"A package was shipped late to the FedEx location where I planned to pick it up, so I was no longer in town. That part isn't the fault of FedEx. However, when I called to request that they forward it to another FedEx Office location where I could pick it up, I was told that it was too late and the package had to be returned to the sender. Nevermind that I spoke with a person in the store where the package was located, and she had it in her hand. Because I waited until the last day (they'll hold packages for five days) their hands were tied and the had to ship it back to the sender.
I don't believe that they were lying; I believe that they were acting in compliance with their policy. However, this policy is ridiculous. It was in their power to change the delivery address, but they chose not to. This isn't the only time I have contacted them, discussed a package that was in their possession, and been told that because of policy X, Y, or Z, they were unable to provide me the service that I wanted. UPS and USPS both have readily made this kind of change for me. FedEx is clearly the least willing of the three to provide additional service to their customers."
"I live in Wisconsin, the package was an hour away and then suddenly went to Ohio, next it goes back to Wisconsin a city (About 25 minutes away) THEN goes another 45 minutes away.... It is Thursday and the package was expected Monday. They are very disorganized."
"Over night dilevery take 5 day to delivery and i call customer service they are not good they are laying "
"i sent them a email for a product that wasn't delivered and they responded a lot (my information, random ads about their website, and my whole email. And they replied "Thank you for your inquiry" thats it."
"Keep me up date on my package until it was delivered."
"they are shipping it while I am away and could not pick it up to the near location. need to travel to Woodbridge while i live in Mississauga in order to get package. "
"I had a packager due in 27 Dec. I called FEDEX and was given a window of 2:30 - 5:00 for arrival. I asked them to make sure the driver brings it to the house and not the end of the drive (we live in the country). At 7:00 PM, i got a text that it wouldn't arrive until the next day. It was left at the gate, not brought to the house as UPS does."
"Bought parts from online auto place. Sent the parts to my son in another state. Parts did not suit needs. Received RMA# and shipping label from auto place to use FedEx. Son took parts to FedEx but shipping label wouldn't work. He calls the auto part company for shipping address and mailed package and now months later, no credit. My son and I have gone back and forth for weeks between this company and FedEx to try and get credit but to avail. And FedEx wouldn't even give me the address it was supposedly shipped to so I can retrieve the parts even though I have the tracking number! One says this, the other says that. I say I'm out of a $100. Will never use this company again and I advise the same for everyone else. "
"Wish I could give zero stars but that's not an option. Been waiting for over a week to get my sons christmas gift before we head out of town. Even though the package was in my area Saturday afternoon, it wasn't set to be delivered until today, Tuesday eve by 8pm.
Soooooo I get to know it's sitting less then 5 miles away for three days making matters worse, it's an iphone and it requires a signature so I knew I was going to have to take the day off.
Needless to say I'm monitoring their site from the second I wake up....
7:06 pm At local FedEx facility
7:58 am On FedEx vehicle for delivery
6:38 am At local FedEx facility
As you can see it was on a truck at 7:58AM and even though I was home all day and it was guaranteed delivery by 8PM the package was checked back to the local facility at 7:06PM.
Now what happened all depends on who you speak with.... According to Jorge who I spoke to with the Verizon c/s person (Megan) it will be delivered by 9PM tonight because of the holidays. Whelp it's 9:23 as I type this so think that was a bunch of bull.
Now if you speak to Pat from FedEx, she says they had an issue with the conveyer belt and repeatedly apologized.
Of course once you get up the chain and speak with either Hugo or Rene (SALRC) they don't know what happened, took my complaint, gave me a ticket number, but feel "very confident it will be delivered on time tomorrow".
By "on time" I think they meant by 8PM just a different day. Oh yeah, have I mentioned that we fly out of town for the holidays tomorrow.
Thanks FedEX. Best believe I'll ensure NEVER to utilize your lack of service again! "
"Why does FedEx send from NJ to CA to deliver in TX? Why would they send a package from MI to Dallas, then to CA, then back to Dallas? Each time I sat by my front window waiting to sign for delivery. But missing TWO days from work for each delivery is unforgivable. You are just too expensive from my end as the recipient. How can you stay in business by traveling three times the distance across the U.S.? "When it absolutely positively has to be there in two weeks, we'll promise in two, send it to the wrong place, then reschedule delivery for two more weeks.""
"FedEx has now become the leader in customer complaints. The company has been told many times that the delivery to my home is to have the package placed on the driveway & not near the street. I have a camera that records the deliveries of all the companies and FedEx blatantly ignores all of the instructions when they deliver. The problem seems to be the drivers that are "Ground Delivery." They use UHaul truck rentals, the drivers are rude and they have damaged many items without regard to personal belongings or decency to provide a proper service to the customers. They PITCH the item from the truck (Sometimes 10 feet or more) to the concrete and from the driver door and many items have been broken when I open the box. I have complained to the head office and while they act concerned over the problem... I can tell that they just don't give a shiet about what is going on. I am going to recommend to all companies NOT to send any more packages using FedEx. They drive their trucks on my narrow, hilly road like they are crazy... with absolutely no regard for a blind corner, people and children walking and other traffic. Yes, the street is very narrow and they just hog their way right through the narrow road pushing other cars out of the way to seek safety. I am going to do my best to use other companies for my deliveries from now on. Perhaps when business starts to fail or they are investigated and under new management something will develop to bring the company back to the higher standards that they once had. I am a very unhappy customer with FedEx"
"My seller from eBay insisted on shipping by FedEx ground. But it came damaged. I tried to claim for the damage Twice, once by myself and 2nd time by the shipping store. But both times they rejected it saying package was not insured. And sad part it it’s the 2nd time I had used FedEx ground and both the time it came damaged. They handle package super rough. And I don’t buy from people any more, who use FedEx ground. And I always have great experience with usps ."
"i paid $50US to have a package delivered overnight from Seattle to Duncan BC. It was specifically stated on shipping that it was to be delivered "no signature required". It never got left the next day, a slip stating "signature required" was left. These were time sensitive documents, and as they were not delivered overnight, the time expired to have them postmarked returned on time. Because they "TRIED" to deliver them on time, my claim for a refund was denied. WTF? I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!"
"So I work for UPS and I’m not saying their that great either but at least they don’t give you false information on your order you are trying to track. I received a update to my orders shipping status and it said it would be delivered Tuesday 5, 2017 as well as had a departure scan on it as if it would be delivered. Called and they said I wouldn’t get it til today. Won’t be ordering through them ever again. Poor Customer Service "
"FedEx entered the wrong address of a newly-constructed house into its database about December 2014 and continues to route drivers to the wrong address in spite of shippers sending packages to our correct address. Call Center claims no one except shippers can correct the address though shippers are sending packages to the correct address. Apparently a drop-down menu was used to choose a different street name about two miles away. Suspect this was done prior to FedEx verifying USPS release of new addresses. Received a package with a picture of a vacant lot taped on. Looks like an old version of Google street view. This after two calls and a detailed explanation of 10 minutes. Tried the website and address can't be changed because "credit card address doesn't match [the wrong] shipping address"? "
