"I bought a Huawei Ascend G300, which was PAYG and networked locked to Vodafone.

I ordered an unlock code from FastGSM at 11 pm on Christmas Eve (24th Dec) and the codes were sent back to me at 6 pm on 26th Dec. Consdering that this was the Christmas period, I was happy with the response time.

The instructions (on youtube) and code worked just fine and unlocked the phone no problem.
It did take me a while to get mobile internet and mms working - but this is because I needed to update the APN settings on the phone manually in order to use my Virginmobile SIM card. The settings were all listed on the Virginmobile web site and worked fine.
