"We shipped a package with FedEx international two months ago, since than, each week, we are told different stories, required different things while the package is hold in Israel in customs for the past two months. We paid $266 for shipping some gifts to kids and now we are ask to pay over $300, plus daily storage in the custom, told that we have another option to declare it lost as they can't return it back to us. Their customer service people don't have a clue on forms that need completed at time of shipment, not to mention, they can't make their minds from one week to another on what is needed next in order to have the package delivered to the destination. Don't use FedEx, they are ripping people off and can't deliver on the promised time."

Fedex must be very area dependent. I used to rely on Fedex for most of my shipping. In the last couple of years they have become the most unreliable of all shippers. Many times I find packages left on my door and not even a knock or door bell ring. Another I will get delivery notifications saying I wasn't there and I had been waiting for the package all day. No door tag will be there. And you would see the truck drive down the street and not even stop. So it seems that the drivers are short on time and just say you aren't home. Today I waited around and received a notification that I wasn't home. I checked outside and door tag was there. Not a knock. And today the driver was there in the morning as opposed to the middle of the afternoon as normal. Substitute driver? Maybe. I have been told that they may not have been able to find my place but doesn't everyone have GPS these days? Then when calling customer service they dismiss the issue and say you can pick it up. Thats great, I can drive 45 minutes to pick up something that you should have delivered to begin with. The advocate team calls the depot and tells me that a manager will call and not once have I ever received a call from a manager. Once from someone else who admitted that the manager was unavailable and they were told to contact me. Advocate team is supposed to follow up but even with all of those time only once has anyone ever followed up. Their system is broken but they refuse to fix the problems that make for a very poor experience. At this time USPS is much more reliable for shipping than Fedex has been in some time."
"This review is for the FedEx location at 21937 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills, CA. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN, WITHOUT A DOUBT, THAT YOUR PACKAGE WILL NOT BE DELIVERED AS PROMISED, THEN BY ALL MEANS, VISIT THIS LOCATION. I dropped off two packages by 6:00, the deadline for west coast and Hawaii deliveries, on December 23. The package going to Monterey, CA, which showed as being accepted at 6:02 pm, was delivered at 6:00 pm on December 24. Great. The package going to Hawaii, which showed as being accepted at 6:01 pm, did not even leave that FedEx location!!!!!!!!!!! It was there the next day! It wasn't even picked up by the driver! When I dropped those packages off, I specifically asked, "These will go out tonight right?" and received a "Yes" answer from the man who helped us.
When I tracked the packages early the next afternoon, I saw that the package to Hawaii was not even picked up! The driver was there scanning packages when I gave them both boxes! The one to Monterey was picked up! This was a total FedEx screw-up! I called both this FedEx location as well as the FedEx 800 number, and was told the driver didn't pick it up because it was accepted after 6:00 pm. ONE minute after! When I was in line before 6:00 pm AND the FedEx agent who took the boxes from me said they would go out that night! AND the box accepted at 6:02, one minute after the Hawaii package was accepted, WAS picked up by the driver. If the FedEx agent who helped me had said one of the boxes would not go out that night, I would have taken it back.
When I called today, 12/24, FedEx said the next time the package could be delivered was NOT Friday, NOT Saturday, NOT Sunday, but MONDAY, the 28th, when the agent who took the package from me said it would go out 12/23 and be delivered 12/24! This package was supposed to be delivered in time for Christmas on Dec. 25! Why the hell would I be sending it on 12/23 if I didn't want it to be delivered on 12/24?
Since of course they don't deliver on Saturday in Hawaii, God forbid, I then had to go the FedEx office today, pick up the package, take it to the US post office, and pay 54.00 to have it delivered on Saturday, Dec. 26, which is still the day AFTER Christmas, when this package was supposed to be delivered on Dec. 24, the day BEFORE Christmas, because they were Christmas presents. FedEx acted like I did something wrong, when THEY are the ones who told me that the package would go out Dec. 23 and be delivered on Dec. 24.
Needless to say, if a package is important to you that it get someplace the next day, do yourself a huge favor and do NOT go to this location."

"Absolutely no concern for customer! Totally unreliable and not responsive. I ordered a rather heavy and cumbersome item from vendor who paid for Fed Ex home delivery to me. Instead, without attempting to deliver to me at my unit, driver left it at complex office and I saw the tracking info come up on my home computer as I was waiting for the delivery--and it was signed for by a name I did not recognize. That was 4 days ago. After numerous exchanges, Fed Ex said they had retrieved the package and would deliver to me but they still don't have a date for that. The complex manager says they do this all the time and they have been admonished repeatedly for it but it seems to be SOP.
I no longer accept this obnoxious "service" that ignores the customer and am going to force the issue w. Fed Ex. And then never order anything that includes delivery by them again. Never.

"My Letter to FedEx about their newest incompetence,
Here is my problem and I'm sure no one will do anything about it but I feel I must send this anyway. I set up a pick up yesterday at our warehouse location like I do any other day, whether the customer requests UPS or FedEx. And scheduled my pick up as I always do, then took my package to its normal pick up location, as I always do so that it could wait to be picked up. But when I arrived this morning, the package was still in the same location and had not been picked up. Now this has happened on numerous occasions and no one ever does anything about it, and well quite frankly I am sick and tired of this happening. I am using an express service because I need what I am shipping to arrive where I've sent it in a faster time. And I feel as an express service you should want to make sure this happens for the customers as we are paying a much higher rate for this service instead of sending the shipment ground! This was a 2 day shipment that will now take 3 unless as I was told by the customer service operator on the phone this morning, who also didn't give a care in the world about my now destined to be late package, I could change to an overnight service. Seriously, now my company has to pay the extra high price of overnight because one of your carrier decided not to pick my package up?! What kind of logic is that?? I already have to give the customer some kind of discount to help repair the fact that they are not going to receive the materials they ordered in time for the medical research project they are working on. And you're going to say that they called here....they did not, we checked the caller ID's on all the phones in our building and there are no calls from FedEx...also when you call our system it gives you an option for shipping and they would be my phone and I didn't not receive any calls from FedEx about this pick up! It’s pretty ridiculous that this continues to happen. This is the reason we are very limited in our use of your "Services" as we have found them to be so unreliable.

"I had over 200 ounces of breast milk shipped from a conference I had to attend and my delivery date was confirmed for Friday morning. When my box was not delivered and I followed up, I was told I could pick it up at the local warehouse on Saturday. The local warehouse person informed me I could not get my box and there was nothing she could do. So Monday, when my box arrived, my 200 ounces of breast milk was ruined and FedEx refused to refund my money. Guess what! Breast milk is irreplaceable and your unwillingness to help or even be kind about this upsetting situation is unacceptable. How would you feel if you paid for a meal and then were told the restaurant ran out of food? Oh and your money is non-refundable. Paying for a service that was not provided is unacceptable. Women are still fighting for equality, so to have to figure out how to pump while working and then make the arrangements to ship it, only to find out that FedEx doesn't care, is not family friendly or helpful. Way to be a barrier FedEx!"
"I so wish I could give this company minus 10 stars. They have messed up shipping so many times it's not funny. They never knock, they just leave stuff on my uncovered porch even in the rain. That's when they actually make the delivery. Their new hires are untrained and can't find addresses. One of their delivery men forged my signature and marked the item delivered when he couldn't find my house. They've delivered to the wrong house.
I can't tell you how many times the driver has marked a package as delivered when it hasn't been, and then there's a huge mess, sometimes taking weeks to sort out, before the merchant either refunds my money or ships the item again.
These are the worst ever. There are some merchants who only ship Fedex so I can't avoid them, but oh boy, I'm sorry every time they're involved. They are just awful. "
"I will NEVER EVER use this service again -- too many better choices. I am not even talking about "overnight" delivery here, but THREE DAY delivery! This was of course under "Fedex Express" as I submitted my order on Saturday afternoon and due to weekend cost rates, I opted for Tuesday morning delivery. THAT WAS A JOKE. There was a problem with the address??? I spent over 30 minutes in the Fedex store Saturday ensuring the correct address! The Fedex "system" kept pulling up the wrong city that GOOGLE did not pull up as wrong! Then, on delivery try Tuesday morning, they STILL got the address wrong! Did they call me? Oh no! I don't hear about the "non delivery" until Tuesday late afternoon from the expected recipient. So I call and straighten THAT OUT. Then, there is nothing for several hours from Fedex. So I call back -- "SORRY but that never got figured out, recipient will not be receiving the package tonight." The next day was TOO LATE. Recipient is already traveling. A total waste of my resources, time and money and ZERO to show for it. I will NEVER EVER use this service again. EVER!"
"I had a 21 package business consignment shipped from abroad, paid with insurance cover by the express service. Several days
later, 2 arrive late and one is lost.
I reported this, however they made me arund around for about 6 weeks, never calling me back or even emialing me as promised.
In the end, nearly 6 or 7 weeks later without telling me anything. It arrived repackaged by them with the box clearly labelled
by them as "damaged in handling by fedex". The original box was also in the packaging so I could see what had happened. Clearly
the original box was badly torn from bad handling (it was an official USPS strong parcels box).
The item inside was severely damaged in a way that could only have been done with very bad handling. As the metal chassis was
actual distorted so badly I could not even get it back in place by force.
At first they told me they would grant a claim, but then made me wait even more weeks, and eventually came back and said
another department denied the claim and they cant help. When queried they said they tried to fob me off by saying packaging was
inadequate, even though even a simple minded person can see clearly that this nature of damage has nothing to do with
packaging, as it was so badly damaged.
Its so obvious the FedEx team had tried hide the item, as it had been so badly damaged, and so it was lost initially, but after
my chasing it up and complaining, they mysteriously found and delivered it, and then within the company tried to cover it up
under an agreed story of bad packaging.
I always thought FedEx was meant to be one of the best, professional and trusted global couriers. Believe me, you do not want
to risk having to deal with them in the event of an issue or problem.
To further underline this, they are refusing to even provide me with the customs invoice, that I need to claim back the tax
from the government on it. Even the customs government department could not believe how badly FedEx was behaving.
