My car was broken into and my GPS stolen yesterday morning. I ordered a new one from GPS City late that afternoon at a very competitive price. I elected to take the special next-day delivery option for only $1.00 since I was leaving on a trip in 3 days. I really didnt expect to see it next day but before noon the next day the GPS arrived, less than 18 hours after I ordered it. Shipping was cheaper than gas for the car to go to the store!
Considering the difficult events of the day this was certainly a bright spot!

"I have had a bad experience with a recent order I placed on this company. I ordered on the 15/7 and have still not received the item nearly a month later. As I am in Singapore I waited 2 weeks until i went back to them to get an update. I got the standard reply that it may take up to a month for delivery but I have had many items delivered from the US well before that. Decided to wait another week but nothing. Finally I had the feeling that they may have got my addresse wrong so I checked my emails, sure enough they missed an address line. went to the post office and they have no record of the delivery
On their system (I gave them the USPS track number). Complained to GPSCITY and got the response that IF the item was returned I MAY get a refund after 2-3 MONTHS!. I suspect
that I would not get a full refund either. Very bad experience and I am out of pocket and no idea of where the item is. Even had asked me to reorder and wait for the refund. Sorry for the long review
Update 29/8
Wanted to give an update on my problem with GPSCity. After some negotiations (which only started after the review was posted) with their customer service they kindly offered a 50% discount if I reordered the items which went missing. I agreed and also asked for another item which would be charged at full price. I even mentioned I would update the review once this was all settled. The offer was made of the 11th of August. I spent the next week and a half trying get them to send me an invoice or tell me how I could place the order at the discounted price. Finally I get an email response (26th of August) stating that the matter was closed and that they mentioned that the review I posted was a 'threat' and that I was trying to extort them!. I was very much surprised at the tone of the email which was very aggressive. I have assumed that they have reneged on the offer but they would not admit it. I got the feeling that they were more concerned with the negative review than the actual issue at hand. The offer to help out was nice but to not follow through was pretty disappointing. In summary, order lost, no offer for replacement, and no idea if I will get a refund. "
"As always, my recent purchase with GPSCity was fast, easy and as painless as possible. They even sent the items overnight, though I had chosen the two day option, and didn't charge anything extra!
And when the item I purchased went on sale the following week, all it took was a phone call to get the price adjustment.

"I have done business with this company on multiple occasions and have always been satisfied. One particular order, there was one item on the order that was holding up delivery of the entire order. I needed this shipment to give as a gift so I called customer service. They managed to juggle the parts on my order so I had almost the same thing and it could ship on time. The amazing part was, the new setup actually cost less then my original selections. This is probably the first time I have dealt with a company where I received extra attention and they made less money. I will certainly be doing mare business with them in the future."

“Our apologies for this issue. We are looking into it right now. We will verify the information you provided and investigate the situation. International shipments via USPS are for the most part pretty reliable. If the problem is ours, we will definitely make good on this issue.
Upon further review, we have verified that you have not provided the complete address information when ordering your items. We were able to track your tickets on this matter where you claim that we dropped a part of your address. Our system records the exact information submitted with each order in a separate database for verification, and we see that you failed to provide the full address you mentioned - the second line was not provided. Again, our apologies, however, we do not feel we should be to blame when our customers fail to provide the necessary complete address information.”
