"This company is great! I ordered an Abit NF7-S moterboard from them with free ground shipping. I ordered it on Tuesday morning before 12:00, and got it the next day, Wednesday from fedex. Motherboard box was a little damaged, but everything was included.. I still have yet to test the motherboard, but if it works, then thanks GameVE."

"I ordered a motherboard on GameVE's website. Their website glitched and changed my order from 1 to 2 motherboards and charged be for both. My confirmation clearly read a charge for 1 motherboard. I called them up and after 3 people and an hour on the phone they finally admitted there was a "possibility" of a glitch in the software and stopped blaming me outright. They finally agreed to pay $5 for me to ship the extra back (a point that took a long heated arguement) and credit my card for the extra board. The customer service is arrogant and will not admit fault even in the presence of overwhelming evidence. I recieved no compensation for my time wasted on the phone and shipping the board back. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM AT ANY COST!!!"

"Bought the IC7-G from them on 6/1/2003 and today 6/24/2003, the hook which used to attach NB HSF is broken. I try to call them and tell them that is a known problem with the board and try to RMA the board but their customer services are horrible, they refused to exchange another board because of PHYSICAL DAMAGE (it's not my fauld at all). Then thay tell me to deal direct with manufactory.
I never have any problem with NEWEGG when it comes to RMA.
THIS IS MY FIRST ORDER AND MY LAST FROM GAMEVE.COM AND I WILL NOT RECOMMENT THIS COMPANY TO ANYBODY.
Their resellerratings is getting worse, when I order, their ratings was almost 9.00 and right now it came down to 7.xxx. I beleive, this number says all.

"I LIKE YOUR WEB SITE IT HAS NICE PRICES BUT GET THE SHIPPING TO SHIP OUT WAS A BIG PROBLEM, I FEEL THAT IF YOU GOING TO CHECK OUT A CREDIT CARD DON'T TAKE THE MONEY THEN QUESTION THE MERIT OF THE CARD. IF YOU WANT CHECK THE MERIT OF THE CARD THEN YOU CHECK THE CARD OUT FIRST BEFORE YOU TAKE THE MONEY. THE ONLY PROBLEM THAT I HAD WAS THAT YOU TOOK THE MONEY FOR THE IDEM AND THEN HAD TO WAIT A WEEK BEFORE I GOT THE PRODUCT. BUT OTHER THEN THAT PROBLEM YOUR SERVICE WAS GREAT. "I'm mostly satisfied with the service. Ordered a radeon 9700 vid card recieved it in 2 and a half days in good working order. Only quibble is it was the oem version instead of the retail version which had a gamepack with it. None of the games were of much interest to me so I wasn't too broken up about it."

"I finally received my new video card today, and it wasn't the card I'd ordered.

WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!

Timeline:

6-6 Ordered a Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 Pro from GameVE.com, for $160, plus $6.75 shipping.
6-10 Got a call from GameVE.com, was told the Sapphire card was on backorder, and wouldn't come in until "the middle of next week." Offered to send me the PowerColor card for "about $12 more." I opted to wait for the Sapphire card.
6-11 Second call, this one left on the answering machine. Offered the ATI card for the same price as the Sapphire. I E-mailed them explaining my reasons for choosing the Sapphire card, and asking about included software/accessories with other 2 cards. No reply.
6-12 Third call, left on answering machine. Offered the ATI or PowerColor card for $175, with free shipping.
6-13 E-mail notice, telling me that the Sapphire card was on backorder. No reply to my previously sent e-mail.
6-17 E-mail notice, telling me that my card was shipped out. Link to ResellerRatings.com included.
6-20 Video card arrive by FedEx. I open the box, and inside is the PowerColor card, not the Sapphire card.

Called GameVE to complain. The best they would do was give me an RMA number, let me return the card with no restocking fee, and a $5 credit (towards shipping costs). Told me to reorder the Sapphire card online, and it would ship out Monday. Refused to get it to me sooner without charging me extra for shipping.

Grievances:

1) Wrong card was sent, despite extra week of waiting.
2) Card that was sent could have arrived a week earlier.
3) To exchange the cards, I'd have to pay for shipping, and wait another 6 days before seeing the card I'd ordered.
4) Unwilling to take a small loss to compensate for poor customer service. After waiting 2 weeks, expecting express shipping to fix their mistake isn't an unreasonable request.

"I had purchased two AMD 2600+ OEM processors from Gameve in February of 2003. Order shipped very quickly. I was not able to build the systems until 1.5 weeks ago (June) when I discovered that Gameve sent me the wrong 2600+ processors (266mhz instead of 333mhz). I called them up with the issue and even though I was beyond the return policy they allowed me to send the wrong processors back for exchange with the right ones. They even called me back when they said they would. I was very impressed with their integrity and professionalism, it is very uncommon. GOOD JOB!"

"Ordered power by ati 9700 pro. Card shipped as advertised. Best price for this card (although I forgot to look for one with memory at 2.8 ns... does it make a difference??? no one knows) Ordered at 5 pm monday, so it didn't even start getting processed until tue (which is normal). Shipped wed morning (one day turnaround, pretty good) Arrived Fri afternoon, (2 days ship ground) Came with more than I expected for OEM card; s-video cable, rca cable or coaxle (didn't check, software, and the required power cable for it. Fairly good packaging. Came in an turned inside out epox motherboard box, full of those nurtle things (lots of static electricity...) but was inside anti static bag, so.... take that as you will. My dad (who ships things a lot) said they should have used anti-static bubble pack, but hey, the card works. I never called them, havn't returned it (yet. knock on wood) so don't know anything about their user support. Will probably buy from them if the price is good, but I'm going to stick with newegg, who is known for their great return service...

*****UPDATE 6/16/03*****
Ended up having to RMA the card (occasional solid black lines through screen on boot... means ram on card is "dieing." Experience...) Anyways, sent the card back, took one week (5 working days) for them to tell me that they discontinued it and most likely won't ever get any more. I asked for my money back, they refused. They wanted to give me a "special" "low end 9700 pro." WTF is that? I asked for a comperable replacement (which would be the oem 9800 pro... the 9800 isn't as good as the 9700 pro (clock speed!)) They refused to give a comperable. I offered to pay for half of the difference, they refused. They said I had to pay for the entire difference, PLUS $10 more dollars because he JUST decided that a card they DISCONTINUED was going down in price!? Would end up being another $75! For their mess up! Plus the $9 I lost on shipping! Bull$ht. Called credit card comp, I am disputing. What a bunch of CRAP!
