by dedicated British patriots blah blah blah… Well, I think it's all true ! I just purchased and installed a Delphi Air Mass Meter #0280217511 to replace the Bosch on my '98 V90. I'm impressed. Bosch and everybody else (Chinese knockoffs included) supply the sensor along with the entire duct assembly – an assembly that you do NOT need to replace because the sensor is held in with two simple screws. The entire assembly just LOOKS more expensive and such because it's 5 times larger but it's a waste of plastic and $$$. Anyway, the sensor I bought actually appeared to be of higher quality than even the original Bosch…and THAT almost never happens. Works exactly as it should, arrived in 48 hours at a good price… What's NOT to like?"
