I never have any problem buying on internet before. This is my First case.
I order the Plasma TV Pioneer PDP-4340HD from PriceMad.com on March 21.
Before I placed the order on the internet. I called them to make sure they have it instock and I also ask them after I placed the order on internet when they will ship out. They told me they will ship out in 1 to 2 business days.
Then I placed the order immediately on the website. I received a email 10 minutes later for call them to verify my order. So I called them again to confirm everything with them.
I waited for a whole week until March 28 still never receive any email from them , so I call them again. They said it was backorder and need to wait 3 weeks.
Then I told them I want to cancel the order.
I asked my boyfriend to call them about the same Plasma TV and told my boyfriend to ask them if it is instock and he will order it. The sales told my boyfriend , they have it instock and suggest him to place the order now. My boyfriend said he will think about it then hang up.
This is the experience I got from PriceMad.com
My boyfriend told me they maybe just want to have your credit card information.
Today April 13, I received seven phone calls (10am to 3:30pm) from them in complaining on my comments on their in-stock, shipments and delivery problem.
First of all, the product was never in stock when I placed a order (they claimed they have in-stock when I contact the sales agent), and I canceled the order seven days later because the product was still in backorder and told me to wait for 3 weeks to ship out *I refused to wait the product for 3 weeks*. Now two weeks later after I canceled order, through phone contact, the agent claimed to do an immediate charge on order with a restocking fee because the comment I wrote. What business practice is this?! I never receive my order, and I canceled the order long time ago; now they want to charge me restocking fee. *He told me on the phone said his boss was unhappy because I wrote the review.* I thought in US, customer is always right whether he/she is right or wrong.
I hope those consumers who read this comment should find a better serving retailer. "
"Ordered 42" Plasma but they wouldn't ship it until I called then to review my order and confirm my purchase...I emailed them 4 times indicating my intent to purchase but only received a boilerplate (SPAM) response...Price Mad is obviously a fraud looking to sell you something else."
