"Just bought and paid for two orders of 8 each Dwarf Seahorses on ebay by this Seller. Packaged was shipped a day late, no big deal but communication would have been nice. I communicated several times with them; seller had plenty of opportunity to give details on what I didn't even know to ask was different from other sellers.
1 - all seahorses were packed in one large bag.
2 - never did find all 16, no extras packed
3 - shipped with a hard piece of coral; squashing and smashing livestock
4 - they were ALL females; not a single male, seller says "so what" but should have stated this clearly on their offer . . . hence nobody would buy!
5 - they require proof of DOAS but without physical bodies (dead or alive) for the full count, that is not possible.
6 - seller offered no remedy to the ebay dispute whatsoever.
7 - seller admitted that they intentionally left out the details (all females, hard coral, etc.)
Honesty would go a long way; just state that you're not following the same business practices as the other ebay sellers. Leaving important details out intentionally is just not good business. I had intentions of buying $100 worth every two weeks for several months . . . good thing I found out on the first order! Will buy somewhere else. Sellers like this give others a bad name. "

"My group and I recently purchased the 100 pack of Ricordea polyps, along with the Fin-Addict Crab Pack and multiple single stem magroalgae pleants from Fin-Adddict. We were very impressed with the large sizes and colors of the ricordea, many of which had multiple mouths for easy fragging. The crabs were alive and neat looking, the macroalgae was large and green. We already have our second order placed, excellent store to purchase from"

"First off, I'm suspicious of the positive reviews, as they all have been edited and read very similar writing.

Second, prices are probably so good because he doesn't intend on sending you the fish you order. We have been struggling with him to get our stock, and then he stops communicating with you.

The shipping is not fed-ex overnight, it's USPS, and it's a flimsy box filled with the bags of fish and Styrofoam PEANUTS for pete's sake! No Styrofoam box for stability even. The heat packs will be cold by the time you get them, so hopefully you are in a warmer climate when you order.

The prices look good, but compared to the hassle and trouble it is to deal with Chris--not worth it. If I were to do it over, I would pay 3x what I paid him to have a reliable, trustworthy source.

We are currently trying to get a refund for DOA and unfulfilled stock, and he is being insulting and rude and not willing to refund. If it were a local store, I'd call that theft, just saying."

"A refund/replacement thatwas supposed to be given to me on the next items I ordered. Yet when I contacted them to see what was in stock to order, I got a few responses then after that I emailed them and got no responses back. I had gotten another person to email them through the contact form which they did get a response back from them. So from this I know they are ignoring my emails and phone calls that I am attempting to make to them in order to get my refund. Which died within the period of the guarantee. I had sent them photos and evidence that they did not survive and they said they were going to refund it on my next order. Prior to this order they were helpful but as soon as a issue aroused there service basically deplenished. Seems like once a issue or refund comes they do not respond or contact there customers anymore which I have proven. Now from this I will not make another order with this business because of how they handle their customers and how they handle their shipping. Also it was shipped in a 12x12x12 box with no insulation at all. So when it arrived the package was freezing. No heat packs at all within the box so the water was about 50 degrees when it came in.

As for shipping as said below it did not go out on the day it was supposed to. It kept being pushed back and when you asked them anything they would say they have it. When you go to order it they will not have it. Worst customer service I have even seen from any business.

I also Filed a complaint with the BBB on this business, and looking into any other places where I can file a complaint. "

"I have had nothing but excellent results from this merchant! Having a nano tank which is highly sensitive to any adverse changes, I have not encountered any problems. My banded coral has molted numerous times and is now almost outgrowing my tank. I have been a repeat customer because of the following: great customer service, healthy livestock, with reasonable and professional shipping. I have purchased inverts, corals, and fish from this company over the last year and have not lost any livestock. I will continue to send my business their way. "One of the attractive thing about this website is that their prices are chaep and they have several unique varieties of fish that we can't easily get in the local lfs or even from other online stores. I had a small dispute with the owner but the owner promptly resolved the issue and satisfied my request. The business shows good customer service. Will receive my shipment soon from here and will leave a honest review of the quality of the livestock soon. "

"This place is the worst. they ship orders shorts and say they will fill the order after you finally get hold of them. They ignore most emails and have promised to send the rest of the order for over 4 weeks now. Dont order from these poeple they dont have the stock they say they have and will make you wait as well they send the last weak specimen in stock."
