"If you do not pay the "rush" extortion fee, apparently GameVE will wait the maximum amount of time before shipping your order. At least, that is what happened in my case, even though I ordered on Saturday so my order was in the system for several days before they even came in on Tuesday morning. My order was shipped on Thursday evening.
I see no reason to EVER order from GameVE again (or suggest them to my friends), as they do not treat all orders and customers as a priority. It is not worth the $2-3 saved in price (in my case) when I can order from Newegg and be virtually assured prompt shipment.
Now my product is not scheduled for delivery until Tuesday of the following week. If I had ordered from Newegg I would have had my package 99% for sure by Friday, and possibly even on Thursday (with the same shipping.. I get fast FedEx from the West coast).
I realize for many of you the 2 business day ship delay (from the date of processing) is perfectly acceptable. Computing/gaming is one of my main hobbies, I spend a considerable amount of my income on it and I expect only the best service. Two days to ship a single, relatively new and in stock item is simply unacceptable to me. "

"Web site rating --POOR, when I ordered my parts they failed to add a shipping charge to my computer case, both of the other items had free shipping. Customer Service Rating --VERY POOR, after 6 days I phoned them to find out the status of my order, and they LIED to me about tiring to call me for two days, I was home the whole time, and I have caller ID and call waiting and email. Now they want to charge me $ 6.00 more than what is posted on Price Watch for shipping charges. On top of that it took nearly 15 days after they recieved the wrong card that i shipped back to refund the additional $302 charge they added to MY DEBIT CARD FOR THIER MISTAKE. "This was my second order with GameVE. The first one was about 6 months ago and went great. I had to write about this second order, though, because I could not believe how fast things went. I placed my order at about 8 am on 5/22 from Spokane, WA. I had a tracking number by that afternoon and the item I ordered (SB Audigy 2 sound card - $74 and free shipping) was actually in Spokane at the FEDEX station by Friday afternoon! Sadly, the next three days were Memorial Day weekend so I did not get it until 5/27. I could, however, have gone down to their station on 5/24 and picked it up, but I was lazy. AWESOME service. A great deal on an item which could have been in my hand in 48 hours! "
"I ordered 2 sticks of pc3700 ocz ram. They didn't work in my Abit IC7 mobo AT ALL so I asked if I could exchange for some dual channel pc3500 ocz ram. A gentleman called me with HORRIBLE english and left a message. I called back and got transfered 3 times before the same gentleman that had called picked up. He told me I couldn't exchange for a different item, only the same. If I wanted a different item, there would be a 15% restocking fee. I decided to eat the 15% and take my business elsewhere as they apparantly don't care. This is ridiculous service, as exchanging an item for something else that is compatible should be possible instead of them LOSING money."

"Several things went wrong with this order. First whoever shipped this transposed the house number. I had to drive to FedEx and wait in line while they found my package. Then, when I opened the package the wrong drive was in the box. I was sent an Artec, not the AOpen I had ordered. What's worse is I was charged for the AOpen, not the cheaper Artec. I had such high hopes in dealing with this company. Now, I have high hopes of avoiding this company. With all the positive ratings this company has, it must be a fluke. I can only assume that they had the monkey interns from the zoo in their order fulfillment and shipping departments the day my order went out."
"I ordered a motherboard from these guys TWO WEEKS AGO. No notice from them. No emails. I finally get an email two days ago saying my order was delayed due to conflicting shipping/billing addresses on my VISA card. I give them the info to confirm this....and *nothing happened*. I'm still in limbo. These guys RARELY if at all answer the phone and DON'T RETURN EMAILS. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Don't expect any fast service with these guys. AVOID AT ALL COSTS."
