"I ordered a Geforce4 Ti4200 video card from GameVE on the morning of 4/4/03. In a couple hours I received an email stating that I needed to provide my credit card company number for authorization due to the fact that I was shipping to an alternate address. I was expecting this because of very clear advertising of such on the web site. Within a few hours I had the FedEx tracking number.

On 30Mar03 I ordered 2x 512mb stick of GeiL PC3500 and then receivd 4 sticks of 256mb memory which was NOT my order. I received an RMA # and paid an additional $268.00 to have the correct order "cross-shipped" to me. I was told I would receive a credit as soon as the incorrect RAM was received by them. I returned the incorrect RAM to them via USPS and they received it on 04Apr03.
I called Gameve on April 7th to confirm they received the ram and to check on the status of my correct order. Mind you I am now out $536 and have no RAM at all. Gameve claimed they did not have the RAM. I however purchased delivery confirmation on my package so I had proof from the US Postal service they had in fact received the RAM back to them. I was told a refund would be issued to me by close of business Tuesday and my correct RAM had gone out that same day and an email would be sent to me with a tracking #.
It is now April 10th and I still have NO refund, NO tracking # and NO RAM.
I called them again April 10th to check on the status of my refund and status of my correct order. I spoke with a gentlmen by the name of "Co". At first he told me I had already received the refund, and I assured him I had not received it. When asked the date of the refund he could not provide it. He said my correct order had already been shipped out within the past couple days, but again he could not provide an exact date or tracking # for the shipment.
I informed "Co" I would be contacting my credit card company to get a refund of my $536 and would be contacting the better business bureau. At this point he put me on hold for about 5 minutes and then told me a refund had not been issued yet and my package had been shipped out today (10Apr03) and I would be receiving a tracking # via email.
Same exact song and dance they had given me previously.
They have received "good" evaluations, all I can say is those people are the extremely. If for any reason you have to RMA then God help you! All they do is offer up excuses and give you the run-a-round.

Aas of 10Apr03 5:12pm Central Time
Shortly after posting my above comments I received a call from "Lawrence" a general manager of GameVE requesting that I contact him about my resellerratings post and a resolution to my problems with GameVE.
When I called and spoke with Lawrence he was very polite and helpful and asked me "What can I do to make you happy? What can I do for you?". I asked him for a tracking number of the RAM I ordered and he promptly provided one and upgraded my shipping to FedEx Overnight delivery. He even opened the package to ensure it was in fact the correct RAM. He checked to make sure my refund was in fact in process and said I should have it no later then close of business Monday. I also asked him for a refund of the $10.00 it cost me to ship back the incorrect RAM, which he imediately agreed to and said it would be included with my refund.
He informed me they are working out some "problem" areas within their company but will do anything possible to satisfy any unhappy customers. He was very polite on the phone and it seems he was very interested in making my experience with his company a pleasant one.
UPDATE #2
On 16Apr03 I called again and spoke with Lawrence inquiring about my refund status. He said he was eating lunch but would call me back before the close of the business day. Well he never called me back. On 17Apr03 I called once again and spoke with Lawrence about my refund status. He said the refund had gone through on 17Apr03, and that he had "no idea" why GameVE took so long to refund my money. The money is still not in my account as of 18Apr03 1:20pm Central time, and my bank shows no such refund transaction to this day.
I am calling the Better Business Bureau today and lodging a formal complaint against GameVE for their constant stall tactics. I am tired of getting nothing but stories and lies from this company.
UPDATE#3
I received my refund (partially) on 19Apr03 after repeatedly being LIED to by GameVE about when it had actually been refunded. I was not credited for the price of return shipping for the incorrect RAM. Even though Lawrence "assured" and "promised" me I would receive a refund on the return shipping costs.
