"placed an order with the company hoping to get some fish not available here, they never sent an email for shipping or filled order, they never would answer phone calls or emails, sent text message to number which is an iPhone or iPad, they would read the message but refused to answer, filled a complaint with Paypal and got y money back, poor customer service, avoid!!!!!!!!!

"PLEASE - If you have been ripped off by this seller please file a complaint with the FTC. Google "FTC file complaint". It is easy and takes less then 20 minutes. They actually have the power to shut a company down. If you still want to place an order, go ahead and bookmark the FTC site first.
Ordered 2 fish and a few inverts. Requested a delivery date 10 days in advance. No contact was made, phone calls / emails were not returned. I disputed the charge after specified delivery date had passed. Then I get a box with a dead fish on my porch 2 days later and find my dispute was closed because he sent them a tracking number. Still no contact, but he sent paypal a tracking number! I came on here and wrote a review and it was initially removed because seller flagged I did not have a transaction with them. I check these reviews periodically and find the horror story reviews typically disappear. There are only 1 and 5 star reviews on this seller, with a sharp contrast in experience. I question the validity of the 5 star reviews.
This company has an F with the BBB. That's hard to do!

"I would avoid at all cost. I placed an order and then canceled when he gave me a bogus delivery date. He refused to refund my money . Had to open a case with Paypal for him to respond to my emails. Should of done my research. This guy has an F rating by BBB bureau and open cases where some people never received their items Luckily i used paypal. Its a scam...

There was an issue with the the shipping confirmation info not making it through and they took full responsibility if I had any issues with the fish. Fortunately, it arrived in perfect healthy condition and has remained a very healthy member in my tank for the past 6 months. Communication with Fin-Addict was prompt and helpful. I plan on placing another order from them."

Also some of the idem they say reef safe but it's not like the angelfish who they say "Coral only tank set up"??? but Angelfish can eat corals so should be with caution. "Placed an order last week and nothing has happened. I got on email from one person who said the order would ship Monday, well it is late Wednesday and nothing. I have sent 5 emails and called once and nobody is manning the system, very odd. The products they supposedly have look good but nobody is at the helm, sad.
The Fin-Addict team did contact me and explained that they had to close the shop for a few days for a family emergency. I can understand this situation very much. I did receive my order one week later and everything arrived in very good condition. I ordered several Rock Flower anemones and numerous crabs, all items arrived good and all is well in my tank. Chris did go the extra mile and sent two extra anemones for all the hassle with my order, this is very much appreciated. Thanks for getting back with me and placing my order in a timely manner."

" I made an order with this site on 12/7/14. The order was shipped with a downgraded shipping. Took longer to get to me. It was very poorly packed with no heating. I live in nh. 30º or less in dec. Needless to say more than half the order arrived dead. After contacting them I was told they would replace my losses. I was a little shocked by there lack of caring for the loss of life. But atleast I was going to get replacements and I would not lose my money. Or so I thought. I got excuse after excuse for why it did not ship. Out of the office. Out for new years. Recollecting the order. Waiting for weather. (Which no other company has issue with) after 4+ months I finally had temps in the 40's at night. Got so excited. Then...... fedex price confusion, fedex account redone, applying for their discount, fedex delays after account was fixed, and the kicker a newborn in the fam. After six months of putting me off they just stopped responding. My account on their site says awaiting payment and pending. When it was already paid with paypal. (So there is a record) I have emails including the original invoice, and the entire 70+ email conversation to back up my story. I was more than patient waiting until the last week. The labor was my last straw. I did not cus but I did express my disatisfaction. Thats when I stopped getting a response. . DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT. Not to mention the complete lack of caring for the marine life.
After seeing my review today 6-9 they sent an email saying he dropped the order at fedex and I'd get a tracking number tonight. Weird right. But three minutes later he said he saw the review and would be picking it back up. (Now it makes sense) lol. Said he won't send it unless I remove the review. I told him I would edit it after I received the order. He said no shipping until its down. I said I will just keep posting reviews so people know. To which he replied "go for it". Again I have emails to back up everything. So he completly reneged on the replacements owed after 6 months of broken promises. And blames it on my review.
the owner was kind enough to email me and let me know that he responded to my review with lies and that nobody would ever know and I was wasting my time.just do a search on the company. 2.9 here, D plus with the BBB, horrible reviews on both reef boards that I am a member of as well as my local one. even had people posting good comments with a finaddicts return address. there is no depth to which this man will not sink. If I were the jerk he claims I would not have waited 6 months "

"This is my first time ordering from them, and may be my last. The prices were great, and it looked promising. However their overnight shipping is a bit misleading. We ordered on a Wednesday, they only count business days. They packaged everything on Tuesday (6 days later), half arrived Wednesday (meaning items missing).
On ordering we got no confirmation email or receipt. On shipping, they emailed saying my package could not be tracked when I inquired. When it arrived, the shrimp were not shrimp, they were pieces of heads and tails, with bits rotting in the bag. The 100 crabs we ordered had no water in the bag, just a piece of dry filter material in it. No living crabs. We ordered a sea cucumber, it was not in the order. There was no packing list included, so I'm not even sure if the person filling our box knew what was suppose to go in it. One of four sea stars were dead on arrival. This site has no live customer support, nor do they offer a phone number to contact them. As it stands, I'm currently waiting for an email reply to my request for a phone number, or a remedy to the shipment issues described above."
