Deceptive practices - Do not use

"I had two flight that needed to be cancled. The second one did not go through altough it looked like it did. The customer service is terrible and I could not get help with the cancelation and have not been able to get a refund although I went through the process with in an hour after booking. The customer service agent said the cancel tab does not actually cancel the booking. You are required to type the booking number in for the cancellation to process. They do not post this!! If you have issues with Flight Hub reported them to the BBB, Attorney General, and Travel Industry Council of Ontario. Stop Flight Hub from continuing to rip customers off! "

Be aware. Stay away.

"Be aware. Stay away.
The money you pay for seat selection is only partially refunded if you don’t get the assigned seat.
I paid $120 for a seat selection. I did not get the seat. I was only refunded $15.
They have no phone number to complaint. Only test messages with unprofessional and inexperienced staff.
This is daylight robbery.

Customers service is horrendous, blaming the airline itself when it was Flighthub who made the error

Ticket

"I was using flight hub for buying my tickets and referred them to my family and friends. 3 days a go i bought ticket and called to chenge date but they canceled my ticket and gave me credit for buy another ticket after one day i called and they asked me 2000$ extra for using my credit to buy another ticket. I told if i buy another new ticket and don't use my credir (1600$ ) this new ticket is 1550$ . Why i pay 2000 plus my credit is 1600$ for ticket that is 1550$. Why i pay extra and they sead you have to buy this ticket otherwise police willl call you ."

SCAM! DON'T DO IT!

"DON'T DO IT! Complete waste of time, robbery, unprofessional and simply not worth the headache. I moved forward with purchasing a flight and enter all of my personal details including card information. Once I was charged, I pop-up appeared stating the following "The fares for one or more flights are no longer available" and was provided with 3 options 1. go back to the results page 2.start a new search or 3.contact them. I understand how third party flights work and decided to clear all of my cookies, cache, history and data and conducted a new search. THE SAME FLIGHT APPEARED! Against my better judgment I went ahead selected the flight (since it was being advertised as available and a message on the lower right-hand corner appeared stating the tickets were going fast for this fare - which didn't appear previously). Once again, I completed the process, was charged and received the VERY SAME ERROR MESSAGE. I called the customer service line the first person I spoke with was tempered and did not offer any solutions and simply kept stating that I would be automatically refunded in 3-7 days and that sometimes the site it not up to date with the current flights from other airlines in realtime. I spoke with someone else after that cs rep since the call was going nowhere and this rep was a bit nicer but no solution was offered. 5 hours later - I've spoken to a total of 4 different people, call was disconnected once, another rep told me there was nothing she could do about the refund and suggested I use the chat feature on the site which only has 2 options - to book a flight call their service line if you have a flight enter booking number. Without a booking number, no other option would appear in the chat feature. I had to call, yet again.
If this doesn't feel like a waste of time and money, then I don't know what will.

Just don't do it, save yourself the headache.
Share this info with anyone else you know and spare them the misery.

This is awful.

Flighthub employee scammer Oscar Llobet ext 110

"Warning I was scammed by Dishonest employee Oscar Llobet ext 110. Flighthub.com Montreal office

To flight hub management. I have a serious complaint against your employee by the name of Oscar Llobet ext 110 from your montreal Quebec office. Oscar Llobet ext 110 purposely charged me a higher price flight ticket by $400 more than the website. I called to get help and I told him I wanted the lowest price possible as per your website flighthub. One way from Shanghai to Toronto for the amount $1341 leaving Aug 4. If you look on the website the lowest price is still there and has even gone lower . He lied and said he could not give me this price and that all the tickets were sold out and prices were going up. But as of the next day and a week later the lowest price for this flight and tickets are still there. Oscar Llobet ext 110 tricked me and said if I did not book now the ticket price would go higher and made up an excuse and booked me on a flight with out my approval for $400 dollars more than the price on the website. Yet the lowest price is still there days later. Can you please fire Oscar Llobet ext 110 now. I would like a full refund without penalty or and charges for this flight as i did not approve this flight. Oscar Llobet coerced me and used scare tactics to get me to pay the higher priced ticket. Who can I talk to? Why would Oscsr lie and book me on a flight that cost $400 more than on the website? And that I did not approve. Is this how you train your employees? As you can in my attachement the price is still 1335. Yet he still charged me 1484 for both tickets. Oscar Llobet ext 110 is a liar and is very dishonest. Can you please help me?

Flight cancel insurance scammers!

"To chime into with all the thousands of flight hub.ca complaints they obviously care nothing about. So we book two tickets to Guatemala and because we booked so far in advance we take out flight cancelation insurance in case. When you pay for cancelation insurance what do you think you are paying $100 each ticket for? I assumed like everyone else it was so if I needed to cancel my flight all I had to do was call within reasonable notice. Two months before the flight I call and tell them we have to cancel because my wife cant go and they say sorry about your luck. I tell them we paid two hundred dollars for cancelation insurance and they say you need a document from your Dr attesting to your inability to crawl to the airport or a death certificate saying your mother died the day of the booking or if you had a flight booked to Gaza you might need proof that your hotel had been bombed or destroyed by rockets you may (or may not) qualify to get your cancelation refund you paid for but thats up to them to decide. On further investigation that wouldn’t qualify. P.S. We could have got real flight cancelation insurance and health insurance $20 bucks cheaper each from CAA then the fake insurance Flight Hub sells. I unfortunately found out after the fact.

So if you buy flight cancelation insurance not only is not worth the paper its written on and your out the money your plane ticket money is down the toilet so we are out 1800 bucks to the crooks.

Worse flight seller agent

"I booked a round trip flight from PG, BC to Calgary for the next day and return a week after. I clearly searched for the trip to start from PG first but after I hit confirm booking, I checked the confirmation email, I realized my trip was wrong. The trip was the opposite. It will start from Calgary to PG first, and the return was from PG to Calgary instead. I tried to contact the Help Centre to make the correction. After an hour long waiting on the phone, they told me that I have to pay $175 for the cancelation fee even I just booked few minutes ago plus waiting time for their response. They said it was Westjet cancelation policy because I canceled at the last minute despite the fact that it was less than few minutes of booking. also, I didn't mean to cancel the flight but to reverse the booking the other way around. In addition, my call happened before the 24-hour deadline. I also bought their cancelation insurance for $77. They said they will refund the 77 and waive their handling fees, blablabla... Therefore, I still have to pay for %175. I did a research on Westjet cancelation policy, it said there is no charge for cancelation in within the 24 hours of booking. So, I don't understand. I'll call Westjet tomorrow to find out if they would charge that or it's just this company trying to rip me off. :(. Would never buy and recomend anyone to buy ticket through this company. "

Worst experience ever !

"We booked 4 flights to Florida for Feb 2024 2 months ago. We paid about 550 each and received email confirmations for all of us. One person made a small mistake on their middle name and was told she had to pay Flight Hub 400 to make the change. She called West Jet who said they would have not charged. In the end Flight Hub lowered the penalty to 75.
When we tried to confirm with West Jet our ETickets were Invalid. We called Flight Hub and were told in order to ensure we get on our flight we need to pay an extra 350 to 400 dollars. It seems when you buy from them you are actually put on stand by status. No guarantee you will ever be on that flight. We are flying to a cruise boat so this is unacceptable. When we have talked to agents everyone there gives you a different answer. One said the problem is because we didn’t pay for seat selection which is an option. Or so we thought. Another said we didn’t confirm which we did. Another said passport info wrong for two of us ( not the one who needed name correction ) and another agent actually said they didn’t have our passport info as I was looking at a confirmation from them right in front of me.
To me this is just one big cash grab - I’m sure this will not resolved after we have talked to many people there. We are really worried that we will not make it to our cruise now. All of us are seasoned travellers and have booked flights many times with no issues. This was our first time with Flight Hub and it will our last.
If you are going to board a cruise ship especially do not use this company !!

Flighthub is the worst travel agent company to book flights with and to deal with

"Flighthub is the worst travel agent company to book flights with and to deal with. They have some special rates which they book tickets on, and even if you are eligible for a ticket change, you are not able to change the tickets. My booking number was 220-358-792. I booked 2 tickets for me and my fiancé, because we were flying to India to get married, which costed me approximately CAD4500. Due to some visa appointment issues, we were not able to get Schengen visa to have 2 layovers in Germany. I started calling Flighthub since 2nd January and kept on calling them until 2nd February. I made approximately 30 calls in which I didn’t get any success in changing the return flight. In the end, I had to book a new flights which costed me CAD3677. Every time I called, the call lasted for approximately 1 hour and it did not result in a positive outcome. The representatives said that they were not able to view the price difference. A couple of times the representatives were able to see the fare difference and it was approximately CAD1450 (for which we could buy new flight tickets), but they were not able to book. I would like to have a refund or credit for the return flight or the fare returned for the return flights. It is not fair to have tickets booked which you cannot use."

Horrible experience

"Horrible experience. Paid over $5000 for a flight which was then canceled. We were told we would get a credit for new flights but then never received it. Get a different story from every Flight Hub agent we've spoken to. They ripped us off for over $5000.00! Please don't use them. Spent 3 hours total on hold today trying to speak to a representative"
