"For several years, Filters Fast has shipped filters for my heating/cooling system on an auto-ship basis. Shipments has always been on time and correct. Recently, I needed to cancel shipment because of an impending move. I had forgotten to give advance notice to Filters Fast until I received advance notice of shipment via e-mail. Once notified, Filters Fast was able to cancel the shipment and arranged for reversal of charges to my credit card account which already reflected an impending charge. This was done expeditiously and without any hassle whatsoever. I highly recommend this company not only for excellent delivery of products but also for scrupulous customer service.

"I used to think this company was pretty good, sending me what I ordered. The last two times have been different. Starting with the previous order, I ordered 1/8" inch thick carbon filter media. The actual thickness was about half of that, with it taking four layers of the stuff to add up to the 1/4" thick filter I had gotten previously. The quality of the filtration was poor, but I just figured I would not order that product again.
Okay, so this time I get this great 15% off coupon with free shipping. I use it to order 1/4" carbon media just as I used to do. In the past there were no problems, the shipping was free and the product was good. This time, despite my checkout cart showing free shipping, I was emailed by Brenda saying that UPS shipping would be $12.99, and requesting approval to continue. I replied politely, to the effect that I had used a coupon code that offered free shipping. She replied that my item was F.O.B., and that I had not read the fine print. I replied that the fine print gave their company discretion as to whether shipping was free, and that in the past it was free for that identical order and using a similar coupon. I requested that the free shipping be applied and to appeal Brenda's decision. Well, the offer window has come and gone with absolutely no reply from Brenda. That is rude. Ignoring their customers reasonable requests is not something that would make me recommend this company. I will look elsewhere next time.
Edit 4/16/13: Well, the company came through without any further contact on my part. It took a little over a week, but Cora got back to me and agreed that my particular order should reasonably qualify for free shipping. So now I am happy again, and think the product I ordered is a good one. I will change my rating to four stars, with one marked off because the 1/8" filter that I had ordered the one time stacked up to be 1/16", but as I said, I just won't order that one again."
"I have done business with Filters-Now for years. All of my orders have been of high quality and great prices. I try and order during a sale and get free shipping along with a discount. When you order they send periodic emails with sale offers. I would and have recommended this retailer to my friends and family and will continue to order from this company. I've never had a problem where I needed to contact their customer service dept, however I'm sure they would be fair with me. I have emailed them a few times to ask general product questions and all my emails were responded to in a timely and professional manner. "This company is a JOKE! Do NOT do business with this company! And their company Facebook page is a joke too. They keep it so you can't write negative comments on their page. Funny how they have all this money to give their employees free iPads, but they won't refund you when their own product is wrong! I needed a wrench to unscrew the 20-inch Big Blue filter housing that I have. The description for their wrench clearly stated, "for the 20-inch Big Blue Housings." When I got the product a week later, it was not the right size they had described. This particular wrench only go up half way on the filter housing, it needs to go all the way to the top where it's screwed in. I called the company phone number and their representative was UNhelpful. She said I'm going to have to pay for shipping to send it back and all I can get is store credit. I told her I bought this product off of Amazon.com (placed there by their own company), I said the description is correct but the product received is not. She responded saying, "I don't know what products we place on Amazon." WHAT? Are you kidding me?! You don't know what your own company is selling on Amazon?! Even on Amazon, they put their company motto as "Your Satisfaction Is Our Reward." Also, their own company website states "Satisfaction Guaranteed," and it went on to say, "If any Filters-NOW product does not meet your complete satisfaction, return the product for a full refund." I was not given a refund, I was only promise a store credit if and when I return the product...at my own expense. What a bunch of BS! This is why American companies are falling to the wayside. With customer service like this and an "I-don't-care" attitude like this, you will lose businesses left and right! DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!
Post Script: So I went ahead and used the wrench anyway to see if I can loosen the filter housing. Pieces of the plastic from the wrench started coming off! And then it broke in the middle of it. Because it's made of cheap thin plastic. I will eat the lost and not have to deal with this company again!"
"I placed an order with them got the shipment the filters were the wrong size, called them they said to ship them back to store at my dime it cost me $30.30 to ship the filters back. I got a call from them that they were damaged in shipment I had to call UPS to file a claim. I did that I get an email from UPS saying the reason they were damaged was they were not packaged to their specs, 2" of space around the filters with padding. The filters are packed into the boxes so tight that when you try to pull them out create a vacuum suction holding them back. UPS sends me another email saying they are charging me $12.78 to ship them back to me now it has cost me over $42.00 for the shipping. I got them filters today and pull the filters out and they are not damaged I called them and they had me take pictures of the filters and the shipping label. This will be the last time I will do business with them after this cluster ____."
