"Extremely low quality plastic frames you can buy at Walmart for $15 dollars instead of paying these outrageous prices. I assumed I was getting solid wood framed artwork for the price I was paying, but was very disappointed instead.

Also, shipping costs are sky high and they don’t deliver. Ordered prints “in stock” on a Tuesday, paid for overnight shipping and the items didn’t arrive until Friday evening. "

"I received my item and it was beautiful. But the frame was broken, more likely from transport. It was not Well padded and I can even shake it just from picking it up at the front door. I sent an email to Framed Art and they got back to me right away. They sent a replacement, no questions asked. Now that is what customer service is about. "

"I needed a collection of prints to hang in one space. FramedArt provided lots of subjects and prints for me to chose from. Being able to display various mat and frame options was great and gave me a good idea of the end result. The framed prints that arrived looked like what I expected. However, the quality of the frame was less than I expected. I thought it would be wood, but it is a synthetic material."

"I was expecting my prints to be framed with glass but instead they have cheap plexiglass. In addition, the "wood" frames are plastic that are meant to look like wood. Finally, when I placed the order I requested hanging wire on the backs and only one arrived this way. Very disappointing as I spent nearly $300 on these two prints that are worth maybe $35. I'll never shop here again."

"I purchased my first picture in July. When it came, I noticed the joints of the frame were not completely in place. It was so minor that I decided to live with it.

I ordered a second picture. They sent the wrong one. I emailed customer service on Sunday and had a response the same day. They rushed out my original picture and told me to keep or do whatever I wanted with the wrong picture.

This weekend I noticed the frame on the first picture was splitting at the joints. I took pictures and emailed customer service again on Sunday. I received a response Monday saying they will send out a new picture and to do what I wish with the old one.

The pictures I ordered are framed with nice quality frames and nicely done. I can not say enough about the customer service of this company. In this business world you literally have to fight to get a response and Framed Art is the opposite. Kudos to your organization."

"The frame and mat were done nicely, however the photo wasn't complete adhered to all of the edges and the photo is warped now. The photo should also be mounted on a board so it doesn't look warped as well. When you look at the side edges of the photo you can see gaps around the mat and photo where it wasn't adhered well."

"I ordered two small format and two large format prints. The small format were OK, frame looked ok and matting was well done, but the print was magazine quality. The large format were horrible. Paid well over $350 for an image I love; however it is not even mounted to a board, you can make out wrinkles in the surface of the print. The flimsy cardboard backing wasn't even set in properly. The frame is very light and flimsy, doesn't offer any support so the piece doesn't even sit flat on the wall. Total trash. The other large format was of Andromeda. There are no true blacks in the picture, it looks again like a blown up clip from a magazine.

Will not order from these guys again."

"I guess I was lucky, based on previous reviews - the "wood" (actually plastic) frame on my large print is put together very well, matting looks great, and the photo itself is pretty clear considering the size I had it blown up to.

The system they use for mounting is pretty tricky to get hung properly and involves a lot of wall anchors, but once it's up it's not going anywhere. Another review mentioned that a wire mount was an option, but I didn't see that. It would have been a lot easier, but maybe not sturdy enough for a large frame.

I was impressed with the packaging for shipment, and it arrived a day or two earlier than I expected (took about a week, total). "
